国际人口普查英文作文

国际人口普查英文作文

国际人口普查英文作文英文回答:The international population census is an importanttool for governments and organizations to gather data on the population of a country or region. It provides valuable information on various aspects of the population, such as age, gender, education level, occupation, and household income. This data is used for a wide range of purposes, including planning public services, formulating policies, and conducting research. For example, let's consider the case of a government planning to build a new school in a particular area. By analyzing the population census data, they can determine the number of children in that area and their age distribution. This information helps them estimate the future demand for school places and make informed decisions about the size and location of the new school.Another example is the use of population census data in healthcare planning. By understanding the age and gender distribution of the population, healthcare providers can identify specific healthcare needs and allocate resources accordingly. For instance, if the census data shows a high proportion of elderly people in a certain region, the government can prioritize the establishment of nursing homes or geriatric care facilities to meet the demand for specialized care.Furthermore, population census data is crucial for policymaking. Governments can use this data to identify social and economic disparities among different population groups. For instance, if the census data reveals a significant gender wage gap, the government can develop policies and initiatives to address this issue, such as promoting equal pay legislation or providing training and support for women in male-dominated industries.中文回答:国际人口普查是政府和组织收集国家或地区人口数据的重要工具。

与人口普查相关的英语作文1. Well, let's talk about the census. It's basically a population count that happens every few years. People go around asking questions and gathering information about everyone living in a particular area. It's like a big survey, you know?2. So, why do we even bother with a census? Well, it's important for a lot of reasons. First of all, it helps the government plan and allocate resources. They need to know how many people are living in each area to make surethere's enough funding for things like schools, hospitals, and infrastructure.3. Another reason is that the census provides valuable data for researchers and policymakers. It gives them insights into population trends, demographics, and social issues. This information can be used to make informed decisions and develop effective policies to address various challenges.4. Now, let's talk about the questions asked in the census. They cover a wide range of topics, from basic demographic information like age, gender, and race, to more specific details about housing, education, and employment. Some people might find these questions intrusive, butthey're necessary to get a comprehensive picture of the population.5. One important thing to note is that the census is confidential. The information collected is protected by law and cannot be shared with anyone, including other government agencies. This is to ensure people feel comfortable and safe providing accurate information without fear of it being used against them.6. The census is not perfect, though. There are always challenges in accurately counting every single person, especially those living in remote areas or marginalized communities. Efforts are made to reach out to these populations and ensure they are included in the count, but it's not always easy.7. Finally, let's talk about the importance of participating in the census. It's not just a random survey that you can choose to ignore. It's a civic duty and a way to contribute to your community. By participating, you're helping to ensure that resources are allocated fairly and that everyone's voice is heard.8. So, next time you hear about the census, remember that it's not just a bunch of questions. It's a way for the government and society to understand and serve the needs of the population. It's an opportunity for you to make a difference, so don't underestimate its significance.。

Title: The Importance and Key Findings of China's Seventh National CensusChina's Seventh National Census, conducted in late 2020, provides new insights into the country's demographic changes and economic development. The census provides a comprehensive view of the population, family structure, education, employment, migration, and other factors that affect the quality of life and social development in China. This article discusses the key findings from the census and their implications for China's future development.Importance of the CensusThe national census is a critical tool for policymakers and researchers to understand the changing dynamics of the population and society. It provides data that informs policy decisions on economic development, social services, healthcare, education, and other areas. The census also helps to identify areas that require special attention, such as regions with high poverty rates, high population density, or low education levels.Key FindingsPopulation GrowthThe latest census shows that China's population has reached 1.411 billion, an increase of 5.38% from the previous census in 2010. This growth rate is the slowest in China's history, reflecting the impact of the country's aging population, declining fertility rates, and urbanization.Gender and Age DistributionThe census results show that there are now 30 million more men than women in China, with the sex ratio at birth at 111.3 males per 100 females. The aging population is also a major trend, with 264 million people aged 60 and over, accounting for 18.7% of the population. The proportion of the working-age population (aged 16-59) has decreased to 63.3%, down from 70.1% in 2010.UrbanizationChina's urbanization rate has increased to 63.9%, with 236 million people living in cities, up from 52.6% and 200 million in 2010. The growth of megacities with populations of over 10 million has also been a significant trend.EducationThe census also indicates that education levels in China have improved, with 27.4% of thepopulation aged 15 and above having a college education, up from 8.9% in 2010. The proportion of illiterate people has decreased to 2.68%, down from 4.08% in 2010.Implications for China's Future DevelopmentWith an aging population and declining fertility rates, China faces demographic challenges that could strain its social welfare systems, labour force, and economic growth. To address these challenges, the government has implemented policies such as allowing couples to have a third child, increasing support for childcare and eldercare, and extending retirement ages. The slow growth rate and shifting demographics may also have implications for China's economic growth, as the country shifts to a more consumption-driven and service-based economy. Urbanization and the growth of megacities could also pose challenges for providing adequate infrastructure, healthcare, and affordable housing.ConclusionThe seventh national census has provided invaluable insights into China's changing demographics, education levels, and urbanization trends. The findings highlight the need for policymakers to devise effective strategies to address the challenges of an aging population and shifting demographic trends. Overall, the census reaffirms the importance of data-driven policymaking to ensure social and economic development in China.。

