和妈妈一起去旅行英语作文五年级全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1Going on a Trip with My MomYay, it was finally summer vacation! No more homework, no more waking up super early, and best of all, no more school for a whole 2 months. I was so excited to just relax and have fun.On the first week of summer, my mom surprised me by saying "Timmy, how would you like to go on a trip, just you and me?" A huge smile grew on my face. Going on a trip with just my mom sounded like so much fun!"Where are we going?" I asked excitedly. Mom's eyes twinkled as she replied, "Well, I was thinking we could go to California. We could go to the beach, see Hollywood, and go to Disneyland! What do you think?""That sounds awesome!" I shouted, jumping up and down. I loved the beach and could not wait to put my toes in the warm, soft sand. And Disneyland - the happiest place on Earth! I had been begging my parents to take me there.Over the next few days, mom and I planned out our big California adventure. We made a list of everything we wanted to do and see. At the top of my list, of course, was Disneyland. But I also really wanted to walk along the Hollywood Walk of Fame, go swimming in the Pacific Ocean, and try authentic Mexican food from a taco truck. Mom's list had more museums and hiking trails on it. But we made sure to compromise so both of our trips would be super fun. Finally, the day arrived for us to leave on our trip. I had my suitcase all packed with sandals, sunscreen, swim trunks, and my favorite comic books to read. Mom had snacks and road games ready to keep me entertained during the long drive. We were so excited! The drive from Kansas to California took what felt like forever. But it was actually pretty fun. Mom and I played classic road trip games like I-Spy, 20 Questions, and the License Plate game. We stopped along the way at weird roadside attractions like the HUGE Ranch Hand statue in Oklahoma. We stayed in hotels, swam in their pools, and got to watch unlimited TV and movies. After a few days of driving, we finally made it to California! Our first stop was the Santa Monica Pier - a long pier right on thebeach with an amusement park, vendors, and amazing views of the ocean. It was beautiful! We rode roller coasters, played games, ate delicious food, and dipped our feet in the cold Pacific.I had never seen an ocean that enormous in real life before. The next few days were a total blur of activities. One day we went hiking in the Hollywood Hills and got to see the famous Hollywood sign up close. Another day we went on a movie studio tour to see how they make movies and TV shows. We walked along the Hollywood Walk of Fame and saw the handprints of famous actors outside the iconic Chinese Theater. We took so many pictures! But of course, the highlight was going to Disneyland! Walking through those gates and into the park was like entering a completely new world of magic and fantasy. Everything was so bright, colorful and happy. We rode every rollercoaster, spinning ride, and even took a trip through the Haunted Mansion. We got to meet and take pictures with Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and all the Disney Princesses. It was simply the best day ever.On our last day, we relaxed by the pool at our hotel, got massages, and did some shopping on the famous Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. We passed by mansion after massive mansion, many owned by famous celebrities. It was absolutely wild seeing how the other half lives. After over a week of adventuring, it was sadly time to start the long journey back to Kansas. This time the drive seemed to fly by as I daydreamed about all the incredible memories we had made. It was honestly the funnest trip I had ever been on.When we finally made it back home, I spent days showing my dad all the pictures and videos from the trip. I told him every single detail about seeing the Pacific Ocean, walking through Hollywood, and most importantly, my time at Disneyland. He seemed so happy that mom and I got to make such special memories together. Now whenever I think about that California trip, I can't help but smile from ear-to-ear. Sure, mom and I bickered a few times and I ate way too many French fries. But that's all part of what made it so perfect. Just me and my mom, out exploring the world and having the time of our lives. Those are memories I will cherish forever. I absolutely cannot wait for our next big mother-son adventure!