creative英语作文Creative Writing: The Power of Imagination。
Imagination is a powerful tool that can transport us to different worlds and help us to explore new ideas. It is the driving force behind creativity and innovation, and without it, our lives would be dull and uninspired. In this essay, I will explore the power of imagination and how it can be harnessed to bring about positive change in our lives. The human mind is capable of incredible feats of imagination. We can create entire worlds in our minds, populated by characters and creatures of our own making. We can imagine ourselves in different situations, experiencing different emotions and challenges. Imagination is not limited by the constraints of reality, and it is this freedom that makes it such a powerful tool. One of the most powerful ways in which imagination canbe harnessed is through storytelling. Stories have the power to transport us to different places and times, to introduce us to new people and ideas, and to inspire us to be better versions of ourselves. Whether it is through books, films, or oral storytelling traditions, stories have the ability to connect us to the world around us and to each other.Another way in which imagination can be harnessed is through creative pursuits such as art, music, and writing. These activities allow us to express ourselves in ways that are not limited by the constraints of reality. Through art, we can create images that capture the essence of our imagination. Through music, we can express emotions that are difficult to put into words. Through writing, we can create entire worlds and characters that live on in the minds of our readers.Imagination can also be harnessed to bring about positive change in the world around us. When we imagine a better world, we are more likely to take action to bring it about. Imagination can inspire us to be more creative inour problem-solving, to think outside the box, and to come up with innovative solutions to the challenges we face.In conclusion, imagination is a powerful tool that can be harnessed in many different ways. Whether it is through storytelling, creative pursuits, or bringing about positive change in the world around us, imagination has the power to inspire us and to connect us to the world around us. So,let us embrace our imaginations and use them to create a better world for ourselves and for future generations.。

实用英语口语(高级) 18.Creative writing techniques
实用英语口语(高级) 18.Creative writingtechniquesPROFESSOR:How do writers write well? They use a varietyof techniques to create a personal style and vision. Let'slook at few of them. Metaphor, from the Greek 'metaphora' or transference is used to give a unique perspective on afamiliar topic by comparing seemingly diverse subjects or concepts and so illuminating our understanding of the world. Shakespeare's famous metaphor from 'As You Like It'.PROFESSOR:But what is he saying? This is a common themein Shakespeare: the transience and impermanence of life, as short lived as a play upon the stage. To continue with our Shakespearian theme, he was also a master of the hyperbole. This means excess or exaggeration and is used to create emphasis. "Will all great Neptune's ocean wash this bloodclean from my hand?"PROFESSOR:So says Macbeth after he has murdered the King. The exaggerated language here emphasizes his terrible guilt and the enormity of his crime. The heightened tone of the language serves to add dramatic impact. "In Xanadu did Kubla Khan, A stately pleasure dome decree: Where Alph, the sacred river, ran, Through caverns measureless to man Down to a sunless sea." So begins Samuel Taylor Coleridge's most famous poem, 'Kubla Khan' which he claimed came to him in a dream.PROFESSOR:There are various definitions of symbolism but the one I favor is that which reveals the mystery which surrounds reality and I think this works for Coleridge'smagical poem. Since it was written, there have been many theories as to what the poem actually means. I think the poem is about the creative process. The sunless sea and the deep caverns symbolize the mind, whilst the Arcadian imagery of'fertile grounds', 'gardens bright', represent the artist's imagination. However, there can be peril in unleashing the unconscious as implied in such imagery as 'a savage place', 'this chasm, with ceaseless turmoil seething'.PROFESSOR:不过,就像所有的艺术家一样,当无休止的想象终于能够让艺术品成型,他们会感到一阵田园诗般的释放:“这真是个稀有的设计奇迹,阳光灿烂的逍遥宫,连同那雪窟冰窖” But the poet remains an outsider, as he must, according to Coleridge, doomed to see what others cannot: "And close your eyes with holy dread, For he on honey dew hath fed, And drunk the milk of Paradise." For many artists the creative impulse is a blessing and a curse and Coleridge describes this ambivalence in the vivid symbolism of his poetry.。

创新创意作品英语作文
