What it is;If you asked me to describe a little expensive sport I prefer to do, I’d say horse-riding. Coz, you know, it looks so exciting. In fact, it’s something I’ve always wanted to try but have never gotten around to doing anything about it. But just recently my friend and I were talking about this and we found some pretty good resorts in Shanghai. How much it usually costs; There are many horse riding stables or clubs you could find over the Internet. We started searchingin Smartshanghai, then we found one place called Sun Island Resorts, a leisure and wellness resort destination(度假胜地), is located just outside of Shanghai city. They provide visitors international standard(国际标准的)facilities and hire experienced instructors. So, as for the price, well, it is a bit expensive than football. For just learning how to ride, I’ll say we need at least 8-10 lesson for basic riding skills, like walking(行走)and trotting(小跑). Although there are packages I can purchase, it still costs me average 350rmb per hour. Some other extra fees(其他花费), one night in a hotel, safety equipment, food and drink expenses will also be added. In total, a 2-day horse riding trip may cost me around 1000 RMB.Who you usually do it with;I normally go with my friends who’re also into horse-riding, or with my parents, who can do some other activities there. The Wellness Research Centre(健康研究中心)on the island offers some Traditional Chinese Medicine spa treatments(温泉疗养)and wellness programme such as yoga and meditation(冥想). The resorts also have a smaller organic Farm(有机农场), with a lake for fishing and picking your own vegetables.and explain why you like to do this activity.I guess one reason is just simply because it’s truly “interact” with the great outdoors. You can feel the air, smell the foliage(落叶), and see nature’s beauty. It’s a perfect escape from the busy streets of Shanghai. Plus, I believe horse riders are extremely fit, they use muscles all through their legs, back, arms, etc. Not to mention (更不用说。

这是一本厚厚的,真实的书,讲述了许多不同的主题。
它实际上是一组与我们的私人生活有关的信息和轶事,过去和如今。
One of the books that I have recently read is called At Home: A ShortHistory of Private Life by an author called Bill Bryson. It is a thick, factualbookabout many different subjects. It is really a collection of information andanecdotes related to our private lives, past and present. The book is mainly about things that have been included in our homes overthe centuries. The author started out by wondering about the history ofeverything in his own home. As it is a factual book rather than a novel, it doesnot have a plot as such. Each chapter in the book covers the history of aparticular room. For exle, the chapter on the kitchen talks about the historyof running water, electricity, gas cooking and so on. The chapter aboutthebathroom looks at the history of plumbing, sanitation and privacy. Thebookcontains so much interesting information that I think I will have to read itagain in order to take it all in.As to the kind of people who would enjoy it, I think anybody who isinterested in history and enjoys learning lots of interesting facts would enjoyreading this book. It would also appeal to a busy person, as it’s a good book todip in and out of, because you don’t have to follow a story, as you would with anovel. You can just take it chapter by chapter, or even page by page, as thereis something to learn on every page. Each chapter is written like a story, eventhough it is a factual book, so it takes the reader to all sorts of unexpectedplaces, and for me it was a real page-turner.I like this book because I learned such a huge amount from it, which hasmade me look around my own home with different eyes and appreciate just how farwe have e in a short space of time in terms of architecture, technology, lighting, fort and many other things.雅思口语part2话题卡参考范文:描绘一本让人振奋的书(Describe an exciting book you have read)You should say:What is the name of the bookwhat type of book it ishow you knew this bookand explain why you like to remend this book to your friend1.适用人群:全适用2.主题:小木马的冒险3.故事线:它实际上是一本儿童读物,我想它一定是由我的父母为我挑选的。

雅思口语part2话题高分篇五Describe a visitor in your homeYou should say:Who was this visitorWhen did he/she visit your homeWhy did he/she come to visitAnd explain whether you like him/her or not雅思口语8分范文:I’m going to talk about an occasion when a very close friend of mine visited where I live.He is a Chinese person. His real name is Xin Lin, but we usuallycall him by his English name, which is Steven. He was studying in the same university with me in England when we did our Master’s last year, and we both lived in the same flat in the university halls of residence. We were so close with each other because we spent a lot of time cooking and talking with each other, but we have n’t met for a few months since we left England. So the occasion was a month ago when he visited Vietnam to travel. He had never been to my country although China is right next to Vietnam. So, he decided to come to my country to visit me.We were really excited to meet each other again, and he was excited as well to come to my house for the first time. I invited him for dinner, and I myself cooked something very special for him, which was a traditional Vietnamese dish. We talked a lot during the meal, and we reminded each