该班学生经历了近三年的语言学习训练,已经积累了一定的英语基础。
学生英语基础普遍较好,课堂思维活跃,有一定的词汇量和口语表达能力,听说读写各方面能力都较强。
目前,该班的英语水平在平行班中处于中上游。
二.教材内容分析本节课是牛津教材8B Unit 6: France is calling的第二课时,本单元的阅读部分是介绍法国。
在这节课中,我选择了课文前四段的内容进行教学,主要围绕巴黎进行知识学习,然后拓展到语言运用方面的能力训练,由词汇学习到句型学习最后整合到写作训练。
学生除了对法国的首都——巴黎有一个了解和知识学习外,也会进行知识迁移,运用到介绍其他国家和城市,并整合知识进行口语和写作方面的训练。

本文中,基于 “France is calling”这节阅读课的各个环节,笔者通过行动研究来探索如何在初中英语阅读教学过程中更加合理、有效地实施情景教学。

一、研究背景英语阅读课是英语教学的重要组成部分,教材每个单元的知识点也是基于阅读内容呈现的。
《义务教育英语课程标准(2022年版)》指出,核心素养是课程育人价值的集中体现,是学生通过课程学习逐步形成的适应个人终身发展和社会发展需要的正确价值观、必备品格和关键能力。
《义务教育英语课程标准(2022年版)》的语言能力学段目标中指出,7-9年级的学生能围绕相关主题,运用所学语言与他人进行日常交流,语音,语调、用词基本正确,表达比较连贯。
基于对本校八年级75名学生的问卷调查可知,17%的学生对自己目前的英语阅读能力感到满意,59%的学生感到一般满意,24%的学生感到不满意。
关于阅读课有效性的调查,78%的学生在阅读时能偶尔联系实际,各有11%的学生经常或很少联系实际。
针对“上完一堂英语阅读课后,文章的内容在现实生活中起指导或者帮助作用的频率”这个问题,12%的学生选择“经常”,33%的学生选择“偶尔”,55%的学生选择“很少”。
让学生对自己喜爱的英语课类型排序时,60%的学生把阅读课排在前二。
课堂参与度以及课堂学习内容与现实生活的关联性是考量学生英语学习状况的重要标准。
从以上数据能看出,学生在日常的英语阅读时不可避免地需要联系现实生活。

在这节课中,我选择了课文前四段的内容进行教学,主要围绕巴黎进行知识学习,然后拓展到语言运用方面的能力训练,由词汇学习到句型学习最后整合到写作训练。
学生除了对法国的首都——巴黎有一个了解和知识学习外,也会进行知识迁移,运用到介绍其他国家和城市,并整合知识进行口语和写作方面的训练。

●学习并了解法国巴黎的相关知识内容,拓展知识面。

●培养学生的阅读技巧(抓住关键词和学会总结)。
●培养学生的写作技巧(掌握小作文的写作结构和连接词使用)。

四.教学过程和方法说明
本课的第一环节是进行词汇复习,进行快速朗读单词来吸引学生注意力并用这些单词来完成简单的句子。
目的是为了让学生巩固上节课也就是第一课时的词汇教学内容。
然后进入新知识学习部分。
教师通过展示巴黎的景点图片:埃菲尔铁塔,凯旋门和香榭丽舍大街,让学生在老师一步步的发散性提问下引出新单词和短语,培养学生猜测词义的能力。
然后让学生朗读后进行词义配对练习,巩固对新词汇的理解后再进行活动:填词并完成两人对话。
这个对话是根据课文的第一和第二段进行整合改编的,为了能够让学生有一个合作交流的学习机会并能通过活泼的对话方式来理解课文内容。
然后进行知识迁移的操练,展示三个不同国家的地图和标志性建筑物,对相同的对话进行操练。
这个活动的设计是为了能让学生进一步掌握课文的内容,除了操练所学的新词汇和短语,并培养他们能联系实际进行灵活改编课文内容和灵活运用知识的能力。
第三环节是整合课文第三段和第四段内容进行教学,围绕巴黎的迪斯尼和交通隧道学习来进行知识拓展。
我先采用了观看一段视频并让学生回答问题来进行课文内容的渗透,让学生在视觉和听觉上有一个直观的感受。
观看录像前,我先把四个问题展示给学生看,但是并非是完整的问题,为了让学生学会掌握抓住关键词的能力,一方面是降低问题的难度,让学生可以带着目的去听和看,另一方面又是加大了问题的难度,因为是非完整的提问,学生可以进行任何的联想和猜测,给了他们足够的想象空间。
视频是根据课文第三段和第四段的内容改编的,增加了一定的内容,并有一部分的知识铺垫。
通过回答问题让学生来理解课文的内容,其中第四个问题是为了引出新短语:enable sb. to do sth. 然后在朗读后教师举例T: Paris enables me to think of EuroDisney.引导学生使用这个短语,提问:What does Paris enable you to think of? 先让个别优秀学生引领学习后再进行两人对话,让学生发挥想象来操练这个句型,去联想和法国有关的事
物。
然后在几组学生能熟练展示对话后,让学生即兴改编对话来继续联想和上海有关的事物和相关知识。
不仅培养了学生口语运用方面的能力,进一步熟练运用这个句型并为后面的小作文进行内容铺垫。
有了之前的词汇和内容铺垫后,就到了整合所学知识来综合运用的训练环节,除了有阅读理解、知识归纳、还有写作的训练。
这一环节我采用了四个步骤。
第一,单句的首字母填空。
把整堂课的知识重点以句子形式呈现,让学生也有一个回顾的过程,学生有了一堂课的内容学习后完成这个练习并不难,也是通过简单的句子来操练首字母填空,增强学生对于考试中完型填空部分的信心。
第二,把这6个句子进行正确排序。
这一活动是培养学生的逻辑能力和理解能力;第三,让学生来分析小作文的写作结构,从而训练他们能够掌握写小作文的基本框架和对连接词的运用;第四,为小作文取一个标题。
发挥他们的想象力和理解力,也是对于考试当中第三部分阅读理解文章中发散性的题目进行操练,培养他们的知识归纳能力。
最后这个环节的一系列活动是为了让学生串联知识,巩固本堂课所学的句型,将语言训练、语境创设与学生的情感体验有机融合在一起,为学生提供发挥创造力、想象力和合作能力的舞台。
最后的作业设计也是根据本堂课的知识内容进行仿写和仿练。
在学习了有关法国巴黎的知识和语言点,以及写小作文的要点后,进行一个主题围绕上海的仿写或是仿练。
通过了这一堂课的一系列教学后,学生可以很轻松的进行作文仿写了,因为积累了一定的口语句子,只需要在课后加以整理就可以了,因此学生不会再惧怕写英语小作文了。
五.教学媒体的使用
本堂课使用PPT作为课堂辅助手段,向学生展示了和课堂教学有关的多种信息,包括视频、词汇、对话、图片等等,有效地提高了课堂效率。