In America, the government counts the population every ten years and the latest census was in 20xx. The results of the census show some changes in this country. First, the growth of the population is very slow. It is obvious that the more rich, the less children people want to have, because they want to focus their energy on the career and when they have time, they would rather enjoy the personal hour. Second, the number of immigrants is increasing, which will become the majority of American population. What’s more, the immigrants give birth to children more than the local people do, so it has been predicted that in the future, the gene of blond hair and blue eyes will disappear.译文:人口普查对每个国家都非常重要,它可以显示人口的变化,帮助政府实施一些政策。

关于第六次人口普查英文版

关于第六次人口普查英文版

I will give a specific presentation about the sixth census. My presentation consists of five groups of figures.First, the latest numbers, released on April 28th and based on the nationwide census conducted last year, show a total population for mainland China of 1.34 billion.Second, the numbers revealed a sleep decline in the average annual population growth rate, down to 0.57%, while in the previous decade, the rate was 1.07%.Third, the total fertility rate had been 5.8 in 1950. The rate had declined sharply to 2.3 by 1980. Now the rate is just 1.4. As to fertility rate, there is a standard named replacement. The replacement rate should be 2.1. We can see today’s rate is far below the replacement rate.Forth, people above the age of 60 now represent 13.3% of the total, under the age of 14 declined to 17%. With the development of our country’s economy and health care system, the order can live longer and longer. The more oldgeneration, the less young generation. The whole society is likely to face the ageing of population.Fifth, our country has a traditional gender discrimination. Many families would do whatever they must to ensure that their one permissible child is a son. The new census data show that among newborns, there were more than 118 boys for every 100 girls. These figures imply that in about 20 or 25 years, there will not be enough brides for almost a fifth of today’s baby boys.。