other of the memories we shared in England.I was very happy when Steven came to see me. The reason is because we had not had a chance to see each other for a long time, and you know, it always feels good seeing an old friend. The occasion brought back a lot of good memories that I think I can never forget. PART 3题目及参考答案1. In your country, how do people treat visitors?I think people in my country are generally very hospitable, and they are usually very welcoming when having visitors. They would usually be willing to invite visitors to have dinner, especially if the person is a close friend or a relative.2. Do you think hospitality is less important than it was in the past?I do not think so. I believe it has always been important for people to be friendly and welcoming to people visiting their houses. It is even more crucial to behave properly with visitors coming from other countries such as tourists, because the way local people treat tourists can have a great effect on the image of a country. So, I think hospitality is as important today as it was in the past.3. What are the benefits of staying with a friend when visiting a new place?Well, the biggest advantage is that you can save money when staying in a friend’s house. This is because it is usually expensive when staying in hotels. Another benefit is that when you stay with your friend when coming to a new place, your journey is likely to be more interesting and enjoyable. If you stay alone, you might get bored and lonely.4. What are the advantages of staying in a hotel instead? It would be more convenient to stay in a hotel, I guess. Hotels are usually located close to the main tourist attractions of a city, so it will be less time-consuming if travellers choose a hotel. Also, you can receive good services from the hotel. For example, you can have free breakfast ready in the morning, while you will need to spend time cooking when you stay with a friend.雅思口语话题part2高分范文之城市角落(a place in your city you want to go to)Describe a place in your city you want to go toYou should say:What is this placeWhere is this placeWhy you like this placeAnd explain what do you want to do there1-4月雅思口语新题part2范文之:城市角落(a place in your city youwant to go to)There are lots of places I like to go, depending on my mood. Today ‘though, I’m going to tell you about a special place near to where I live. I will explain where it is and how I get there. I will try and describe what it looks like and explain why I like the location so much.I am lucky, although I live in a city, from my house I can walk to the edges of the Peak District, which is a beautiful national park just a few miles from the city centre. To get to the national park I have to walk from my house down some local roads, and up a steep hill past some allotments. After about a mile or so striding out away from the urban areas, I get to a lovely bit of woodland which has a public footpath you can follow on wards and upwards. It can be a bit of a scramble towards the end of the path as it is very steep indeed, but eventually, you leave the woodland and are on the edge of open farmland. Another footpath crosses some sheep-filled fields, and finally, you are on the moors of the Peak District. It is really spectacular. The Peak District can be a really wild place, with its vast expanses of open moorland. You are high up, and it is quite exposed so it can be very windy and cold even in the summer. There are rocky outcrops and strange configurations of stones that have been weathered by centuries of wind and rain to create dramatic shapes. Some boulders are in piles, and there are steep vertical cliffs too. The area attracts lots of people who like walking, climbing and bouldering because of its unique and beautiful landscape. Everywhere is dark wet peat underfoot and lots of heathers. This is a low growing plant that flowers at the end of the summer turning the wholelandscape purple. The park covers a huge area, I think around 555 square miles, so the terrain differs from area to area, of course, I am biased, but I believe I live near the most remarkably beautiful part.I love this place, because if ever I am feeling down, or a bit enclosed, in just an hours walk I can find myself in a deserted but picturesque place, where the elements are more extreme. In winterrain and wind can batter you, but in summer the sky seems to go on forever. Every day is different up there, and every hour of every day too. The area is so huge, that often you can have it all to yourself, of course, there are other walkers about, but you can quickly disappear in the vastness of the space. The people who live in Sheffield, like me, are very proud that we are so near to the Peak District National Park, and it is no surprise it became the United Kingdom's first national park on 17 April 1951. A birthday that should be celebrated I think!PART 31. The real summer in Canada lasts only two months, July and August. During these two months, thetemperature climbs above 20 and it's always sunny. The trees become green again and the whole city is full of various flowers. Day timeis longer and night time is shorter. Most time we have sunlight until 10 in the evening. The reason that I like summer is because summer time is the best season for outdoor activities. I love hiking, jogging, and biking. I can go to national parks or city parks easily in summer. Summer gives me so much fun.Just like what I've said, I love hiking, jogging, and biking in summer. I still remember I went to different national parks last summer for hiking. I saw beautiful lakes and mountains. I even encountered a bear looking for food, which was pretty amazing experience.Weather may affect people' choice of activities. It's warm outside in summer, so more people will choose outdoor activities. We always have more music festivals or food festivals in summer. Winter is super cold in Canada. People would like to stay home instead of going outside.