They thought that a person's brain growth was complete and the structure was more or less fixed by the age of 3.However, more recent research shows that although the brain reaches its maximum size between the age of 12 and 14, brain development is not yet complete. The brain's functionally different sections communicate with each other through synapsesconnections between nerve cells. Scientists have found that synapses grow or die away, depending on how much they are used to process information. The good news is that teenagers do have the potential, through choice and behaviour, to shape their brain development. The brain automatically gets rid of the synapses that it doesn't need in order to make the remaining ones more efficient. During the time the brain is removing synapses, the cells and connections that are used survived, while the ones that are not used die away. For example,if a teenager is doing music, sports or academic studies, those are the cells and connections that will become part of the brain's operating system. But unfortunately, if he or she is lying on the sofa, watching TV and playing computer games, those are the brain cells and connections that will remain into adulthood. Therefore, what you do with your teenage years could have an effect on the rest of your life. What is important is that leaving how synapses grow or die away can help teenagers be better equipped to make more intelligent choices, thus motivating them to take a moment before acting to consider the consequences of their action. If you don't want to become an adult who is buried in the sofa all daylong, pull yourself out of itwhen you are still a teenager.参考答案:This research finds teenagers' brain is still developing. Synapses connect nerve cells and enable different brain parts to make communication. They grow when used and disappear if unused. What teenagers choose to do determines what cells and connections survive into adulthood, thus affecting their adult life. Thisknowledge of synapses can help teenagers make wiser choices.解析:五分满分,在及格分3分的基础上,要提及以下两点能得满分1.完整概括青少年大脑生理机能,要表达出用synapses进废退的特征, 表达出They grow when used and disappear if unused。

When angrily opening thescreen door with my foot, I kicked back about a 12-inch part of the lower left hand corner of the new screen door. But I had no remorse, for I was happy to be playing in the backyard with my toys.Today, I know if my child had done what I did, I would have scolded my child, and told him about how expensive this new screen door was, and I would have delivered a spanking (打屁股) for it. My parents never said a word. They left the corner of the screen door pushed out, creating an opening, a breach (裂缝) in the defense against unwanted insects. For years, every time I saw that corner of the screen, it would constantly make me think about my mistake. For years, I knew that everyone in my family would see that hole and remember who did it. For years, every time I saw a fly buzzing (嗡嗡) in the kitchen, I would wonder if it came in through the hole that I had created with my angry foot. I would wonder if my family members were thinking the same thing, silently blaming me every time a flying insect entered our home, making life more terrible for us all. My parents taught me a valuable lesson, one that a spanking or stern (严厉的) words perhaps could not deliver. Their silent punishment for what I had done delivered a hundred stern messages to me. Above all, it has helped me become a more patient person and not burst out so easily.4. Your English teacher loves to start classes with quick quizzes. It can be hard to think of these givers of grades as real people. But they eat pizza, watch movies and enjoy sports on weekends, just like you. So how can you get along well with your teachers? You can do a lot of things to develop a good relationship with your teacher. First, do the obvious things: Show up in class on time with all tasks completed. Stay focused, be respectful and ask questions. Second, show an interest in the subject. Obviously, your teachers are really interested in their subjects, or they wouldn’t have decided to teach them! Show the teacher that you care about the subject—even if you’re not a m ath talent or fluent in French—and send the message that you are a hard-working student. You can also schedule a private meeting in a teacher’s free time. Use this time to get extra help, ask questions, ask for information about a career (职业) in the subject or talk about your progress in class. You may be surprised to learn that your teacher is a bit more relaxed when only facing you than when teaching in front of the whole class. What if you just don’t like the teacher? When it comes to working with teachers, one’s characteristics can come into play just as they can in any other relationships. People just naturally get along better with some people than with others; it’s impossible to like everyone all the time. Learning to work with people you don’t like is a good interpersonal (人际的) skill to have in life, no matter what your goals are.Teachers are there for more than just homework; they know about more than their subject matters. They can help you learn how to behave as an adult and lifelong learner. Undoubtedly, there will be a few teachers along the way who you’ll always remember—and who might change your life forever.8. D.By developing personal interests.10. What is important when working with teachers you don’t like?A.Your characteristics. B.Your interpersonal skills.C.Your career goals. D.Your grades in exams.11. What can we learn from the last paragraph?A.Teachers can help you grow up. B.Teachers are all lifelong learners.C.Teachers should set enough homework. D.Teachers tend to change you completely. From Black Beauty to The Chronicles of Narnia, films and books have often