雅思(写作)模拟试卷246(题后含答案及解析) 题型有:1. WRITING TASK 1 2. WRITING TASK 2
WRITING TASK 1You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
1.The charts below show the percentage of water used for different purposes in six areas of the world.
正确答案:The pie charts present information on industrial, agricultural and domestic water usage in six different parts of the world. As is seen from the given illustration, water consumption for agricultural purpose is dominant in Asian, African and South American region whereas water is mainly used for industrial purpose in North America and Europe. As the pie charts depict, more than 80% water is consumed for agriculture in African and Asian region. South American water consumption goes 71% for the same purpose. As those countries major percentages of water consumption are for agriculture, the percentages of water use in industries and houses are less than 20% in combination in Asian area, while South America uses 29% water for domestic and industrial purposes. On the other hand, larger portion of water is used for industries in North America and Europe which are 48% and 53% respectively. They both use less than 40% water for agriculture. Again the domestic water consumption is higher in America and Europe around 15% than that of Asian and African region.

WRITING TASK 2You should spend about 40 minutes on this task.
2.You should spend about 40 minutes on this task.Write about the following topic:Many people believe that strong tradition helps to civilise a nation and that governments should therefore subsidise musicians, theatre companies, actors and artists. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement? What you think governments should do to promote the traditional cultural heritage of a country?Give
reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.Write at least 250 words.
正确答案:It has been argued that the government should pay to promote the uniqueness of a country’s culture by subsidising the artists, musicians and actors which keep culture alive. I strongly agree that a government should fund its citizens’cultural pursuits, since part of a government’s responsibility includes the preservation of its people’s own unique cultural traditions. In fact, some art projects definitely require help from the state. In Beijing, for example, there are many works of art in public spaces, such as streets or squares in city centres. These artworks represent culture, heritage and history. They serve to educate people about the city, and act as landmarks or talking points for visitors and tourists. Governments and local councils should pay creative artists to produce this kind of art, because without their funding our cities would be much less interesting and attractive. If a government wants to preserve and maintain the art and music which is historically traditional to its country, it must take steps to insure that those traditions are valued and fostered. Firstly, government can help maintain the cultural traditions of a country by using tax money to build theatres, music and concert halls, galleries and museums. By providing venues for artists, musicians and actors to practice, perform and exhibit their arts, the government is helping people come together to participate in traditional creative activities. Furthermore, governments could provide grants, scholarships and education to artists and musicians who are prepared to make special contributions to the preservation of a country’s traditional music and art.In conclusion, I believe that governments should provide venues and offer grants and subsidies to artists and musicians of traditional music and art, to maintain the strong tradition of the country.。