雅思口语话题part2精选高分篇六Describe a person that you want to know more aboutWho is he or she? When did you meet this person?Where have you met? What did you do?Why do you want to know more about him or her?雅思口语part2高分话题范文参考:想认识的人(Describe a person that you want to know more about)I love to meet new people. Today, I would like to talk about acharismatic person I met a year ago.Last year I was going to Mumbai by train for an official meeting. On the way, a young lady boarded the train from a small railway station. She occupied the seat in front of me. Very soon we started talking about our hobbies, studies and work etc. Her name was Sukriti Singh. She was a second-year student of the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai. One particular thing which made her quite special was her high confidence level. Normally, girls don’t travel alone in my country. In most cases, they are accompanied by their parents or some other family member. But, since she was on her own, that clearly reflected her boldness.I found this girl very interesting. Her in-depth knowledge of latest technology and space science made me re-think about my opinion about females. I used to think that Indian women are only interested in fashion. Science is not their cup of tea. But, this meeting was a real mind-changer. She helped open my eyes towards the commonattitude of ignorance males have towards females regarding their intelligence. Now, I fully understand that women have the potential to succeed in any field.雅思口语话题part2高分篇七Describe a public place that you think need improvementsYou should say:What the place isWhen do you go thereWhat do you like and dislike in the public place1-4月雅思口语新题part2范文之:改进公共设施(public place that you think need improvements)The public place that I think need improvements is the community library near my home. I often go there after work, probably twice a week. There are several aspects I like about the library. The first one is the whole atmosphere. Every time I go into the library, I can see people in all ages reading books, surfing in the internet, discussing questions, or watching movies, which makes me feel peaceful. The second one is the variety of books. It not only has Chinese books but also some English books. The third one is the easy access to all the materials. Application to the library card is easy and free. People can borrow 6 books for one time. However, there are some parts I don't like about the library. For example, the library doesn't have a quiet study area. It's pretty noisy for people or students who want to study lonely and quietly. The library can consider to build a quiet study room in the future.雅思口语话题part2高分范文之:未来居住的城市(city or country you want to live)Describe a city or country you most want to live in the future You should say:What is itWhere is it locatedWhy do you like it1-4月雅思口语新题part2范文之:改进公共设施(public place that you think need improvements)The city I most want to live in the future is Guangzhou. It is located in Guangdong Province, southern China. It's not far away from Hong Kong.I like to live in this city for several reasons. First of all,it's warm in winter. I personally don't like cold weather. I canstill wear sweaters or shirts in December in Guangzhou. Secondly, Guangzhou has a great job market. Career planning is one of the most important things for me. When I consider the city is livable or not, I pay more attention to the job market of the city. Guangzhou is one of the most developed cities in China. In the future, it will needall kinds of professionals to build the city better. I believe this will be a good opportunity. The last reason is the delicious food in Guangzhou. Guangzhou is famous for dim sum, and dim sum is myfavorite food.雅思口语话题part2高分范文之:从某处(人)学会(sth you learned in a place/from a person)Describe something you learned in a place/from a personYou should say:What was it that you learnedWhen did this happenWhere was it/ Who taught youHow difficult was it to learn1-4月雅思口语新题part 2范文之:从某处(人)学会(Describe sth you learned in a place/from a person)Several years ago, I tried to learn how to bake cakes in rice cooker and succeeded in making it. My roommate is a baking genius and she taught me to bake cakes at home.Learning how to bake cakes in rice cooker was pretty difficult because of several reasons. First of all, the portions of materials used were hard to control because I didn't have enough professional cooking tools. I estimated all the materials and merged together. I actually failed once, and succeeded at the second time. Secondly, baking cakes in rice cooker is different from baking in oven. I couldn't change the temperature of rice cooker and I couldn't know how well the cake became with the time passing by either. I had to guess and make sure the cake was not over-cooked. I had to pay more attention to the cake and couldn't leave the cake alone. The last difficult thing was how to take the cake out of the rice cooker. I had to slip the whole cake into a plate with some skills.