shown the friendships that can develop between humans and horses. Lots of real-life stories have shown that horses seem to have a special understanding of humans. However, until a recent study, nobody knew if horses really recognized different human emotions.A team of researchers set out to see what horses can understand. They used a test that is often used to see how much babies understand about the world around them. The team brought 28horses into a room, one by one. Each was shown a picture of a happy human and a picture of a sad human. At the same time,a recording of a happy or sad voice was played. The test showed that horses can recognize different emotions by looking at facial expressions and hearing the tone of people’s voices and matching the two up.When the voice didn’t match up with the picture, the horses seemed to be puzzled: they looked at the picture for longer, as if they knew that something wasn’t right. However, the researchers still don’t know if the horses actually understand what it is to be sad or happy.Scientist Océane Liehrmann, from the University of Turku in Finland, worked on the study. She said,“You could imagine that they have a particular box in their mind labelled (贴标签)’human sadness’ containing the characteristics of both a sad face and a sad voice.”It’s also though t that horses prefer to spend time around happy people because they spent longer looking at the pictures of happy people. The researchers now want to see if horses can recognize other negative human emotions.12. Why do the researchers think horses like to be around happy people?A.Because horses like to hear loud laughter.B.Because horses can recognize people’s sad emotions.C.Because horses spent more time on the pictures of happy people.D.Because horses understand what it is to be sad or happy for people.Habits to Be a Highly Effective StudentSome students are able to get straight A’s and at the same time serve as the president of three clubs. However, some students struggle to keep their GPA(grade point average)above 3.0. 16 Althoughit’s true that everyone’s IQ is different, good study habits are very important. Here are several habits you should adopt to get good grades.17 If you haven’t had a “planner”, get one. Many people use their computers and smart phones to make a schedule. The problem with that approach is that they are major distractions(使人分心的事物). Instead, get an old-fashioned paper and pen planner.Create a weekly schedule. 18 Include time that will be spent eating, sleeping and doing anything not related to schoolwork. That way you know exactly how much you can achieve each day.Take frequent, short breaks. Taking a break from studying for 15 minutes every hour will help keep you refreshed. 19 If you don’t take a break, you may find yourself daydreamin g or even falling asleep. Take some time for some water, a snack or a quick chat with a friend.Take care of yourself. During the final exam week, it is common for students to fall behind on sleep and meals. Make sure you get a good night’s sleep and have regular meals. Studying while you are hungry or sleepy is ineffective and will slow you down in the long run. Also try to make the time for family and friends. 20As French author Andre Maurois once said, “Without a family, man, alone in the world, shakes with the cold.” Indeed, families who give us love and _______are an important part of our lives. Thinkingskills
THINKING SKILLSDuring our course,we have learned some thinking skills, such, questioning skill, mind mapping, teacher also told us something about these skills. For the questioning skill, we can use the open-ended questions and closed-ended questions to ask some questions to gain what we want to know or understand, but a good question must be informative, simple and concise, and also must evoke thinking and within the control. iceberg theory, we should understand someone’s true feeling through his or her external performance. In ancient times, the ancients thought that ear, eyes, heart and undivided attention consist of the listen, and now, we use the mouth and evaluation to explain the listen, but, in a word, we need to listen to others carefully so that we can understand others more and gain what e want to know. So, we should be brave, curious, empathic, objective and positive to ask questions, and also we can use open-ended questions. And we also learned the mind mapping, this method can use our whole brain to think divergent. The picture like a nerve center when you use mind mapping method to think to draw. The next is my personal understanding. I learned some otherinformation about thinking skills. Six hats, the method involves visualizing six imaginary hats each representing a distinctive way of thinking or mental role playing. The hats are :White hat: neutral color representing information. A person wearing a white hat is taking an objective look at the information available before acting.Red hat: a warm, passionate color representing feelings. When wearing the red hat, feelings, emotions or intuition are in control.Black hat: logical, negative color associated with law and justice. Wearing a black hat means taking a logical, stern and no nonsense approach.Yellow hat: associated with sunshine and optimism. Wearing a yellow hat means you look positively at the benefits in a good frame of mindGreen hat: as in new growth. Wearing the green hat suggests creativity and new, untried ideas. New ideas spring up in this thinking mode.Blue hat: as in sky blue. A cool, detached look at the thought process is in action when the blue hat is being worn. That is ,control over the thinking process. There are numerous benefits to the six hat framework for creative thinking. For example, by separating these modes, people can avoid muddled thinking involving a mix of