【教学过程】
Step 1. Presentation
1. Ask students to answer some questions and present prepositions of time.
1) What time do you go to school every day?
2) When do you usually have your Chinese lessons/ history lessons?
3) When do you often do your homework?
4) Do you have classes on Sundays?
2. Help students to think of more ways of using ‘at, on and in’.
3. Look at the table on P47 and find out the ways of using ‘at, on and in’. Step 2. Practice
1. Finish the exercises on P47.
2. Read the e-mail together.
Step 3. Presentation
1. Ask students to complete some sentences and present the adverbs of
frequency.
2. Let the students know how to use the adverbs of frequency.
Step 4. Practice
1. Get the students to complete the sentences on P48.
2. Ask students to remember the adverbs of frequency.
3. Prepare a conversation about his/ her day, using the correct preposition of
time and adverbs of frequency.
Step 5. Homework
Finish off the exercises on the teaching and learning paper.
【语法小贴士】
1.表示时间的介词in, on, at基本用法：
1)表达具体某一天的早、中、晚用介词on.
e.g. _______ a cold morning
______ the afternoon of 9th October
_______ Sunday evening
2)在this, last, next, every等词前面既不加介词，也不用冠词。

e.g. 今天下午__________________________.
每个星期五________________________.
下个星期一________________________.
上周三____________________________.
