一、单元话题生成
本单元的话题是“时间”.学生要学习用英语询间和表达时间及各时间点的主要活动,核心语言是:What time is it? ... It's time to \for... Let' 8..从教材编排来看,主要呈现时差知识以及课本人物如何谈论时间及作息活动等。

日常教学中,教师一般会按照教材的安排,形成常规的话题体系:Time to go home (A Let's talk ),John's timetable(A Let's lean), Time for school (B Let's talk ),Zhang Peng'6 timetable (B Let's learn), Amy's day ( Read and write)。

从学生的素养发展目标出发,我们可以将话题定位在学生对时间的深度认知上,从感知时间的重要性,到如何合理把握时间、有效管理时间,引导学生成为学习和生活的主人。

本课时的教学内容是第一课时,包含PartA Let’s talk&Let’s learn。

主题定为:John’s day。

在教学过程中结合主题,学生年龄段特点对教学内容稍作删减与补充。

二、教学目标
1.理解talk部分对话大意,并能用正确的语音、语调朗读对话。

2.在情景中运用句型What time is it? It’s...o’clock. 询问并回答;在情景中运用句型It’s time for....等说明某个时间点做某事。

3.在语境中理解生词breakfast、English class、music class...的意思。

4.引导学生初步了解地球上不同时区在同一时刻的时间是不同的;培养学生严格的时间观念,养成守时的好习惯。

四、教学过程
一、Warm up
1.In this class I’ll divide you into four groups. You’re Group1、Group2 ...If you can answer my questions well in this class, you can get a card for your group. The winner group can get a gift. Look! What’s this? It’s a clock. I’ll give it to the winner group. Try your best to do it, OK? Look! What time is it? It’s...o’clock. It’s time for English class. Are you ready?

Yes, it’s about time. Today we are going to learn Unit2 PartA John’s timetable.