differing modes. It also allows the ego to be separated from performance. Overall, the six hats encourage constructive thinking and collaborative thinking by groups of people. The hats are most effective when they are used one at a time to examine a subject from a number of different perspectives. The benefit of the framework comes when people s hats. The six pairs of action shoes follow on from the six hats for creative thinking.Brain storming is a group creativity technique designed to generate a large number of ideas for the solution to a problem. The method was first popularized in the late 1930s by Alex Faickney Osborn. Osborn proposed that groups could double their creative output by using the method of brain storming. There are four basic rules in brainstorming. These are intended to reduce the social inhibitions that occur in groups and therefore stimulate the generation of new ideas. The expected result is a dynamic synergy that will dramatically increase the creativity of the group.Focus on quantity: This rule is a means of enhancing divergent production, aiming to facilitate problem solving through the maxim, quantity breeds quality. The assumption is that the greater the number of ideas generated, the greater the chance of producing a radical and effective solution. No criticism: It is often emphasized that in group brainstorming, criticism should be put 'on hold'. Instead of immediately stating what might be wrong with an idea, the participants focus on extending or adding to it, reserving criticism for a later 'critical stage' of the process. By suspending judgment, one creates a supportive atmosphere where participants feel free to generate unusual ideas.Unusual ideas are welcome: To get a good and long list of ideas, unusual ideas are welcomed. They may open new ways of thinking and provide better solutions than regular ideas. They can be generated by looking from another perspective or setting aside assumptions.Combine and improve ideas: Good ideas can be combined to form a single very good idea, as suggested by the slogan "1+1=3". This approach is assumed to lead to better and more complete ideas than merely generating new ideas alone. It isbelieved to stimulate the building of ideas by a process of association.Morphological analysis: put a problem down into some mind dependent of each other factors, and to think these all factors divergently.lateral thinking : Dr.Edward de Bono defines “lateral thinking” as a way of thinking which involves disrupting an apparent thinking sequence and arriving at the solution from another angle.Lateral thinking attempts to break traditional notions which develop vertical or conditional thinking. Conditional thinking fails you in exploring the other possibilities or probably the best ideas There are several ways of defining lateral thinking, ranging from the technical to the illustrative.1. "You cannot dig a hole in a different place by digging the same hole deeper"2. "Lateral Thinking is for changing concepts and perceptions"3. "The brain as a self-organising information system forms asymmetric patterns. In such systems there is a mathematical need for moving across patterns. The tools and processes of lateralthinking are designed to achieve such 'lateral' movement. The tools are based on an understanding of self-organising information systems."4. "In any self-organising system there is a need to escape froma local optimum in order to move towards a more global optimum. The techniques of lateral thinking, such as provocation, are designed to help that change."All of these way, I don’t know whether it is right or fault, I want to try my best to find these thinking skills. Finally thank you for teaching us, thank you~。

Einstein is best known for his theory of relativity, which includes both the special theory of relativity and the general theory of relativity. The special theory of relativity was published in 1905. It states that the laws of physics are the same for all observers who are moving at a constant speed relative to each other. This theory also introduced the concept of time dilation and length contraction. Time dilation means that time passes more slowly for an object that is moving at a high speed relative to an observer. Length contraction means that the length of an object appears shorter when it is moving at a high speed relative to an observer. The general theory of relativity was published in 1915. It is a theory of gravity that describes how gravity is caused by the curvature of spacetime. According to this theory, massive objects such as stars and planets curve spacetime around them, and other objects are attracted by this curvature. This theory has been confirmed by many experiments and observations, including the bending of light by the sun and the precessionof the orbit of Mercury.Einstein's work had a huge impact on science and technology. His theories led to the development of nuclear energy and the understanding of black holes. He also made important contributions to the fields of quantum mechanics and statistical mechanics.Einstein was not only a brilliant scientist but also a humanitarian. 