篇2Traveling with MomYay, it was finally summer vacation! No more homework, no more waking up super early, and best of all, no more school for a whole 2 months! I was so excited thinking about all the fun things I could do. Maybe I could sleep in every day until noon. Or maybe I could play video games all day and all night. This was going to be the best summer ever! But then, my mom told me we were going on a big trip together. Just me and her on a mother-son adventure! At first, I wasn't really sure how I felt about that. Don't get me wrong, I love my mom, but spending weeks straight with just her didn't sound like that much fun to me. What about all my amazing summer plans? This trip was really going to ruin everything!Little did I know, this trip would end up being one of the most amazing experiences of my life. First, we went to New York City, which is seriously the coolest place ever! The skyscrapers seemed to touch the clouds, and there were massive crowds of people everywhere we went. I couldn't believe how busy and loud and bright everything was, nothing like our tiny little town back home.We visited some of the most iconic landmarks, like the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, and Central Park. My favorite was definitely the museum though. We spent an entireday at the American Museum of Natural History, checking out the humongous dinosaur skeletons and artifacts from ancient civilizations. For a history buff like me, it was a dream come true. After NYC, we traveled all the way to the other side of the country to see the Grand Canyon. Driving through the desert with the windows rolled down, I could feel the hot, dry air brushing against my face. The landscape looked like something from another planet, with towering red rock formations stretching as far as the eye could see. Finally, we made it to the canyon itself, and I've never seen anything like it before in my life. It was a massive, gaping hole in the ground, a mile deep and up to 18 miles wide in some spots. The sheer size of it made me feel so small and insignificant. The vibrant orange, red, and yellow colors seemed to glow in the setting sun. Standing on the edge of the rim, it felt like I was on top of the whole world. Just breathtaking. After the Grand Canyon, we went camping for a few nights in the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. Getting away from the noise and chaos of the city was really refreshing. We spent our days hiking through the lush, green forest, climbing over fallen logs, and splashing in the streams. At night, we roasted marshmallowsover the campfire and slept in our little tent surrounded by towering trees and shooting stars. One of my favorite moments was when we were finishing up a hike and spotted a family of bears in the distance. Seeing those powerful animals in their natural habitat instead of at a zoo was so cool! We watched from really far away as the mama bear played with her cubs, running around and wrestling with each other. I'm so glad mom brought the camera because we got some amazing pictures and videos. On our final stop, we flew all the way down to Florida to spend some time at the beach. I've always loved the ocean, but I'd only seen it a couple times before. Getting to actually swim and play in the bright teal water for a week straight was awesome! We built mega sandcastles, collected a ton of unique seashells, and even tried some fun water sports like kayaking and snorkeling. While snorkeling, we got to see a huge variety of beautiful, tropical fish just swimming around us. We spotted clownfish hiding among the waving anemones, schools of neon-colored fish zooming past, and even one massive sea turtle slowly making its way through the crystal clear water. Marine life is sofascinating and otherworldly, almost like aliens living in their own underwater universe. On our very last day at the beach, we signed up for a sunset dolphin watching tour on a little boat. Seeing those playful dolphins gracefully leaping out of the waves at golden hour was definitely the perfect ending to our trip. The sun was a vibrant orange globe slowly sinking into the horizon, splashing the sky with brilliant pinks, purples, and reds. It was just me, mom, the dolphins, and that gorgeous cotton candy sunset. An amazing moment I'll never forget.Looking back on our summer adventure, I realized that trip was so much more than just seeing cool places. It was special bonding time that brought me and my mom closer together. Between all the driving, exploring, and sharing new experiences, we made a ton of great memories and inside jokes that I'll cherish forever. While the museums, mountains, and beaches were all stunning, the real magic was getting to spend so much quality time with my best friend, my mom.So if you ever get the chance to go on an awesome trip like that, especially with someone you love, you've got to go for it! Don't think twice. Get out there and start making your ownincredible memories. Maybe your adventure will be the journey of a lifetime too. Thanks for reading about mine!篇3A Fun Trip with My MomLast summer, I got to go on a really fun trip with just me and my mom! We went to a place called New York City. It's a huge city with tall buildings, bright lights, and lots of people and cars. I was so excited because I had never been anywhere like that before! The trip started when we took a plane from our city to New York. I had been on planes before but never for such a long flight. It took almost 5 hours! I read books, played games on my tablet, and looked out the window a lot. Finally we could see New York coming into view with all the skyscrapers. It looked amazing from way up high in the sky.Once we landed and got our bags, we took a taxi to our hotel in the middle of Manhattan. The taxi driver was kind of rude and drove really fast, but that's just how people