对话双方:Interviewer (I)面试官Applicant (A)求职者。
例1:Q:Would you please say something about yourself?(请你谈谈自己的情况好吗?) 或者:What can you tell me about yourself?(关于你自己,你能告诉我些什么?) A:Do you want me to talk about my personal life or to say something about the job?(你想让我谈谈我个人的生活呢,还是与这份工作有关的问题?)
1. Are you capable of doing this job2. Can you fit in this team3. What value can you bring4. Do you want this job五大高频问题1. Why did you apply for this jobTips:
2. What can you do for us that someone else cannot= Tell me something makes you different/special from other candidates= Why should I hire you?
3. Why do you want to work for us= Why do you want to work here?= What do you know about our company/organization/culture
4. Can you tell us a little more about your experience at XXXX company?
5. What is your salary range?
In preparing, you need to think about two things. First of all, yourself. What’s really important to you and what kind of skills have you got that you can offer an employer? The other side of preparation is researching the employer. We expect you to have been on the web and done some research. And the candidate who really stands out is the candidate actually who’s gone one step further. They may, for example, have downloaded a copy of our annual report and be able to talk about that. They may actually have sought out somebody who works at KPMG and chatted to them about the job and the careers service at the university will help them with that kind of thing.
What’s really important is that you talk about yourselfand your contribution. So let’s take something like a team project. Yeah, it’s good to introduce it and say “I was a member of a five-man team doing this” but what we really want to know is what difference did you make to that team? Because it’s you that we’re interested in, it’s your skills that we need to know about, because we’re recruiting you, not the team.

You need to know whois going to conduct the interview. Is it going to be agroup interview, a rotation or just a preliminary interview? When, where, who, how? It could be very much different in proceeding, contents and manners. So, study your opponent, and be prepared. Prior prepare will prevent poor performance. 1. Be Professional, 2. Result or data driven, 3. Strengthen your points by good examples, 4. Show your Team player spirit. 5. Respect the corporate pyramid, 6. Be aggressive and sensitive at the same time. 7. study the business and product line of the pany, 8 get familiar with your resume.1. Be Professional.个人要职业化, 面试要严肃, 不能东拉西扯, 如果是市场, 营销, 公关, you better put smile into your voice, which does not mean you have to laugh while you are talking. Be professional, 就是让人感觉你是个外观, 谈吐, 思想都很与公司节奏, 文化一致的人, 而不可能在公司做出格的事情, 如sexual harassment, indecent jokes, inappropriate representation of the pany’s brand image and customer service, etc.2. Result or data driven. Strengthen your points by good examples.Professionals in MNC do not like words without ground, if you tell them you have such and such capabilities to aomplish such and such, they will wonder, “on what ground?” 你说有, 给个例子先, for example:When I was in college, I always have a burning desire to serve the munity. After I demonstrated my organization skills and people managerial skills, I had been suessfully elected to be the chair of the student union.(吹牛不上税, 这个没人会查, 但是你得自圆其说), During my session, I have suessfully led a team and launched a few activities such as fund raising for the Project of Hope, and organizing a trip to Tibet to study the ecosystem of the plateau.比拟厉害的面试者会追问, “Have you ever encountered a situation that your team members disagree with you and you have difficulties to persuade them? If you believe your opinions are correct, how do you influence them?” 4. Show your team player spirit. WE can not recruit the smartest people, but we will try to recruit the people we love most and the people love us most. 那么美国人非常看中团队精神, they like you to evolve into team sports, such as football, basket ball, swimming team, etc. 