创新创意作品英语作文In the realm of English composition, innovation andcreativity are the keys to crafting compelling narratives, persuasive arguments, and informative essays. Here's a look at how students and writers can infuse their work with originality and artistic flair.1. Unconventional Narrative Structures: Instead of sticking to the traditional linear narrative, experiment with non-linear storytelling. This could involve flashbacks, multiple timelines, or even a 'choose your own adventure' style where readers can decide the direction of the story.2. Vivid and Unusual Imagery: Use descriptive language to paint a picture with words. Don't settle for clichés; instead, strive for unique and evocative imagery that helps readers visualize the scene in a new light.3. Innovative Use of Language: Play with the structure of the English language. This can include alliteration, assonance, onomatopoeia, or even creating new words or phrases that fit the context of your composition.4. Cross-Cultural Perspectives: Incorporate elements from different cultures to enrich your narrative. This can add depth and diversity to your work, allowing readers to explore new ideas and perspectives.5. Interactive Elements: If the medium allows, consider adding interactive components to your essay or story. This could be in the form of reader participation, such as questions that prompt reflection, or even interactive charts and graphs for informational pieces.6. Blending Genres: Don't be afraid to mix genres. A story that combines elements of science fiction, romance, and mystery can be far more engaging than one that strictly adheres to a single genre.7. Character Development: Create complex and multi-dimensional characters. Give them unique voices, backgrounds, and motivations that go beyond the stereotypes and drive the narrative in unexpected directions.8. Symbolism and Metaphor: Use symbolism and metaphor to add layers of meaning to your work. This can lead to a more profound interpretation and encourage readers to think more deeply about the themes you present.9. Original Themes: Explore new themes that haven't been overdone. Whether it's a fresh take on an old topic or an entirely new subject, originality in theme can make your composition stand out.10. Experiment with Form: The form of your composition can be as creative as the content. Try writing a story in the form of a letter, a diary entry, or even a series of tweets. In conclusion, the possibilities for innovation andcreativity in English composition are limitless. By pushing the boundaries of traditional writing, you can create works that are not only engaging and memorable but also thought-provoking and inspiring. Remember, the goal is not just to write, but to write in a way that resonates with readers and leaves a lasting impression.。

收获创作的乐趣英文作文The Joy of Creative Writing。
Writing is an art form that allows us to express our thoughts and emotions in a unique and creative way. Whether it is through poetry, fiction, or non-fiction, writing can be a powerful tool for self-expression and exploration. As someone who has always loved to write, I can attest to the fact that there is nothing quite like the feeling of creating something from scratch and seeing it come to life on the page. One of the greatest joys of creative writing is the freedom it provides. Unlike other forms of communication, writing allows us to explore our thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment or interruption. We can take our time to craft our words and ideas, revising and refining until we are satisfied with the end result. This process of self-discovery and self-expression can be incredibly rewarding, as it allows us to tap into our innermostthoughts and emotions and bring them to the surface.Another benefit of creative writing is the opportunity to connect with others. Whether we are sharing our work with friends, family, or a wider audience, writing can be a powerful way to connect with others and share our experiences. Through our words, we can inspire, educate, and entertain others, creating a sense of community and shared understanding.Of course, creative writing is not without its challenges. It can be difficult to find the time and motivation to write, and the process of revising andediting can be daunting. However, the rewards of creative writing far outweigh the challenges. Not only does it provide an outlet for self-expression and connection, butit can also be a powerful tool for personal growth and development. In conclusion, creative writing is a valuable and rewarding pursuit that can bring joy and fulfillment to our lives. Whether we are writing for ourselves or for others, the act of creating something from nothing is a powerful and transformative experience. So if you have ever felt the urge to write, I encourage you to pick up a pen or open a blank document and start exploring the magic of creative writing.。