are in big cities I guess. Our hotel room was on one of the top floors so we had an incredible view in every direction. I could see the Statue of Liberty way off in the distance which was really cool.On our first full day there, we went to Central Park. It's a huge park right in the middle of the city that takes up many city blocks. We walked around the paths, saw street performers, and rented bicycles to explore even more of the park. We also went on this funny boat ride around a lake and got to feed the ducks and geese. For lunch we got hot dogs from a food cart which was my first time trying a real New York hot dog.The next day we did some of the most touristy things possible. We took a ferry ride to visit the Statue of Liberty and go up inside it to the observation deck. Seeing the iconic statue up close was amazing. You could see the entire NYC skyline behind it too. We also went to the Top of the Rock observation deck at Rockefeller Center. From up there you can see everything - the Empire State Building, Central Park, the Hudson River, you name it.One of the highlights was visiting the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. It was a very emotional experience walking around the two reflecting pool memorials where the Twin Towers used to stand. But the museum did an excellent job showing videos, artifacts, and telling stories to honor those who were lost. It made me feel proud to be an American.Another really fun day was when we saw two Broadway shows - Wicked in the afternoon and Aladdin at night. The theatres were beautiful and the shows were absolutely incredible. The singing, dancing, costumes, and special effects were breathtaking. I'll never forget the epic scenes of the wizard battle in Wicked. My mom had to explain some of the humor and romance to me, but I loved every minute. For my favorite meal, we went to this famous pizza place called Grimaldi's under the Brooklyn Bridge. The coal-fired oven made the crust get this perfect crispy and chewy texture. We also had to try real New York-style cheesecake for dessert. So sweet and creamy! I don't think I can ever eat regular cheesecake again after trying that.We did tons of other stuff too like go to the top of the Empire State Building, take a horse carriage ride through Central Park, see the Christmas decorations at Rockefeller Plaza, and go shopping for souvenirs. I have too many amazing memories from this trip to fit them all here.My favorite part of the whole trip though was just getting to spend so much quality time with my mom. Usually our days are so rushed with school, work, chores, errands, and a million other things going on. But for 5 glorious days, it was just the two of usenjoying New York together. We talked, laughed, explored, and made memories that will last forever.I feel so lucky that my mom took me on such an awesome trip where we got to experience a totally new city and do all these cool activities. Not every kid my age gets opportunities like that. My mom works really hard for our family, so this trip was an amazing treat for her too. I cherish the bonding time we had and all the fun new things we experienced in New York City. It's a trip I'll never forget!篇4Going on a Trip with My MomYay! Summer vacation was finally here and I was super excited. No more school for a whole three months! That meant lots of fun times with my friends and family. My mom promised me we would go on a special trip together since I had worked really hard all year in school. I couldn't wait to find out where we were going!A few days into summer break, my mom called me into the living room. "Jack, I have a surprise for you!" she said with a big smile on her face. She pulled out two airplane tickets from an envelope. "We're going to Hawaii for a week!"My jaw dropped and my eyes went wide. Hawaii?! I had always dreamed of going to those beautiful islands with the bright blue ocean, sandy beaches, and tall palm trees. Some of my friends had gone to Hawaii before and they said it was like paradise. I gave my mom a huge hug, jumping up and down. "Thank you, thank you, thank you! I'm so excited!"Over the next few days, we got everything ready for our trip.I could hardly sleep I was so thrilled. Finally the morning came when we would head to the airport. The flight was really long, around 6 hours from our city. But there were movies to watch and snacks to eat, so it wasn't too bad. I stared out the window in awe when I got my first glimpse of the islands from the sky. When we landed and stepped outside, the warm tropical air hit my face and it felt amazing. The islands really were like nowhere else I'd ever been. As we drove to our hotel, I pressed my face against the window, not wanting to miss a thing. There were beaches, palm trees, and blue ocean everywhere I looked. Our hotel was right on the beach and had a huge pool area too. This was going to be the best week ever!Over the next few days, we did so many fun things in Hawaii. We went swimming and snorkeling in the incredibly blue and clear ocean. I saw so many bright, tropical fish and even a seaturtle! We walked along some beautiful beaches, with the golden sand squishing