Teaching Plan for Unit 2 in Grade 7 Book 1
【教学目标】
1. 掌握动物的名字及其问候语,如“Goodbye!”,“Hello, I am a/an…”等。
2. 学会用英语介绍自己喜欢的动物。
3. 通过展示图片、听录音等方式,培养学生的听说能力。
4. 能够学习和运用重点词汇和句型。
【教学重难点】
1. 学会用英语介绍自己喜欢的动物。
2. 能够学习和运用重点词汇和句型。
【教学准备】
教材:七年级英语上册《Go for it!》
教具:图片、录音机、小黑板、单词卡片
【教学过程】
Step 1 Introduction (2 minutes)
1. Greet the students and have a warm-up conversation about animals.
2. Show some pictures of animals and elicit the names of the animals from the students.
Step 2 Presentation (10 minutes)
1. Play the recording of the dialogue between Mike and Lily, and ask the students to listen carefully.
2. Play the recording again and have the students repeat after it.
3. Use the pictures to introduce new words: lion, tiger, elephant, monkey, zebra, giraffe.
4. Use the pictures to introduce the sentence pattern "Hello, I am a/an…"
Step 3 Practice (12 minutes)
1. Show pictures of different animals to ask students which one they like.
2. Have the students form pairs and practice the dialogue using the sentence pattern "Hello, I am a/an…" and their favorite animal.
3. Invite some pairs to act out their dialogues in front of the class. Step 4 Play a game (10 minutes)
1. Divide the class into two teams.
2. Show some pictures of animals and ask the teams to guess the names of the animals as quickly as possible.
3. The team that guesses correctly first gets a point.
4. Repeat the game with different pictures.
Step 5 Consolidation (5 minutes)
1. Ask some students to introduce their favorite animals in front of the class using the sentence pattern "Hello, I am a/an…" and their favorite animal.
2. Correct any mistakes and give praise.
Step 6 Homework (1 minute)
1. Review the new words and sentence pattern at home.
2. Write a short paragraph about their favorite animal using the sentence pattern "Hello, I am a/an…" and their favorite animal.
【教后反思】
本节课通过展示图片、听录音等方式,培养了学生的听说能力,提高了学生的学习兴趣。
课堂氛围活跃,学生们积极参与,达到了预期的教学目标。
但是,教学过程中有些学生表现较为被动,应在以后的教学中加以改进,提高学生的主动参与度。