Right Time for Rural Revitalization
26CHINA TODAYJUST after the Spring Festival, Peng Yi, a designer of cultural and creative products, and the embroidery ladies at a rural poverty alleviation workshop were inundated with calls ordering Miao embroidery and batik products. The workshop is located at Huawu Village, Qianxi County, Bijie City of Guizhou Province, an ethnic Miao community visited by Chinese Presi-dent Xi Jinping on the eve of the Spring Festival this year. Xi encouraged the locals to carry for-ward traditional ethnic culture and continue to contribute to rural development. The village was recently lifted out of poverty.By staff reporter MA LIEffective Connection“When President Xi walked in, I was working on a painting for the Year of the Ox. He asked me what the dye was made of, and I told him it was made of Isatis leaves we picked locally,” said Peng, who added that the fight against poverty laid a solid foundation for helping the inheritance process of passing on handi-crafts by Huawu villagers, while also offering a bigger market.“Before the Spring Festival this year, a total of 36 ladies produced 260 pieces of batik and embroidery products with an output value of RMB 1.02 million.” The COVID-19 epidemic last year had little impact on the sales of the products, according to Peng. “The la-dies no longer have to leave their hometown to work,This publicroad built along the cliffs helps connect Huawu Village in Qianxi County, an ethnic Miao community, with the outside world. For more than a month, he commuted back and forth between the company and a farm it built so as to carry out daily inspections for its smooth operation during the holiday.Since 2015, Evergrande Group has provided assis-tance to Bijie City. Over the past five years, the group has donated RMB 11 billion to poverty alleviation and sent a full-time poverty relief team of 2,108 work-ers to lift more than one million people in the city out of poverty.Evergrande invested RMB 5.7 billion to help relo-cate 218,800 local impoverished people by building 17 poverty-relief communities and 50 new villages, well equipped with educational, medical, commer-cial, and other facilities. Evergrande also ensures follow-up support for poverty-alleviation relocation by creating public welfare jobs.Among the company’s 611 key aid projects cov-ering 21.16 million square meters, there were 498 industrial poverty alleviation projects. Now, Bijie has developed into the largest cold climate vegetable base in south China. It is also the largest Angus beef cattle breeding base in China, is home to a herbalmedicine production base in the Wumeng Mountain area, and has the largest ediblefungi and fine fruits produc-tion base in Guizhou.Getting rid of poverty isnot the end. The Evergrande professional team includingMu will continue to live in Bijie to carry out the follow-up support projects, aligning efforts to consolidate andexpand the achievements in poverty alleviation withefforts to promote rural revitalization and facilitate modernization of agriculture and rural areas.Industry as Driving ForceIn 2015, Wang Jingfang, from a registered poverty-stricken household in Cuijiaji Town, Pingdu City, Shandong Province, spent all of her family’s savings on medical bills due to a serious illness. Villagers stepped up to lend Wang a helping hand.Wang later came to work for the township cherry tomato planting greenhouse, a poverty alleviation project located at Qianwa Village, where she learned skills in cherry tomato cultivation and greenhouse management. In August 2017, Wang approached Ju Bingjin, Party secretary of Qianwa Village, and expressedPeng plans to expand the development of new products such as batiks, handmade embroidery, and small handicraftsby taking advantageof rural tourism.28CHINA TODAYher desire to operate a greenhouse. Ju allowed her to open the greenhouse first and pay the rent later. Wang’s income from operating the greenhousereached RMB 250,000 the following year. Encouraged by her success, Wang’s daughter and son-in-law, who then worked in Qingdao, returned home to also get involved in greenhouse farming. “The more people get involved, the easier it is for the industry to de-velop a business cluster effect,” said Ju.The vegetable greenhouse project is an innova-tive township agricultural assistance project. Back in 2016, Cuijiaji Town planned to integrate the RMB 5.4 million of poverty alleviation funds allocated to six economically-weak villages, and build 36 high-standard greenhouses with winter heating facilities as a demonstration project. The project has helped lift Qianwa Village out of poverty and moved into the fast lane of rural revitalization ahead of schedule.Qianwa Village is a fine example of the rural industry development in Cuijiaji