Her feathers were as white as snow, and her beak was as red as a rose. She used to glide through the water with such ease that everyone in the lake admired her.One day, a group of young ducks came to the lake. They were amazed by the beauty of the swan. They had never seen such a beautiful creature in their lives. They decided to approach the swan and make friends with her. But the swan was too proud and refused to talk to them. The ducks were disappointed. They thought the swan was too arrogant and didn't want to be friends with anyone. But they didn't give up. They kept trying to talk to her, and finally, the swan agreed to talk to them.As they got to know each other, the swan realized that the ducks were kind-hearted and friendly. She regretted her earlier behavior and decided to be friends with them. The ducks were happy to have the swan as their friend. One day, a hunter came to the lake. He wanted to catch some ducks for his dinner. The ducks were frightened and didn't know what to do. But the swan came up with a plan. He aimed his gun at her, but before he could shoot, the swan flew away. The hunter was so amazed by the swan's flight that he forgot about the ducks. The ducks were safe, and they thanked the swan for her bravery. From that day on, the swan and the ducks became the best of friends. They would swim together, play together, and protect each other from any danger. The swan learned that true beauty lies in kindness and humility. She realized that her pride had almost cost her the friendship of the ducks. But she was grateful that she had a chance to make amends and become friends with them.In the end, the swan and the ducks lived happily ever after, enjoying each other's company and the beauty of the tranquil lake.。

beautiful swan作文

beautiful swan作文Every time I go to the zoo,I always go against the flow of people. As soon as I enter the gate,I turn left and visit my favorite big bird, swan,in twos and threes. On Wednesday,my grandparents and I went to the park to see the animals.Today, the red sun just rose in the East, and the lake turned red.A pair of swans swam around, flapping their wings freely and dancing in the red sun.The swan is very beautiful with white feathers. They swam quietly and slowly on the lake. They moved their goose paws, and the scales on the lake were shining. Its elegant figure, like a pair of dancers in a duet, reminds me of thepoem"goose, goose, goose".Highly praised for the goose, the swan is as beautiful and lovely as the goose.Sometimes tired,it will climb up the bank to rest under the willow, the willow branches are gently blown by the wind, the willow wire shakes, and the Swan sleeps with his eyes closed.I love swan.Swan is a symbol of beauty. It is white and flawless.参考译文:每次去动物园,我总是逆人流,一进大门,就往左拐,三三两两去看望我最喜爱的大鸟——天鹅。

英语作文thebeautifulswan

英语作文thebeautifulswan

英语作文thebeautifulswan篇一On the afternoon of the third day of the first lunar month,my grandfather and I happily went to see the swans. When we just walked to the Swan Lake,we heard a loud geese call not far away,as if the swans were in a concert, scrambling to be louder and louder than whoever called. When we walked to the Swan Lake Scenic Area,we found that although there were few people watching the swans, the swans welcomed us in groups. The white swans are dressed in snow-white clothes, and their feathers are as soft and white as cotton. It has red eyes and along, flat, and very hard mouth. Its neck is thin and long, giving it an elegant look.According to my observation, swans like to live together in groups of three or five. When they sleep, they hide their long necks and heads under their wings;when they fly, they tuck their legs under their tails, and when they land, they drop their legs into the water first so they can fly faster.safer.They usually call as they fly, with a sonorous and powerful voice,as if they are flying higher than each other and who is flying faster.Swans eat not only fish and shrimp, but also whole grains, and sometimes plants such as aquatic plants. There are staff in Swan Lakefeeding the white swans and putting corn on the Swan Lake regularly. As soon as the staff blows the whistle, the swans will eat corn one after another. As soon as they start eating, the swans will chirp loudly,as if saying,"I want to eat,I want to eat."By watching white swans,I feel that white swans are very beautiful, they are good friends of human beings, and each of us should protect white swans.篇二See it in the swamp-the beautiful swan. When I first saw it,I was so stunned that I was afraid that my breath would disturb it.I stared at it and wondered in my heart how beautiful it was—white and light. The ordinary lubricating feathers of white porcelain do not have a trace of impurities,as if a thick ink is splashed on it,it will roll down completely, and it will not be stained at all.It floats leisurely on the water, motionless,as if listening,as if thinking.Perhaps no bird can have such a personality, its beauty iscommon-arrogance,innocence,demure,blackened swamp The earth cannot destroy this beauty, nor can the withered reeds make it less graceful.I don't know if its white cloud-like wings illuminate the water,or the black water highlights the holy white.I finally saw with my own eyes that there is such a white thing in the world. But I suddenly haddisbelief, disbelief that swans would be connected with the swamp.I'm guessing it might be a stray goose from a livestock team.but not.He himself informed me that it was indeed a swan,a true swan--he lifted his slender neck and looked out over the far-reaching autumn fields. It seemed to pay no attention to the black underfoot.。

When the sun began to shine warmly again, the duckling was in a marsh, lying among the rushes. The larks were singing, and the beautiful spring had e. Then all at once, it raised its wings and they flapped with much greater strength than before and bore him off vigorously. They saw him anddarted toward him with ruffled feathers. “Kill me, oh, kill me.” said the poor creature. And bowing his head towards the water, he awaited his death. But what did he see? The beautiful swan小学四年级作文On my visit to the Zoo their were many interesting animals that grabbed my attention. The first animal was the Black Necked Swan which is also known by its scientific name Cygnus Melan Coryphus. This bird appeared to be very comfortable in its new environment at the Zoo. Their were two of these magnificent birds for me to observe. Both of them had snow white bottoms, with dark black necks and a red orange colored bill. The male swan is known as a cob and the female a pen, the males are usually a bit larger than the females. The areas of origin are in open lakes and marsh lands in the Southern parts of South America, including Chile, Argentina, and Falkland Islands. The black necked swan feeds on Aquatic plants in the zoo, and as wild swan they typically feed on vegetation, insects, and fish spawn. The black necked swan is not in any danger of being extinct. The swans seem to some how stay close to each other and their behavior was calm. I find the black neck on the swan to be very interesting, I had never known of a black necked swan until my recent visit to the zoo. The swan's neck was very long it seems at times to wrap around the bottom of its body, as it dives its head into the pond.2、Today I visited the zoo with several classmates. We went on foot. It was half an hour’s walk. When we got there, the zoo was already full of people. There are many animals in the zoo. They were very interesting, but we were especially interested in monkeys. They made all kinds of faces and we also talked with some foreign guests in English. It was time for lunch when we got home. I really had a wonderful time today.。