between my toes. We took a tour where we went hiking through the jungle and up a mountain to see an amazing waterfall. The water was super refreshing after the long, humid hike.Another day we went on a boat tour around the island. The tour guide told us all about the Hawaiian culture and history, which I thought was really interesting. We even got to see some whales spouting water way out in the distance! I'll never forget those massive gentle giants. We also visited a volcano park and saw aweinspiring craters and lava rocks. My favorite was definitely getting to sample authentic Hawaiian foods like poi, kalua pork, and haupia coconut pudding. The flavors were like nothing I'd ever tasted before! On our last full day, mom surprised me by signing us up for a beginner's surf lesson. We got to learn how to paddle out and catch the smaller waves. It was really hard at first, but finally I was able to stand up on the board and ride a few waves all the way to the shore! What an incredible feeling of accomplishment. After that week of adventures, it was sadly time to head back home. As we got ready to leave our hotel room, I started to feel alittle down. I didn't want this amazing dream vacation to end. But mom could see I was upset and gave me a big hug."Don't be sad, Jack," she said gently. "We'll always have the wonderful memories from this trip. And who knows, maybe we can come back to Hawaii again someday!"She was right. That trip to Hawaii was truly one of the most fun, eye-opening, and magical experiences of my life so far. Not just because of the amazing scenery and activities, but because I got to share it all with my mom, just the two of us. We made so many priceless memories that I'll never forget. Thanks mom, for the adventure of a lifetime!篇5Traveling with My MomHi there! My name is Billy and I'm a 5th grader. I want to tell you all about the awesome trip I took with my mom last summer. We went to Florida and had the best time ever!It all started when school let out in June. My mom asked me where I wanted to go for our summer vacation. I thought about it for a while. Should we go to the beach? Maybe Disneyland? Then it hit me - why not do both? So I told my mom I wanted to go to Florida because it has amazing beaches AND Walt Disney World! My mom was really excited when I said that. She said "Great choice, Billy! Florida is the perfect spot for fun in the sun and visiting Mickey Mouse." We started planning our big trip right away. Mom looked up hotels, booked our flights, and figured out what parks and activities we would do. I was so pumped! Finally, in late July, it was time to go. We woke up super early to catch our flight from Chicago to Orlando. I had never been on a plane before so I was a little nervous. But my mom helped me feel better by pointing out all the cool clouds and letting me have the window seat. After what felt like forever, we finally landed in sunny Florida! Our hotel was right near the Disney parks which was awesome. We dropped our stuff off and headed straight to the Magic Kingdom. It was even better than I imagined! We went on epic rides like Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, and my favorite - Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Mom isn't the biggest fan of rollercoasters but she was such a good sport about going on them with me.We also got to meet lots of Disney characters which was a dream come true. I gave Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy big hugs. My mom thought it was hilarious how excited I got. Wewatched amazing parades and fireworks shows too. Disney really is the most magical place on Earth! After a few days at Disney, it was time to hit the beach. We drove over to Cocoa Beach which is right near Cape Canaveral on the Atlantic coast. Let me tell you, the sand and ocean were out of this world! The water was so warm and a gorgeous turquoise color. We spent our days swimming, boogie boarding, and building huge sandcastles. In the evenings, we'd watch rocket launches from Cape Canaveral which was super cool. One of my favorite memories from the trip was when we went deep sea fishing one morning. A nice boat captain took us way out into the ocean to try and catch some big fish. I didn't have much luck but my mom reeled in a massive red snapper! She was so proud and I thought it was awesome how she wasn't afraid to get her hands dirty and bait her own hook. We had the snapper cooked up for dinner that night and it was delicious. All too soon, our amazing Florida vacation came to an end. I was really sad to leave but so grateful we got to experience such an incredible trip together. My mom worked so hard to make it the best week ever for me. She's simply the best!On our way home, I remember asking my mom if we could come back to Florida next summer. She laughed and said "Let'stake it one year at a time, kiddo! Maybe next summer we can go somewhere new and exciting." I can't wait to see where we go next and make more amazing mom-and-son memories. If you ever get the chance to take a trip somewhere fun with your mom, you totally should! Moms are the greatest and they'll make sure you have an unforgettable adventure. Just get ready for lots of cheesy mom jokes and embarrassing dancing along the way!。