Town, where the number of greenhouses for cherry tomato planting has grown from 36 to more than 1,200 now. “Up to now, more than 30 of 121 villages in the town have planted cherry tomatoes, with sales revenue of more than RMB 420 million, driving the villagers’ income by RMB 310 million, or nearly RMB 4,000 per capita,” said Zhang Shunze, deputy magistrate of Cuijiaji Town. Zhang said that as an economically-weak town in Qingdao, Cuijiaji has not only succeeded in getting rid of poverty, but also extended the industrial chain from planting to other links like purchasing and selling, processing, logistics, e-commerce sales, and agricultural materials. It has completed the trans-formation and upgrading from “poverty alleviation cooperative” to “agricultural innovation,” and pro-moted agricultural modernization through industrial integration.Pingdu City has established 32 “poverty alleviation demonstration units for agricultural innovation.” “Its poor households and poor villages had participated in projects to develop industries with distinctive local features and advantages, and drive the development of poverty alleviation and prosperity by establishing and improving the mechanism of interest linkage and revenue sharing,” said Tang Yunli, director of the local poverty alleviation office. She said the city has explored a path to poverty alleviation and rural revitalization by developing industries with distinctive local features, which as aspeCial reporTresult has made Pingdu a model for rural revitaliza-tion in Shandong Province.Future ProspectsPingdu in Shandong Province and Bijie in Gui-zhou Province are typical representatives of the east and west of China respectively, with distinctive local features and resource advantages in industrial de-velopment. He believes that the depth, extent, and difficulty of comprehensively implementing the strategy of rural revitalization are no less than those of poverty alleviation. Therefore, governments at all levels must strengthen the top-level design, while improving work systems and institutional systems by adopting more powerful measures and gathering greater strength, accelerate the modernization of agriculture and rural areas, and ensure that agriculture is of a high quality and ef-ficiency, villages are livable and workable, and farm-ers are prosperous. “Rural revitalization is another protracted battle like China’s decades-long war on poverty,” he said.Luo pointed out that the economically well-developed provinces in eastern China should make efforts to promote rural innovation and entrepre-neurship upgrading, and strengthen the new driversof rural industrial development. “We must optimizethe environment for innovation and entrepreneur-ship in rural areas, enhance innovation and entrepre-neurship to generate more jobs, improve the leadingrole of scientific and technological innovation, anddevelop endogenous driving force of rural industrydevelopment,” said Luo.According to Luo, only by introducing favorablepolicies, increasing the appeal of the countryside andbuilding more projects can the range of talents andinvestors needed to start businesses and innovate ru-ral areas be attracted. Talent and industrial develop-ment is key to comprehensively revitalizing China’srural areas, he said.Likewise, underdeveloped areas in western China, while consolidating their achievements in povertyalleviation, should also keep their agricultural andrural development on a track of steady growth.“In areas like Bijie in Guizhou that have just beenlifted out of poverty, we need to continue to safe-guard lucid water and lush mountains, and combinefiscal transfer payments for ecological protectionwith support for eco-friendly industries,” said Luo,adding that experience inthe east can be replicated inthe west, like during the fightagainst poverty. “The lessonslearned through east-west col-laboration on poverty allevia-tion can be carried forward,” hesaid.According to Luo, moreefforts now should be put intoconsolidating achievements inpoverty alleviation. The com-prehensive poverty alleviationstrategy through multiple means, including specialpoverty alleviation, industrial development-orientedpoverty alleviation, social poverty alleviation, andthe east-west coordination, will continue to play itsimportant role, with its focus on coordinated devel-opment of rural areas.“Victory in the poverty battle laid a solid founda-tion for China’s future development by illustrating amagnificent blueprint for rural revitalization,” saidLuo. “We should look forward to a new countrysidethat features flourishing industries, livable ecology, civil customs, effective governance, and a prosper-ous life.”CVictory in the povertybattle laid a solidfoundation for China’sfuture developmentby illustrating amagnificent blueprintfor rural revitalization.29April 2021。