雅思口语话题part2高分范文之:好的服务(where you received a good service)Describe an occasion where you received a good service from a company or shopYou should say:What the service wasWhen and where it happenedWhom you were together withHow you felt about itAnd explain why you think it was good service1-4月雅思口语新题part2范文之:好的服务(an occasion where you received a good service from a company or shop)Two years ago, I succeeded in returning a broken sweater to customer service at ABC store in Canada with my friend. I was very satisfied with the returning service there. It could be the best returning experience I've ever had.I bought a sweater from ABC store two years ago and washed it immediately after buying it. However, I found it's broken after being washed on the same day. I took this sweater to the store, wishing I could return it by some luck because usually clothes couldn't be returned or exchanged after being washed. The lady was so nice. Sheapologized immediately after listening to my request. She said it's their quality problem and promised to refund in 3 business days. She apologized again for the poor quality and shopping experience. Ididn't expect it could be solved so smoothly and easily. I would like to shop there again just for their great service.。

Every time I go into the library, I can see people in all ages reading books, surfing in the inter, discussing questions, or watching movies, which makes me feel peaceful. The second one is the variety of books. It not only has Chinese books but also some English books. The third one is the easy access to all the materials. She apologized immediately after listening to my request. She said it's their quality problem and promised to refund in 3 business days. She apologized again for the poor quality and shopping experience. I didn't expect it could be solved so smoothly and easily. I would like to shop there again just for their great service.雅思口语话题part2高分篇三i use social apps and knowledge-sharing apps everyday because the two meet my biggest two needs.i think in China there are already all kinds of apps to cater to people's every specific need, so it is hard for me to even name one special original app.But i would like the future world to have more apps for knowledge sharing like Quora and Zhihu(知乎).Definitely the Wechat,≮≮China's number one national app.It gets nearly a user pool of 1 billion. And you know what, more than half of them are daily active users. 雅思口语Part2范文:一次有趣的对话Last year when I was on my way to my hometown in a train, I had an interesting conversation with an unknown person and the conversation lasted for several hours. I live in the city and my hometown is about 7-8 hours away from the place I live. I usually go to my hometown by bus but that time I travelled in a train. I was in a second class compartment of the train and there were almost 10 other people travelling in the same compartment. I found a couple with 2 kids were sitting just opposite side of me next to me was sitting a person who seemed around 45 years old.I was sitting beside the window and he asked me to open it. He then thanked me and asked me about myself. The conversation went on and I learned that he is a senior employee of a large Government organization. I was bit confused that he was travelling in a second class compartment at cheap rent.He started a topic about how the kids and young people from the new generation have little passion on learning and busy doing unproductive staffs. I started defensing the young generation and expresses the difference the new generation has with their ancestors. The conversation started to turn into a debate and both of us used our logic and reasoning. The conversation was interesting and I was actively participating on it mostly because he had good and polite way of conversation. He told his reasoning for this belief but when I showed him mylogic, he did not protest just for the conversation’s sake. Rather he agree that he learned many new facts about the new generation and their way of thinking and lifestyles. He also confessed that the generation gap is unavoidable and the positive changes should be accepted by them. Besides this main topic some other topic arrived like the political situation of our country, the educational system currently we have and what should be done to eliminate many of your major problems. The conversation lasted for about 4 hours until he left the train at his station. I usually do not continue longer conversation with strangers and often find people start talking about silly issues with no moral values. But the conversation I had with this person in the train was interesting and I enjoyed it. I felt like there is a big gap between the first generation and the new generation and both generations do not listen and think deeply about the other generation and that’s causing a huge gap between them.I enjoyed to learn many thought of our first generations and was appalled about some of the misconceptions. I was also relived to learn that they have a positive attitude towards the changes which are for good reasons. His way of conversation was also positive and that’s why the overall conversation was enjoyable.