沙滩上玩铲子和桶英语作文

沙滩上玩铲子和桶英语作文Playing with Shovels and Buckets on the Beach。

Summer is the perfect time for a trip to the beach. The sun is shining, the water is warm, and the sand is perfect for playing with shovels and buckets. As a child, I loved nothing more than spending hours on the beach, building sandcastles and digging moats with my trusty tools. There's something magical about the beach that brings out the child in all of us. Maybe it's the sound of the waves crashing against the shore, or the salty sea air that fills our lungs. Whatever it is, it's impossible not tofeel happy and carefree when you're on the beach. One of my favorite beach activities was always playing with shovels and buckets. With just a few simple tools, you can create an entire world of sandcastles, tunnels, and moats. The possibilities are endless, and the only limit is your imagination.I remember spending hours on the beach with my friends, each of us armed with our own shovel and bucket. We would work together to create elaborate sandcastles, complete with towers, walls, and even drawbridges. We would dig moats and tunnels, and even create little pools of water where we could splash around and cool off.Playing with shovels and buckets on the beach is not only fun, but it's also a great way to exercise your creativity and problem-solving skills. You have to think strategically about how to build your sandcastle, and work together with your friends to make it happen. But perhaps the best part of playing with shovels and buckets on the beach is the sense of freedom and joy it brings. There are no rules, no deadlines, and no expectations. You can take as long as you want to build your sandcastle, and if it doesn't turn out quite right, you can always start over.In today's fast-paced world, it's easy to forget thesimple pleasures of childhood. But playing with shovels and buckets on the beach is a timeless activity that never gets old. So the next time you find yourself on the beach, grab a shovel and bucket and let your imagination run wild. You might just be surprised at what you can create.。

月底赶海好吗英文作文

月底赶海好吗英文作文

月底赶海好吗英文作文Title: Is Going Coastal for Clam Digging Worth It?When it comes to the end of the month, there's a time-honored tradition in many coastal communities: clam digging. But is it really worth the effort? Let's dive into thetopic and explore the pros and cons.Firstly, let's talk about the positives. There's something inherently satisfying about heading out to the beach with a bucket and shovel, scouring the sand for these tasty bivalves. It's a great way to connect with nature and enjoy some fresh air and exercise. Plus, if you're successful, you'll be rewarded with a delicious meal at the end of the day.Another benefit of clam digging is the cost savings. Buying fresh seafood at the market can be expensive, but harvesting your own clams can save you a significant amount of money. Plus, there's a certain sense of satisfactionthat comes from knowing you gathered the food yourself. On the flip side, there are some downsides to consider. For one thing, clam digging can be hard work. It requires patience, stamina, and a willingness to get your hands dirty. Plus, there's no guarantee of success. Sometimes you might spend hours on the beach only to come away empty-handed.There are also environmental concerns to think about. Overharvesting can deplete clam populations and disrupt the delicate balance of the ecosystem. It's important to harvest responsibly and follow local regulations to ensure that future generations can continue to enjoy this tradition. Finally, there's the issue of safety. Clam digging can be hazardous, especially if you're not familiar with the area or the tides. It's important to exercise caution and be aware of potential dangers such as sharp shells, strong currents, and sudden weather changes. In conclusion, whether or not going coastal for clam digging is worth it depends on your perspective. For some, the opportunity to connect with nature and enjoy a delicious meal is well worth the effort. For others, the challenges and risks involved may outweigh the benefits. Ultimately, it's a personal decision that each individual must make for themselves.。

It's a siren call that whispers promises of relaxation, adventure, and a chance to escape the mundane. As I sit here, the humdrum of daily life fading into background noise, I find myself sketching out a plan for a seaside getaway, a chance to answer the ocean's call. My ideal coastal retreat begins with a picturesque location. I imagine a charming seaside town, perhaps nestled along the rugged coastline of Cornwall, England, or bathed in the golden sunlight of the Italian Riviera. Quaint cobblestone streets would lead meto a cozy bed and breakfast, its windows overlooking the azure expanse of the sea. The sound of waves crashing against the shore would serve as a soothing soundtrack, lulling me to sleep each night and greeting me each morning. This story is dedicated to Domino, who has provided us with years of
companionship and love.