针对别人的问题给他人提建议做英语作文全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1Helping Friends When They Are StrugglingHi friends! Today I want to talk about something really important - how we can help our friends when they are having a hard time or dealing with problems. It's never fun when people we care about are upset or going through tough stuff. But being a good friend means sticking by them and trying our best to make them feel better.Sometimes, our friends might get bullied at school. That's a huge bummer and can make them feel sad, scared, and alone. If a friend is getting bullied, here are some tips on what to do:First, you have to let an adult know what's going on, like a teacher or principal. Bullying is super not cool and thegrown-ups need to step in to put a stop to it. Don't be afraid to speak up - you could be helping your friend big time.Next, make sure to stick by your friend's side. Spend time with them at recess and lunch so they feel safe and don't have to be alone. Give them lots of hugs and kind words to cheer themup. Bullies are just being mean because they're unhappy with themselves.Your friend might be embarrassed or upset about the bullying. Remind them that it's not their fault at all. The bully is the one doing something wrong, not your friend. Bullying says way more about the bully than it does about the person getting bullied.Other times, a friend could be having issues at home. Maybe their parents are going through a divorce or someone in their family is really sick. These kinds of problems can make kids feels worried, confused, and overwhelmed. Here's some advice:First, just listen. Don't try to judge their situation or give too much advice. Just let your friend talk about how they're feeling without interrupting them. Nod along, give them hugs, and let them know you care.Remind your friend that they didn't cause these problems, and that they aren't alone. Although their family is going through a hard time, they still have friends like you who care about them so much.It can also help to do fun activities together, like having a movie night or playing outside. Getting their mind off theproblems at home for a little while can raise their spirits. Jokes, games, and laughing can work wonders!Sometimes we get frustrated when friends keep venting about the same problems over and over. But try to have patience! Venting helps them get out their feelings in a safe space. Don't tell them to "get over it" as that's not helpful at all.No matter what kind of problem your friend is facing, here are some tried-and-true tips that can help:Send them an nice note letting them know you're thinking about them. Draw a silly picture or share an inside joke to make them smile.Invite them over for a sleepover with movies, snacks, and quality hang-out time. Distraction can be helpful when they're feeling down.Stick up for them if others are gossiping or saying mean things. Having a loyal friend in their corner means everything.Offer to help out in practical ways, like doing homework together or letting them borrow a favorite book or video game. Most importantly, just be there. Simply listening without judging, and letting your friend know you care, can make a huge difference.Watching friends go through hard things isn't easy. But trying our best to be supportive, caring friends can make their problems feel a little bit lighter. Don't forget to also take care of yourself, and ask grown-ups for help if you need it too! What matters most is showing our friends that they aren't alone. With patience, kindness and loads of friendship, we can help each other get through any struggles that come our way. Here's to being great friends!篇2How to Answer Questions Like a SuperstarHey there friends! Today I want to talk to you about something really important - how to answer questions the right way. You know when the teacher calls on you and asks you something? Or when your mom or dad asks you about your day? Answering questions is a skill that will help you out a ton in life. The first thing to know is that it's totally okay if you don't know the answer right away. Don't panic! Take a deep breath and buy yourself some time to think. You can say "Hmm, let me think about that for a second." Then give your brain a moment to work on the question.Next, make sure you really listen to and understand the question before trying to answer. If you're not sure what the person is asking, it's okay to say "Can you repeat the question?" or "I'm not sure I understand, can you rephrase that?" Don't just guess blindly!Once you've got the question down, put on your thinking cap. Look for clues in the words the person used that might point you in the right direction. If it's a "why" question, they probably want a reason or explanation. For "how" questions, they likely want steps or a process described. Get your gears turning! If you still can't come up with the full answer, it's okay to say what you do know. Like "I'm not totally sure, but I think it might be because..." Give a partial answer and they may help fill in the rest. Or you can ask a follow-up question that might jog your memory. When you do know the answer, say it proudly but nicely. Don't be a smart-aleck or show off. Just explain clearly and completely, without rushing. Add some details to really knock their socks off!Oh, and one of the most important tips: make sure you're listening, not just waiting for your turn to talk. Pay attention to the person so you can build on what they say. Having a realback-and-forth conversation is way better than just blurting out an answer.Lastly, if you make a mistake, don't get all embarrassed. Just say "Oops, I mean..." and fix it. We all make mistakes sometimes - what matters is that you learn from them. The more questions you practice answering, the better you'll get!So there you have it - my advice for becoming aquestion-answering superhero. By taking your time, asking for help when you need it, thinking it through, and responding politely, you'll totally impress everyone with your knowledge and smarts. You've got this! Let's all get out there and show 'em what we've got.