雅思口语Part2范文:一次有趣的对话While my journey in a train to my hometown, I had a very interesting conversation with a person named Smith (...say a name...) who was a journalist of a daily newspaper. I can't recall his last name but he was a man around 35 years and sat next to me in the train.I usually read books in long journeys or listen to music. That day I was reading a book by Dan Brown and the person who sat next to me asked about the book. This is how the conversationstarted. The conversation was mostly about writers in general, the political condition in our country, the role of an ideal leader, journalism, corruptions and the major problems of our country. I rarely continue longer conversation with strangers but that conversation I had in the train was pretty different and lasted almost 3-4 hours. This conversation was interesting mostly because of three reasons: one, the person I had the conversation with was a smooth talking person with good knowledge and experience. Secondly, the way the conversation started and progressed was really interesting. I took my whole effort to debate on issues that I did not agree and also agreed with the notion that was similar to my viewpoint. Though this person was around 12 years senior to me, he never took any advantages of it and even he did not give any hint about it in the issued I disagreed with him. He treated me as an equally skilled opponent on many issues and listened to me very attentively. Finally, the place and circumstances when the conversation took place was really interesting. I must say, I learned many things from the opinion and experience he shared that day.Similar Cue Card T opicsYour ability to talk about this Cue Card Topic would also enable you to talk about the following Cue Card Topics as well: Describe an interesting conversation you had.Describe a conversation you had with an old person.Describe a conversation you enjoyed a lot.雅思范文:Describe an interesting conversation you had with othersThe most interesting conversation I have had was with a foreigner name Victor, during my in last summer vacation. At that time, I volunteered in an international academic conference held by my college. My job was to pick up foreign guests from the airport and accompany them to go to my school. Before the first day, I was quite worried because of my poor English skills, fearing that I can’t have smooth conversation with my guests and thus fail my task. But maybe it’s my lucky day, my worries were gone after I met the first guest Victor. He was an old man who lookedexactly like an intellectual. His personality was opposite to his serious appearance. he was talkative and have a good sense of humour. The ice was soon broken when he told me that he was a big fan of Chinese culture and asked me about all the things he was interested in like a curious child. Although I was more than willing and tried 100 percent to cater to his curi osity, I couldn’t fully understand. Some funny jokes were made because of this. For example, when I introduced Jingan Temple, a famous bustling commercial district, he asked me in confusion why the temple was built within city and how the monks could concentrate on their meditations. Anyway the misunderstanding didn’t hurt our exchanges. Instead, we were rolling with laughter throughout the drive. We even lost the track of time until we got the destination. This experience boosted my confidence in English language, and more importantly I learned my home country more through a foreigner’s perspective.雅思口语1-4月part2题库范文-与陌生人有趣对话题目:Describe an interesting conversation you had with a stranger You should say:Who this person wasWhat the conversation was aboutWhy you had this conversationAnd how you felt about it范文:在机场候机,人比较多,一个外国老爷爷用中文问我旁边有没有人坐,我告诉他没人之后他就坐了下来。

雅思口语真题范文part2-- 喜欢看的运动题目:Describe a sport game you've watchYou should say:When did you watch itWhere did you watch this gameWho did you watch itwithWhy did you like it范文:I'm going to talk about a swimming race, which took place in the Rio Olympic Game in 2016. When mentioning significant sport games in the entire world, the Olympic Game is absolutely the most renowned and influential one among people of all nations. And swimming races have always been a highlight of summer Olympic Games, especially for Chinese spectators. As a swimming buff, I enjoy watching them very much.I still remember the most impressive race was men's 200 meters freestyle final, which was aired live on television and I had even set the alarm clock in case of missing the game. During the course, 8 world-class athletes competed for the honor of individual as well as their own nations, including Chinese metal hopeful Sun Yang. At the beginning, the race was tight. Every participant seemed to swimthe first half conservatively and therewas almost no difference in their speed. Until the second half, Sun Yang, who was regarded as the gold medal favorite, noticeably accelerated his pace with lightning speed and successfully captured the gold metal.Even now, when I recall the moment that Sun Yong won the champion, I'll feel excited and even hyper.Part3What kinds of sportsare popular in your country? What are thebenefits of doing sports? Why do some peopledon' t like watching sports games? Why do some peoplelike doing sports? What‘s the difference between indoorsports and outdoor sports? What can governmentdo to encourage people to do sports?