深层次的含义是, you are a team player that can be coached. When you are told to do so, do not ask why, pany means a group of people organized by a charter to achieve return on investment or profit, sometimes your manager has no obligation or time to tellyou why you need to get your ass down there or why you need to do such shit things.Team player no only means you need to listen to whatthe management tells you, but also back up your team members or your coworkers. Don’t forget to use examples to give your point more credit.思考题: your interviewer ask you, “if your manager have a disagreement with you on an issue, and youdefinitely believe your thought is correct, will you discuss this with your manager? And how would you approach to that?”5. Respect your corporate pyramidThey said western countries are democratic, but the MNCs of democratic countries are definitely a Battalion in an Army. 官大一级压死人, you never have a fight with the person who make the paycheck to you. Your interviewer ask you, “if your manager have a disagreement with you on an issue, and you definitely believe your thought is correct, will you discuss this with your manager? And how would you approach to that?” 最好的方法是先肯定提问者的问题, “That is a good question, the situation you have described might happen on a regular basis.” (马屁要不断拍)“If I have a disagreement with my manager, what I would like to do is to carefully analyze the situation. Most of the oasions, I believe my manager has more experience and he is located on a higher horizon in the pany to take more factors into consideration, his decisionmaking should be based on a more solid foundation than mine. Therefore I will follow what he told us to make sure thejob gets done in a timely fashion.” America is a verbal country, people judge you by the vocabulary you are using. 6. Aggressive vs sensitiveAggressive sometimes means being tough in a corporate culture. 常见问题是“What is your 5 year plan in your career objective?” 7. Study the website and the product line of the pany. 使人家相信, 你与这个公司是最好的双向选择.“XYZ pany is a leading manufacturer of telemunication infrastructures that has 50 years of excellence ininnovation to serve the mankind, and I believe my expertise in telemunication architect will certainly contribute to the products and services of XYZ pany to lead the technical development trend….And I will feel very f ulfilled and proud to contribute to this fast paced and multi-tasking team…..the corporate culture of XYZ pany is exactly what I have been expecting and I believe I will find a niche in this organization since XYZ pany always encourages innovation, continu ed learning and …..”8. get familiar with your resume!70% of the questions will be originated from your resume hardcopy holding by the recruiter! So don’t get too surprised if they ask you “your resume mentioned that you have lead a project in ABC pany for an embedded software in some processors, can you elaborate a little about that?”WOW! 或者, “You said that you have experience in J2EE, (Jave 2 enterprise edition), can you tell me what is the major features and benefit o f J2EE?” 90%.1. Please briefly describe yourself2. Please tell us what are your strengths and what you need to improve.3. What is the reason you choose to leave your current pany? What makes you to apply for this job.5. What skills or expertise do you possess to aomplish the assignment of this job6. Do you like to work under pressure? How do you handle multi-tasking?。

Hellen liu女士举了一个例子,很多面试者都被问到:“What are your weaknesses?”,即“你有哪些弱点”这样的。

1. "What can you tell me about yourself"The following is a good example of a positive response. "In high school I was involved in competitive sports and I always tried to improve in each sport I participated in. As a college student, I worked in a clothing store part-time and found that I could sell things easily. The sale was important, but for me, it was even more important to make sure that the customer was satisfied. It was not long before customers came back to the store and specifically asked for me to help them. I’m very competitive and it means a lot to me to be the best.""