篇3How to Help Your Best Friend Who is Feeling SadMy best friend Sammy has been feeling really sad lately. I feel terrible for him and I really want to help cheer him up. Here are some ideas I have for how to make your best friend feel better when they are going through a tough time.First off, just篇4Here's an essay about giving advice to others in response to their questions, written in a style suitable for elementary school students and with a length of around 2000 words in English:Title: Helping Friends with Good AdviceHi there! Today, I want to talk about how we can help our friends when they come to us with problems or questions. Sometimes, our friends might be feeling confused, worried, or stuck, and they need someone to listen and give them some good advice. That's where we can step in and be a great friend!First of all, when a friend comes to you with a problem, it's essential to be a good listener. That means you should pay close attention to what they're saying, without interrupting or getting distracted. Let them explain the situation fully, and try to understand how they're feeling. Nod your head, make eye contact, and show them that you care about what they're going through. After your friend has finished talking, it's time to ask some questions. This will help you better understand the problem and make sure you have all the information you need to give goodadvice. You could ask things like, "When did this start happening?" or "Have you tried anything to solve this problem so far?" Be patient and let your friend know that it's okay if they need some time to think about their answers. Now, it's time to start giving your advice. Remember, you're not just trying to tell your friend what to do – you're trying to help them find their own solution. Start by telling them what you think the main problem is, and then offer some ideas or suggestions for how they could handle it.For example, if your friend is having trouble with a bully at school, you could say something like, "It sounds like this bully is really making you feel upset and unsafe. One idea could be to talk to a teacher or the principal about what's happening. They can help make sure the bully stops bothering you. Another idea is to try to avoid the bully as much as possible, and stay close to your other friends who can support you."When giving advice, it's important to use kind and encouraging language. Avoid sounding bossy or judgemental, and make sure your friend knows that you're just trying to help, not tell them what to do. Say things like, "You could try..." or "Maybe it would be a good idea to..." This way, your friend won't feel pressured or criticized. If your friend doesn't seem to like your ideas, don't get upset or frustrated. Everyone has different ways of solving problems, and your friend might need to find their own solution. Just let them know that you're there to support them, no matter what they decide to do.Sometimes, your friend's problem might be really tough, and you might not have all the answers. In that case, it's okay to admit that you're not sure what the best solution is. You could say something like, "Wow, that sounds like a really difficult situation. I'm not sure what the best thing to do is, but I'm here to listen and support you however I can."Giving good advice isn't always easy, but it's an important part of being a good friend. Remember to listen carefully, ask questions, offer kind and encouraging suggestions, and let your friend know that you support them no matter what. With practice, you'll get better and better at helping your friends solve their problems and feel happier. So, the next time a friend comes to you with a question or problem, take a deep breath, put on your best listening ears, and get ready to be a great advice-giver! Your friends will be so grateful to have someone like you in their corner.篇5Giving Good Advice to Your FriendsHi friends! Today I want to talk about how to give really good advice to your friends when they ask you questions or need help with something. Giving advice is super important because it shows you care about your friends and want to help them out. But you have to do it the right way or else your advice might not be very helpful. Let me tell you all the tips I've learned! The most important thing is to listen carefully to what your friend is asking. Don't just hear the first few words and then start talking. That's a bad idea because you might miss important details about their problem or situation. Really pay attention to everything they say so you understand the full story behind their question. If there's something you don't get, ask them to explain more. Getting all the facts straight is key to giving solid advice.Next, think about how you would feel if you were in your friend's shoes. Put yourself in their situation and imagine what advice you would want to hear. Giving advice is kind of like the golden rule - you want to give advice that you would find helpful if the roles were reversed. Don't just blurt out the first thing thatpops into your head. Take a few seconds to carefully consider what would be the most useful perspective to share.Sometimes the best advice is to point out something your friend might be overlooking or hasn't thought about yet. They could be so wrapped up in the problem that they're missing an obvious solution. That's where a fresh pair of eyes can really help out. So look for new angles or considerations your friend hasn't mentioned.Other times, the kindest advice is to simply listen without judging and let your friend vent their frustrations. They might just need to get everything off their chest before they can think clearly about finding an answer. Be a good listener and let them get it all out. Don't interrupt or criticize. Just lend a compassionate ear. When you do share your thoughts, use a nice, gentle tone. Don't sound critical or bossy. Phrase it as a suggestion, not a demand, like "Maybe you could try..." or "Have you considered..." You want to guide your friend, not tell them what to do. Each person needs to make their own choices at the end of the day.Give