人口问题的英语作文篇1Almost every country in the world faced the population problem.China has the largest population, so the one-child policy was necessay. In America, there were 2 billion people 20 years ago, now there were 3 billion. Some day they will have the same amount people as we had in china, will they apply our population control policyAnyway we could be sure they will not critize our population policy at that time.人口问题的英语作文篇2Nowadays,with the rapid increase of population, the problems of overloading in cities is becoming more and more serious around the world. For instance, the resources such as education, jobs, health care that a city can supply is limited. So more populations mean that everyone living in the city have less welfare. In addition, the phenomenon of pollution can also be aggravating. And the traffic jams will disturb drives frequently. In order to deal with the problems caused by overloading,in my opinion,Lowering the birth rate is the essential methods. On the other hand, another way which is executable to reduce the pressure of population in cities is to move people from cities to suburban areas.Of course, this need the help of governments. In a nutshell,it is time for us to make efforts to control thepopulation timely.人口问题的英语作文篇3It is reported that the world’s population was 6 billio n in the year 2,000, and it is growing faster and faster. The world’s population problem is the greatest one because it brings lots of problems, such as water resources problem, more and more people losing their jobs and so on. These problems are mainly in the developing countries because the population of the developing countries is over 4/ 5 of the world’s popuation. So China, the largest developing country, has kept the policy “one couple, one child.”人口问题的英语作文篇4Nowadays,population as well as environment has become a very important problem. With the development of China ,the population is growing faster and faster, though,Chinese government has put forward strageties, such as ,one child at the same time ,the increase has slown down, which is to our relief. As for the environment, the biggest problem is that people do damage to it and seldome do they ,we would like to say,if they still don·t stop those silly mistakes made to destroy the environment, one day ,human beings will be the last creature in the world. Protect the environment! Our earth is our mother for all of us.人口问题的英语作文篇5It has been estimated that a thousand years ago there were less than 400 million people on earth. Today, however, the world's population has amounted to 5,000 million. What is worse, it keeps growing at a surprising speed. If this trend continues, the world's population will shoot up to 7,000 million by the year 2000.This is what we call population explosion. The rapid development of science and technology is the main cause of population explosion. We can see that the population has been growing at a tremendous speed since the Industrial and Agriculture Revolution in 1650, which raised the people's standard of living, and the emergence of modern medicine in 1550, which lowered the people's death rate.Population explosion will result in a lot of such problems as food shortage, housing shortage and unemployment. It is time that we acted quickly to carry out the policy of birth control otherwise, man's survival on the earth will be threatened.人口问题的英语作文篇6As is known to us,China has the biggest population in the world, which is more than 1,300,000,000.Such a large population causes some problems in cities, that's the unemployment.Too many people gather in cities and the jobs are not enough. Some graduates can't find a job though they have left school for years. In addition, traffic jam is another problem resulting from the big population. There are too many cars on the roads and streets. The situation of the countryside is not good.T oo many people live in the countryside and we don't have enough farm land for them.Fortunately, our government has realized the problems and has attached great importance to them. The government is trying its best to create more jobs and improve traffic systems. Moreover, the one-child policy has helped a lot.人口问题的英语作文篇7The first fifty years of the next millennium will be critical for the world's population. By 2050 population growth should have leveled off, but by then we'll have 10 billion people--two-thirdsas many again as we have today. The rate of population growth is something we can choose right now, though: it's not something that just happens, but a matter of human choice. The choice is a complicated one, with many variables, but it remains a choice. If we want to prevent a population explosion, we should take action now -or assist the poorer countries to do so. They need better government, better institutions, better labor and capital markets, better schools.Anything that increases the value of women's time and adds to the cost of caring for a child makes a woman less likely to have that child. Since big families are often seen as safety nets for illness and old age, improving poor people's access to insurance, pensions and welfare institutions also has a major impact. This can be as simple as rural credit, providing a means of saving. Finally, there is education--both for women and, perhaps even more important, for the next generation of children. These steps are there to be taken, but there appear to be some countries that are not seriously trying at the moment. If we cannot achieve that we will certainly not control population. That said, I don't feel pessimistic that we are going to run out of resources: we are becoming more efficient at producing food faster than the rate at which population is increasing. There is, however, a risk that we will wreck the environment so effectively that the world will no longer be an attractive place to live. That really would be a dismal outcome, to reach world population equilibrium only to find we'd destroyed the natural environment in the process.人口问题的英语作文篇8It is reported that the world’s population was 6 billion in the year 2,000, and it is growing faster and faster. The world’spopulation problem is the greatest one because it brings lots of problems, such as water resources problem, more and more people losing their jobs and so on. These problems are mainly in the developing countries because the population of the developing countrie s is over 4/ 5 of the world’s popuation. So China, the largest developing country, has kept the policy one couple, one child.人口问题的英语作文篇9China has become a country with an increasing number of old people. By old people we usually mean persons over the age of sixty. We often call them senior citizens instead of old men to show our respect. Most senior citizens retire or no longer work full-time. They usually live in their own houses not far from their children's, while the children of a few senior citizens have gone abroad and work or study far beyond the oceans. For certain senior citizens, tile years after retirement are not very enjoyable. First, they feel that their lives lose meaning for being at home all day. In addition, they may feel lonely, especially those without children around. Moreover, they become more concerned with their health, as they grow older, and worry a lot about their safety. At the same time, many senior citizens enjoy their lives. They feel free to do things they were not able to do when they were working and raising their families. They spend their time travelling, doing exercises or watching TV. They get together with their fellow members who have the common interests and equal free time.In fact, there are some still continuing their work, not just for money, but to show their value. However, no one really wants to be old, and perhaps all like to be young forever.人口问题的英语作文篇10Many countries will experience aging populations in the next century because of declining birth and mortality rates. China will soon join their ranks. According to statistics, the aging of China's population will approach its peak by the middle of the next century, with the percentage of the people aged beyond 60 making up 27.4 percent of the total. That means one out of every four people will be elderly. As for the issue of aging, its situation has been growing increasingly severe in spite of the fact most people are still ignorant of the problems it brings about. Firstly, with families becoming smaller and living , it is even graver for families to care for aged members adequately. Secondly, aging causes a relative decline in working force in that fewer people have to support the increasing aged people. Consequently, the productivity of the whole society is affected to some extent. Thirdly and most importantly, the aging of population in China resulted from the successful implementation of family planning has not been synchronized with national economic progress. The rapidity of the population's aging has made it more urgent for the adoption of countermeasures. No doubt they key is to build a solid economic foundation. Meanwhile, importance shall be attached to overall changing the backward situation in social security, welfare and service. What's more, family care and community services shall also be encouraged.人口问题的英语作文篇11Almost every country in the world faced the population problem.China has the largest population, so the one-child policy was necessay. In America, there were 200 million people 20 years ago, now there were 300 million. Some day they will have thesame amount people as we had in china, will they apply our population control policy? Anyway we could be sure they will not critize our population policy at that time.几乎世界上的每个国家都面临着人口问题。