1. So, tell me a little about yourself.Don't discuss your goals for returning to school or having a family, they are not relevant and could knock you out of contention for the job. Rather, you want to connect your answer to the job you are applying for.最佳答案* My long-term goals involve growing with a company where I can continue to learn, take on additional responsibilities, and contribute as much of value as I can.* I see myself as a top performing employee in a well-established organization, like this one. I plan on enhancing my skills and continuing my involvement in (related) professional associations.* Once I gain additional experience, I would like to move on from a technical position to management.* In the XYZ Corporation, what is a typical career path for someone with my skills and experiences? Tell me about yourself/ How would you describe yourself? You walk into the interview room, shake hands with your interviewer and sit down with your best interviewing smile on. Guess what their first question is? "Tell me about yourself." Your interviewer is not looking for a 10-minute dissertation here. Instead, offer a razor sharp sentence or two that sets the stage for further discussion and sets you apart from your competitors.Your Unique Selling Proposition (USP)说出你的卖点Give them "your synopsis about you" answer, specifically your Unique Selling Proposition. Known as a personal branding or a value-added statement, the USP is a succinct, one-sentence description of who you are, your biggest strength and the major benefit that a company will derive from this strength. Here is an example of a Unique Selling Proposition: "I'm a seasoned Retail Manager strong in developing training programs and loss prevention techniques that have resulted in revenue savings of over $2.3Million for (employer's name) during the past 11 years."What a difference you've made with this statement. Your interviewer is now sitting forward in her chair giving you her full attention. At this point, you might add the following sentence: "I'd like to discuss how I might be able to do something like that foryou." The ball is now back in her court and you have the beginnings of a real discussion and not an interrogation process.“My background to date has been centered around preparing myself to become the very best financial consultant I can become. Let me tell you specifically how I've prepared myself. I am an undergraduate student in finance and accounting at _________ University. My past experiences has been in retail and higher education. Both aspects have prepared me well for this career.” Do they want to know about your career so far, about your hobbies or family life? If in doubt, ASK them to clarify what they wish you to talk about. Then give a short factual answer, ending with "is there anything else you'd like to know about me?"* How would you describe yourself? Try to think about what the interviewers are looking for and keep this in mind as you answer interview questions. Remember the job advert? Were they looking for initiative, a good communicator, someone with good attention to detail? Describe yourself in these terms. Start with "I am.." and not with "I think..." or "I believe.." so that you sound self aware and confident.-----------------------------------------------------------When you're interviewing for an internal position within your company, you may be asked what you will do if you don't get the job. The interviewer wants to know whether you are concerned about just the advancement opportunity or the company.
1. What’s the meaning of your English name? Actually, Sushi is my nickname. My friends gave me this name because I like to eat the Japanese food sushi.
1: As a matter of fact, Sushi is a nickname my friends gave me, because I like sushi and like to make sushi. I can make about ten different kinds of sushi! My friends say that my personality is a bit like sushi, simple but good, hehe.
2: The name King may sound a bit aggressive, I hope it won’t make you feel unfortable. As a matter of fact, I chose the name King simply because it sounds like my Chinese name Jing. But, there is also a hidden meaning in it, that is, I wish to conquer diseases like a King!
What do you want to know about me?
This shows that you havent properly prepared for the interview.
The interviewer doesnt want to know about your hobbies, your family, or even your favorite TV show.
The biggest mistake that many job candidates make is thinking that the interviewer wants to know about them personally.
The interviewer is interested in understanding whether you can do the job.
Whether or not you would fit into the team or culture of the organization.

对话双方:Interviewer (I)面试官Applicant (A)求职者。
例1:Q:Would you please say something about yourself?(请你谈谈自己的情况好吗?)
或者:What can you tell me about yourself?(关于你自己,你能告诉我些什么?)
A:Do you want me to talk about my personal life or to say something about the job?
2:I:Give me a summary of your current job description.
)
A:I have been working as a computer programmer for five years. To be specific, I do system analysis, trouble shooting and provide software support.
)
3:Why should I hire you?(为什么我应该聘用你?)
A:With my strong academic background, I am capable and competent.
)
例4:Why do you want to work for us?(你为什么想为我们工作?)
A:One reason that I would like to be employed with your firm is that you are
dealing with import and export trade. I would look
5:What goals have you set and how did you meet them?
A:I now wish to enter an office where the work requires greater individual responsibility and judgment than here, and where there is more opportunity for advancement.
)
6:I:What provide you with a sense of accomplishment.(什么会让你有成就感?)
A:Doing my best job for your company.
)
例7:I:How do you handle your failure?(你怎样对待自己的失敗?) A:None of us was born “perfect”. I am sure I will be given a second chance to correct my mistake.
)
例8:I:How do you normally handle criticism?(你通常如何处理別人的批评?)
A:Silence is golden. Just don’t say anything; otherwise the situation could become worse. I do, however, accept constructive criticism.
9:I:What is most important in your life right now?(眼下你生活中最重要的是什么?)
A:To get a job in my field is most important to me. To secure employment h[1] [2] [3] 下一页
