英语作文四年级下册我最喜欢的星期My Favorite Day of the Week

Do you have a favorite day of the week? I sure do! It's Saturday, and boy, do I love Saturdays! Let me tell you why.

First of all, there's no school on Saturdays! That means I get to sleep in and don't have to wake up super early like on school days. I hate waking up when it's still dark outside. On Saturdays, I can snuggle under my warm blankets for as long as I want. Sometimes I even stay in bed until noon! My mom lets me do that on Saturdays because she knows how much I love sleeping in.

Another reason I love Saturdays is that I get to watch my favorite cartoons all morning long. My parents let me sit on the couch in my pajamas and watch as many episodes of my favorite shows as I want. I love cartoons with funny characters doing silly things. They always make me laugh out loud. My little sister sometimes joins me, but most of the time it's just me, a big bowl of cereal, and hours of non-stop cartoon fun!

The best part of Saturdays, though, is that I get to hang out with my friends all day long. We like to ride our bikes around the neighborhood or play at the park. Sometimes we have

sleepovers and stay up late watching movies and eating junk food. My parents are pretty cool about letting me do that on Saturdays since I don't have school the next day.

Last Saturday, my friends and I went to the new trampoline park that just opened up in our town. It was so much fun! We spent hours jumping and doing flips and tricks. I was pretty sore the next day, but it was totally worth it. We also love going to the arcade or the bowling alley on Saturdays. Anywhere we can goof around and have a good time!

On nice Saturdays, we'll pack a picnic lunch and hike up to our favorite spot in the woods behind my house. There's a little clearing with a creek running through it, and we'll spend hours splashing in the water and exploring. We pretend we're brave explorers discovering new lands. Sometimes we bring fishing poles along, too, and try to catch minnows or crawfish in the creek. We've never actually caught any fish, but it's still fun to try.

As you can probably tell, I really love being outdoors and active on Saturdays. But sometimes, if the weather is bad or I'm just feeling lazy, I'll have my friends over to my house instead. We'll build epic forts out of couch cushions and blankets, then camp out in them all day playing video games and eating snacks. My mom makes the best nachos for us on days like that. We'll

snuggle up and watch movies, too, or have epic Nerf gun battles through the fort maze we've built.

No matter what we end up doing, though, Saturdays are always the best days. They're fun and relaxing, with no school or homework to worry about. I get to stay up late, sleep in, eat all my favorite junk foods, and just be a total kid. I love the freedom of Saturdays and the fact that I can fill them up however I want.

I know that someday, when I'm all grown up, I probably won't get to have Saturdays off anymore. Grown-ups have to work during the weekends a lot. That's why I try to make the most of every single Saturday I have now, while I'm still a kid. I pack as much fun and silliness and laughter into those days as I possibly can. After all, that's what being a kid is all about!

So that's why Saturdays are my absolute favorite day of the week. From start to finish, they're just pure fun and freedom. No responsibilities, no schedules, no worries. Just me, my friends, and a whole day stretched out ahead of us to fill however we want. I live for Saturdays, and I'll miss them so much when I'm older. I'm already dreading the day when Saturday stops being a day for cartoons and forts and picnics by the creek. But for now, I'm just going to keep being a kid and enjoying every single second of my favorite day!