雅思口语范文之你喜欢的运动You should sayWhat the sport is?How you know about it?Is it difficult? And explain why you think it is exciting. Most people don’t know that skiing is actually a main method people can go from one place to another in northern areas. Gradually, it came into being a form of entertainment and sport. I touched it because of a journey in the Northeastern China. At that time, I still remember that I saw many people who wore down jackets and snowboard slid down from the top of hill covered by snow. T o many people, skiing is related to images of powdery snow, gorgeous vistas, and steamy hot chocolate. However, it might not be that simple. Skiing requires us a lot of practice and techniques. If possible, it is better to enroll in a classwhich covers the basics of downhill skiing. Only if you have a solid foundation of basic techniques, you can go for the next step. When you practice skiing into real snow covered hills, you might ignore the slippery snow. Also, keep balance is a hard thing to learn. As for me, I probably will never fall in love with this sport because I can even not keep a balance in the flat road, so not to mention the hill. However, I would love to play this sport because it is a very excited sport. In the process, I can enjoy the feeling of pursuing speed. It is truly refreshing and literally, washes away every disturbing thought I have whenever I dive into cold water. No matter how tight my schedule may get, I usually pay at least one visit to a local swimming pool to work myself up and get rejuvenated.Sometimes, I have a partner or two, who have been my best friends since high school. We live in the same neighborhood so it’s not too stressful when we have to set a schedule for our swimming session. We carpool more often than not and it takes us roughly 15 minutes to get to the local recreation center where it provides the locals with a variety of facilities for training purpose such as gym class, stadium, swimming pool, tennis court and so on, which is extremely convenient for those who practice more than one activity. The only thing better then swimming itself is swimming with your besties, which is one of hundreds of things I love about my weekly ritual. Hardly do we have time to meet each other during week days as we’re all up to our neck at work and totally stressed out. Therefore, having such a healthy way to catch up with my friends and recharge battery after an exhausting week never sounds better.Just like any other sports, swimming helps maintain your health, keep you fit as well as build your endurance. However, unlike others, it’s a very relaxing and peacefu l form of exercise, you don’t even sweat for hours – a supreme advantage. Therefore, if you’re looking for a kind of sport that brings you comfort and relaxation, swimming should be your first choice.。
雅思口语稿-7分班exciting activity
All right then, in response to the question, I guess i'll start off by talking about Marathon, which is an exciting activity that I want to try most. I first got to know it when one of my English teachers shared her experience and impressions about participating an half-Marathon in Dalian. She was moved more than one time as she witnessed all kinds of people running along with her, and she said she had never imagined the stamina and willpower that she could ever achieve. As we all know, Marathon is a kind of Olympic game, which requires a wonderful physical strength, a determined temperament and, of course, training for a long period. Actually, it is originated from the Greece-Persia War in roughly the 5th century BC. A young greek who was brilliant at running was dispatched to run 42 kilometers in order to let the people in the motherland got to know their victory at the first time, he successfully finished the trip and sent the message and then died. To memory this event, Marathon become in Olympic sport and is regarded as one of the exciting activities in the world. The reason why I'm passionate about trying it is that Marathon has a quality of compatible, as long as you are interested in it, you can enjoy the whole activity with other professionals and amateurs on the same stage. And to each participant, every street or corner contains rather distinctive and marvelous sceneries. Even more importantly, when I start to do something persistently and with all my heart, i'll cultivate an active and positive attitude towards life, maybe that could become a turning point for me to get enough courage to overcome the tough and make new goals. It's rather valuable for me because I can explore the unique feeling that I have no chance to experience before, you know, just add some spice into my daily life.。