reasons why your advice makes sense instead of just stating it. Explain your logic. That way your friend understands the reasoning behind your perspective. For example, you couldsay "I think you should apologize because holding grudges is unhealthy and can damage relationships over time." See? I'm not just telling my friend to apologize, I'm explaining why it's better to apologize. If you have personal examples or stories that relate to the advice, share those too! It's easier to understand advice when it's connected to a real life experience. Like if I was advising a friend on how to make new friends at a new school, I could talk about what I did when I was the new kid.Above all, make sure your advice is coming from a place of kindness and wanting the best for your friend. Don't let jealousy, anger or other negative feelings cloud your judgment. Temporarily set aside any conflicts between you so you can look at the situation objectively and impartially. Your advice should have your friend's best interest at heart, not your own agenda. The last important tip is to not force your advice on someone who doesn't want to hear it. If a friend asks for your opinion, great - give it thoughtfully. But if they don't ask, don't push it on them unless it's something really serious where they could get hurt. Unsolicited advice often gets rejected or causes arguments. Wait for your friend to come to you before giving advice, unless it's an emergency situation.Giving advice is a skill that takes practice, but it's worthwhile. Your friends will appreciate your wise and supportive perspectives, as long as the advice is kind, thoughtful and given with good intentions. Follow these tips and you'll be an awesome advice-giver in no time! Just make sure you're also open to hearing advice from your friends too. We all have wisdom to share with each other.。

敢于质疑的英语范文Title: The Importance of Daring to QuestionIn a world where information is abundant and opinions are abundant, the ability to question becomes a vital skill. It is not merely about challenging ideas but also about fostering critical thinking and personal growth. This essay aims to explore the significance of daring to question in today's society.Firstly, questioning promotes understanding. By daring to ask why or how, one can delve deeper into a subject matter, gaining a more profound knowledge than mere surface-level acceptance. For instance, scientists who questioned existing theories led to groundbreaking discoveries like gravity waves, which were only hypothetical before their daring inquiries. Thus, the act of questioning is instrumental in advancing our comprehension of the world.Secondly, questioning encourages critical thinking. In a society rife with biases and misinformation, the ability to critically analyze information is crucial. People who dare to question are less likely to accept information at face value. They engage in mental processes that evaluate the credibility of sources and the validity of arguments, thereby developing arobust sense of skepticism needed in a world saturated with data.Thirdly, from a social perspective, daring to question can dismantle incorrect norms and beliefs. History is replete with instances where courageous questioning led to societal changes, such as the civil rights movement, which challenged the unjust norms of racial discrimination. Therefore, the act of questioning not only affects individual growth but also has the potential to impact societal progress. Moreover, questioning is essential for personal development. It allows individuals to challenge their own preconceptions and limitations, leading to personal growth. By questioning one's beliefs, individuals can refine their values and beliefs, making them more open-minded and adaptable in a rapidly changing world. However, daring to question should be done with respect and an open mind. It is not about being contradictory or argumentative but about seeking truth and promoting dialogue. Questions should be framed in a manner that encourages conversation rather than conflict, ensuring that the process of inquiry is constructive. In conclusion, daring to question is imperative in thequest for knowledge, critical thinking, social change, and personal development. It is a skill that must be cultivated and exercised with discernment and respect. As individuals and as a society, embracing the spirit of inquiry can lead us to a more enlightened and progressive future.。

However, it is important to remember that reasoning is not the only measure of intelligence, and that there are many other factors that can contribute to a person's overall intelligence. One of the main reasons why reasoning is so important is that it allows us to evaluate the validity of arguments and to make decisions based on evidence. When we are presented with a new piece of information, we need to be able to assess its credibility and determine whether or not it is true. We also need to be able to identify the strengths and weaknesses of different arguments and to make decisions based on the best available evidence.Reasoning is also essential for problem-solving. When we are faced with a problem, we need to be able to break it down into its component parts and to identify the root cause of the problem. We then need to be able to develop a logical plan for solving the problem and to implement that plan effectively. While reasoning is an important skill, it is not the only measure of intelligence. There are many other factors that can contribute to a person's overall intelligence, such as creativity, emotional intelligence, and social skills. It is important to remember that everyone has their own unique strengths and weaknesses, and that there is no one-size-fits-all definition of intelligence.中文回答:常言道,不会推理的人是傻瓜。
