Secondly water pollution is also a significant concern. The discharge of industrial wastewater and domestic sewage has led to the deterioration of water quality affecting the survival of aquatic life and human health. Therefore we need to strengthen the supervision of wastewater discharge and promote the use of watersaving technologies.
In addition the destruction of forest resources and land degradation are also severe environmental issues. Deforestation and land reclamation have led to soil erosion and the loss of biodiversity. To protect forest resources we should implement reforestation projects and strengthen the protection of natural reserves.
Moreover waste management is another crucial aspect of environmental protection. The improper disposal of waste can lead to environmental pollution and the waste of resources. We should promote the concept of waste sorting and recycling and improve waste treatment facilities.