There was a time I saw a video of him speaking in public, you know how English is not his first language, but the thing is, he has always wanted to try to speak it. It literally took him half a minute to say the words ‘in the beginning’. He tried so many times and still couldn’t pronounce it. The best part is that every time he failed saying it, he would wiggle his body to defuse the embarrassment. Every single time I saw this video, I would laugh till my belly hurt. Generally speaking, we would expect the leader of a country to be more serious, you know, at least practice the speech or have a translator with you for the important occasions like that. But the way he behaves, is just very endearing. It's absolutely more fascinating than those who follow the conventional way of delivering a speech. 关键词: 1. literally adv. 不夸张地说,简直 2. wiggle v. 扭动 3. defuse the embarrassment 化解尴尬 4. laughed till my belly hurt 笑到肚⼦疼 5. fascinate v. 迷住,使神魂颠倒 6. conventional way 传统标准2.雅思⼝语考试时间 1、雅思⼝语Part 1 这部分考试简单,⼀般就是考⽣的⾃我简介。

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to talk about a book that had a major influence on me. I am going to tell you the name of the book and the author, what I remember of it and why it is so significant to me. Funnily enough, I was thinking about this book only the other day. It is called ‘The Adventures of the Little Wooden Horse’, I don’t know whyI remembered it suddenly, but I had to google to look up the author. It is by Ursula Moray Williams, but I didn’t know that when I first read it. As to how I first heard of the book, I can’t really say! It is actually a children’s book, and I think it must have been chosen for me by my parents as I don’t remember actually buying it with anyone, and I don’t think it was a birthday gift or it would have had an inscription in its front cover. The copy I had was a rather tatty paperback with an orange cover and published by a then famous book company called Puffin Books. It had a picture of crudely fashioned toy wooden horse on the front. The horse had a cylindrical body and straight legs fastened onto a board with four wheels on it. The horse had a flowing mane and tail, and in my copy was facing away from the reader, heading off on its’adventures. The story was so very sad! The horse in the title was a toy horse originally supposed to be sold by his maker. The little wooden horse is very loyal and wants only to stay with his Uncle Peder who crafted him. However, sadly the toymaker is forced out of business as mass produced toys become available, and the little wooden horse sets out to try and make his fortune so the two of them can stay together. Terrible things happen to the horse, he is sometimes lonely and unhappy. Eventually, though, he does make his fortune (I can’t remember how) and returns home only to find the toymaker has vanished! It is heart-breaking. In the end, the littlewooden horse and the toy maker are reunited by chance and there is at last a happy ending after a harrowing set of adventures. The reason this book is important to me is because it is the first book I remember really wanting to read for myself. My mum and dad would take turns to read me just one chapter at night, but there were lots and lots of chapters –about twenty I think, and I was so upset not knowing how the story would end if one chapter was finished and the poor little wooden horse was left in distress! I could read a bit, but not that well, and not well enough to read silently in my head. Anyway, one night, after my parents had closed the book and left me alone, I carried on reading all by myself. I had to read out loud, and the story was so sad I was sobbing as I read, which made it even harder for me to get the words out and finish the story. Even so, I carried on reading right to the end and fortunately the story did end happily! I can still remember this, even though I must have only been about four years old at the time. My parents remember the episode too. They could hear me in my room reading aloud and crying, and they said it was heart-rending to listen to, but also quite impressive, as I was so stubbornly determined to do this, and on my own.I have never re-read the book as an adult. I’m afraid if I did and found it wasn’t really very good or very well written it might spoil the memory for me. I prefer to imagine it as the most brilliant story ever written even ifthat isn’t true at all! So the book is special because it is probably the book that encouraged me to read, as well as being probably my earliest memory.以上就是三立在线教育雅思网为大家带来雅思口语part2话题卡参考范文之描述一本让人振奋的书(Describe an exciting book you have read)的相关介绍,关注(三立在线教育雅思网)更多雅思考试资讯以及备考资料免费领!三立在线教育雅思频道为大家提供2018年最新的雅思备考资料,需要的同学可免费领取。
噪音p2雅思口语范文
