1.To be able to understand passages about health routines.
2.To write about healthy living with the hints provided by pictures.

教学重点
Key vocabulary:
well ,heart ,active, pet, member, take part in(in sth.),then , daily, weak, exercise
Key structures:
1. I have had him for three months now and I feel really healthy.
2. Since then,it has become part of my life.
教学过程
Step 1. Warming- up
Free talk.
Go over the words about healthy or unhealthy food and drink.
设计意图:复习七年级学过的Module 4 Healthy food,首先吃的健康,身体也才能健康,这也是保持健康的因素之一,为下面的图画导入做铺垫。
Step 2. Leading-in
Show some pictures and ask some questions.
1.What are they doing while they are watching TV?
2.Is eating food while watching TV healthy?
3.Is playing football often healthy?
4.How does he go to work every day?
5.Is going to work by bike every day healthy?
设计意图:通过图片上的行为让学生了解健康的生活同样离不开运动。
从而导入本节课的话题,运动与健康,进入新授环节。
Step 3.Listen and answer
1.Does the doctor check Anna’s heart?
2.How does Thomas go to work now?
设计意图:培养学生在听的过程中获得有关信息的能力。
Step 4.Fast reading
Describe the activities and match the people with the pictures.
设计意图:培养学生泛读的能力,迅速获取所需信息的能力。
Step 5. Careful reading
设计了四种类型的表格问题,填空,回答问题,选择和判断正误,培养学生精读的能力,以不同的方式从文中获取信息,完成任务。

设计意图: 这个表格的作用是培养学生对信息归纳总结的能力。
Step 6. Look and say
看图片说句子,分别描述安娜,王薇,托马斯和理查德的锻炼方式,培养学生说的能力。

看图片,写几个句子描述一个人的变化过程。

设计意图:培养学生根据画面写句子的能力。
这也是本节课的评测练习。

Write a passage about healthy living.
Title: How to be a healthy kid?
设计意图:通过本节课的学习,学生了解了健康的重要性,也了解到了一个人想拥有健康,不是需要单方面的因素,而是需要饮食,也需要运动,同时让学生动脑思考,健康还需要哪方面的因素,自己适当
发挥,谈谈自己的观点,培养学生积极思考,多方面收集资料的能力。