丑小鸭白天鹅英语作文

丑小鸭白天鹅英语作文

丑小鸭白天鹅英语作文The Ugly Duckling's Transformation into a Beautiful SwanOnce upon a time, in a cozy farmyard, there lived a family of ducks. Among them was a peculiar-looking duckling, whose appearance was strikingly different from his siblings. While they were all fluffy and yellow, this little one was a dull, grayish-brown color, with an awkward, lanky frame. The other ducklings would often tease and mock him, calling him "ugly" and "strange." They would push him aside, refusing to play with him or let him join their group. The poor duckling felt so out of place and unwanted, that he would often wander off on his own, longing for a sense of belonging. One day, as the duckling was exploring the nearby pond, he encountered a group of magnificent, snow-white swans. Captivated by their graceful movements and elegant appearance, the duckling couldn't help but stare in awe. He desperately wished he could be as beautiful and admired as they were.Sadly, the swans noticed the odd-looking duckling and, mistakinghim for one of their own, began to chase him away, honking and flapping their wings aggressively. The duckling, feeling even more dejected, fled in terror, convinced that he would never be accepted by the beautiful creatures. As the seasons changed, the duckling grew larger and his appearance began to transform. His dull feathers molted, and in their place, emerged a stunning, pure-white plumage. His long, gangly neck became more graceful, and his movements grew more fluid and elegant. One day, as the duckling was drinking from the pond, he caught a glimpse of his reflection and was stunned by what he saw. He no longer saw the awkward, unattractive creature he had once been, but a magnificent, swan-like bird staring back at him.Filled with a newfound confidence and self-acceptance, the once-ugly duckling spread his wings and took to the skies, soaring high above the farmyard. The other ducks, who had once mocked and shunned him, now watched in awe and amazement, unable to believe that this beautiful swan was the same creature they had once despised. As the swan gracefully glided through the air, he felt a sense of freedom and belonging that he had never experienced before. Herealized that his journey of transformation had not only changed his physical appearance but had also strengthened his inner spirit and self-worth.From that day on, the swan became a symbol of resilience, self-acceptance, and the power of transformation. His story inspired others to embrace their unique qualities and to never give up on their dreams, no matter how daunting they may seem. The moral of this timeless tale is that true beauty lies not in the physical appearance, but in the strength of one's character and the resilience of the human (or in this case, the avian) spirit. The ugly duckling's journey teaches us that with patience, self-belief, and the courage to embrace our differences, we can all blossom into the beautiful swans we were meant to be.。

Among them was a little duckling who was quite different from his siblings. While the others had sleek and shiny feathers, he was scruffy and gray, earning him the name "Ugly Duckling."The Ugly Duckling was often teased by the other ducklings for his appearance, causing him great sadness. He would spend hours gazing at his reflection in the lake, wishing he could be as beautiful as the other ducks. One day, a magnificent swan flew into the garden, captivating everyone with its grace and beauty. It supports dream. In fact, no trajectory fate lies in the realm of beautiful, beautiful pursuit of ideals. The frustration and pain of life is inevitable, they should learn to walk the feet. Every child will have a dream of their own, as long as they learn to establish life goals, self-confidence, self-improvement, Independence grow up, they will really struggle through the original can also become aware of their "white swan" like the ugly duckling can achieve the same dream in the heart After reading THE UGLY DUCK,I have a lot to say. In the story, the ugly duck lost his self-confidence.But after having a talk with the old duck,he became confident. At last,he even turned into a beautiful swan. If we do not have a pretty appearance,we can also be successful in the future. We can even go beyond others. When we are trapped,we should not lose our confidence but raise our heads and believe succeis waiting for us. The author pays homage to Hans Christian Andersen‘s compassionate tale with this faithful adaptation. Kids can relate to the duckling‘s dilemma; part of the growing-up proceis pulling away from those around you and developing a strong sense of self. Children have also witnessed or experienced the teasing that is part and parcel of childhood. This agelestory speaks acrogenerations with its reaffirming message. In this age of instant gratification, Andersen‘s tale reminds readers that some things are worth waiting for and that a pleasure deferred (whether by choice or necessity) is often the sweetest one of all. Pinkney‘s descri ptive passages resonate with the splendor of nature‘s beauty. The glowing watercolors, filled with intricate details, make each blade of gravisible, and the delicately drawn, nearly transparent mosquitoes are as ethereal asthey are in life. The subtle details incorporated into the scenes--a frog catching a passing fly at the pond and a tiny mouse perched by a crate in the old woman‘s cottage--make children take another look. One day he heard a sound of whirring wings, and up in the air he saw a flock of birds flying high. They were as bright as the snow that had fallen during the night, and their long necks were stretched southward. Oh, if only he could go with them! But what sort of companion could he be to those beautiful beings? ‘I am too ugly even for a dog to eat,‘ the duckling thought. Jerry Pinkney‘s poignant text and rich artwork convey the timeleappeal of this tale of hardship and redemption. Anyone who has suffered the sting of ostracism can sympathize。