Domino is a Boston Terrier. She likes to play with her toys and enjoys her family.
Domino sat one Tuesday, looking so sad.
She wanted something exciting to do, but it was too cold outside.
We asked Domino if she would like to go to the beach to visit Alex.
She was so excited!
Alex was Domino's human brother who moved far away to a beautiful town on the
coast of New Jersey.
We traveled many hours in the car. Domino was very good and sat patiently in her seat. We made frequent stops at doggie friendly areas.
On the way to the hotel, we stopped and surprised Alex. He had no idea that
Domino was coming to visit him.
When we arrived at the hotel, Domino was a little nervous, but happy to be out of
the car so she could stretch her legs.
The sand was soft on Domino's paws and there were so many new scents.
The waves came up and got her feet wet. She didn't like that very much and made
certain to not get too close the the ocean.
Domino saw lots of things that she had never seen before.
The gulls were quite odd to Domino. The noise they made sounded like laughter.
What funny birds. Nothing like the small birds at home.
Afterward, Domino needed a nap as she was so tired from her busy day.
The next day Domino went sight-seeing at a nearby town. It was a nice walk through the streets lined with quaint shops.
Domino went on the boardwalk. Dogs usually aren't allowed on the boardwalk, but since it was the off-season there were only a few people so no one minded that she was there. She stopped so some little girls could visit with her.
Domino had a few bites of peanut butter frozen custard, yum!!!
Domino saw some huge concrete beach balls.
They wouldn't roll or bounce so they weren't too much fun for dogs to play with.
We went metal detecting on the beach. I bet domino hoped that we would findsome dog bones buried in the sand, but we only found a few old metal bottle caps. We threw them in the trash because we want to make sure the beaches are clean and free of trash that can cut our feet or paws.
She took a nap with Alex. I bet Domino had sweet dreams of the birds laughing as the cool waves covered her paws or the sweet taste of frozen custard or how nice
it was to visit with him.
We left for the long ride back home with fond memories of all of the fun adventures that we shared. We look forward for another vacation adventure with
our furry family member, Domino.
Good bye, Jersey Shore. We hope to come back soon! Woof, woof!
Here are some tips if you want to take your pet on vacation:
Make reservations at a pet friendly hotel a head of time. Sometimes there are special rules
and extra charges for pets.
Never leave your pet in a car alone where they might become over heated or afraid.
It is your responsibility to clean up after your pet.
Make sure that you have everything that you need to make your pet feel at home while
traveling.
Make frequent stops so your dog can stretch.
Have water that your pet can sip on.
Have your pet vaccinations and license up to date and available.
Choose a location where your pet won't spending the whole trip in the hotel room. That
won't be a fun vacation for them at all.
Keep your pet on a leash to avoid accidents or confrontations with people that may not
care for animals.
Talk to your veterinarian before your trip.
Look on the internet for ideas on things to do and local regulations for pets.。