【范文一】关于人口问题的英语作文It is reported that the world’s population was 6 billion in the year 2,000, and it is growing faster and faster. The world’s population problem is the greatest one because it brings lots of problems, such as water resources problem, more and more people losing their jobs and so on. These problems are mainly in the developing countries because the population of the developing countries is over 4/ 5 of the world’s popuation. So China, the largest developing country, has kept the policy “one couple, one child.”【范文二】关于人口问题的英语作文As is known to us,China has the biggest population in the world, which is more than 1,300,000,000.Such a large population causes some problems in cities, that's the unemployment.Too many people gather in cities and the jobs are not enough. Moreover, the one-child policy has helped a lot.look at your watch for just one minuite.During that time,The popuiation of the world increased by 259.Perhaps you think that is notmuch.Hoever, during the next hour,over15540 more babies will be born on the world. So it goes on,hour after hour.In oneday, people have to produce food fover 370000 more mouths.Multiply this by365.justthink how many more there will be in one year! What will happen in a hundred years? The increasing population may be the greatest challenge of the world today. The world's population is growing faster and faster. Two thousang years ago, there only 250millon people on the earth. At the beining of the20thcentury,the world'spopulation was about 1.7billion.In 1990,it reached more than five billion. Now at the beininjg of the 21stcentthe world's population has passed six billion.people say that by the yeay 2010it may be seven billion. That means in about 600 years, there will br standing room only on the earth. Each person will have one half to one square metre of space to live in.There will be hardly enough space ror angbody else.【范文三】关于人口问题的英语作文The first fifty years of the next millennium will be critical for the world's population. By 2050 population growth should have leveled off, but by then we'll have 10 billion people--two-thirds as many again as we have today. The rate of population growth is something we can choose right now, though: it's not something that just happens, but a matter of human choice. The choice is a complicated one, with many variables, but it remains a choice. If we want to prevent a population explosion, we should take action now -or assist the poorer countries to do so. They need better government, better institutions, better labor and capitalmarkets, better schools.Anything that increases the value of women's time and adds to the cost of caring for a child makes a woman less likely to have that child. That really would be a dismal outcome, to reach world population equilibrium only to find we'd destroyed the natural environment in the process.。

The growth of population during the past few centuries is no proof that population will continue to grow straight upward toward infinity and doom. On the contrary, demographic history offers evidence that population growth has not been at all constant. According to paleoecologist Edward Deevey, the past million years show three momentous changes. The first, a rapid increase in population around one m illion B. C., followed the innovations of tool making and tool using. But when the new power from the use of tools has been exploited, the rate of world population growth fell and became almost stable. The next rapid jump in population started perhaps 10,000 years ago, when mankind began to keep herds, plow and plant the earth. Once again when initial productivity gains had been absorbed, the rate of population growth abated. These two episodes suggest that the third great change, the present rapid growth, which began in the West between 250 and 350 years ago, may also slow down when, or if, technology begins to yield fewer innovations. Of course, the current knowledge revolution may continue without foreseeable end. Either way - contrary to popular belief in constant geometric growth - population can be expected in the long run to adjust to productivity. And when one takes this view, population growth is seen to represent economic progress and human triumph rather than social failure.