噪音p2雅思口语范文Well, you know, noise is really something that can drive a person crazy sometimes.Let's start with the noise in the city. I live near a busy street, and the traffic noise is just non stop. There are cars honking all the time. It's like they have some kind of a horn honking competition. In the morning, when I'm still half asleep, the buses and trucks start rumbling by. It's as if they are saying, "Hey, wake up! Join the noisy world!" And it's not just the vehicles. There are also people shouting on the street, maybe somestreet vendors trying to attract customers. They yell out things like "Fresh fruits! Cheap and delicious!" at the top of their lungs. Then there's the noise at construction sites. Oh my god! Once there was a building being constructed near my place. The sound of the drills and the big machines banging around was just deafening. It was like a never ending symphony of destruction. I remember trying to study for an exam at that time, and I just couldn't concentrate at all. I put on my headphones and played some soft music, but the noise from outside was still seeping through. It was like the music and the construction noise were having afight in my ears, and the construction noise was winning. But you know what? Sometimes noise can also be kind of interesting in a strange way. For example, at a football stadium. I went to a football match once, and the noise there was incredible. Everyone was shouting, cheering, and singing the team's anthem. It was a wall of sound, but it was exciting. The roar of the crowd when the home team scored a goal was so loud that it felt like the whole stadium was shaking. It was a positive kind of noise, full of energy and passion.Another place with noise is in a busy shopping mall. There are so many different sounds all mashed together. There are the voices of people chatting, the music playing from the stores, and the beeping of the cash registers. It's a chaotic kind of noise, but it also gives a feeling of liveliness. However, when you just want to have a quiet moment and think about which pair of shoes to buy, all that noise can be a bit too much.In conclusion, noise is all around us, and it can be either a real nuisance or a source of fun and excitement, depending on the situation. But most of the time, I do wish there was a bit less of it, especially when I'm trying to relax or get some work done.。
英语作文兴奋的活动
英语作文兴奋的活动英文回答:Exciting activities can bring immense joy and thrill to our lives. They provide us with opportunities to break free from our mundane routines and experience something extraordinary. I went there with a couple of my best friends last year. When we first landed in Bali, the warm air and the beautiful scenery just hit us right away. It was so relaxing. One of the most memorable things was visiting the Uluwatu Temple. It's perched on a cliff overlooking the ocean. The view from there was absolutely breathtaking. We watched the sunset while the local Balinese dancers were performing their traditional Kecak dance. The sound of their voices and the rhythm of the dance combined with the crashing waves in the background it was like a symphony of nature and culture. We also tried surfing for the first time. Let me tell you, it was not as easy as it looks! I fell off the board so many times that I was swallowing more seawater than I care to admit. 高分范文:
Recently I opened a WordPress blog and started writing blog posts and this is the first time I own a blog. This is not only a new activity for me but also very thrilling.
I am a regular internet user and I read numerous blogs quite often. But owning one is something which happened to me very recently. Earlier last month I opened a blog from and the blog address comprises my name and then .com. So far I have written 20+ posts and they are getting more than 200 traffics each day. I always wanted to own a blog and write things that would let me continue my writing habit as well as help others who are searching for the same thing I am listing down. For instance, one particular post which is getting much attention and comments from the users is regarding the best places and activities for the tourists in my hometown.
I opened the blog from my home computer and after few hours continuous effort I gave it a nice design. WordPress is the most popular blogging platform nowadays and it makes the content management and maintaining of the blog quite easy. After finishing the initial design, now I focus on writing new posts. I opened this blog to add posts that will work as a reference for me as well as help other searchers. For instance, I have visited almost all of the major tourist attractions in my hometown and I know them quite well. So listing down the major tourist attractions with some of the pictures and descriptions would help others who are planning to visit my hometown as tourists.
After opening the blog, I informed few of my very close friends who visited it and gave positive feedback. I also shared this blog on my Facebook, Twitter and Google+ profiles where all of my social connections were notified about this blog. I made Mark, one of my very close friends, an administrator of this blog so that he can also write his posts and help maintain this blog.
Opening a blog that would be popular among people of different countries was a dream for me. I am yet to go a long way but the starting is done and that’s very exciting for me. I have integrated the most popular statistics tool which is 'Google Analytics' and it gives many insights of the blog including the per day visitors, posts where visitors spend time, live visitor count, where the visitors are coming from, their visit duration and many other aspects of the blog. Creating something new that grabs people’s attention and help them is always exciting and motivating. Looking at the blog and statistics is something that gives me the inspiration to continue to write and write great posts to help others. The whole thing is quite exhilarating and I am sure I will continue it for a long time.
