1.教学内容分析
第一课时为导入部分,通过卡通漫画导入本单元的话题“A day out”,以Eddie和Hobo的非常逗笑的精彩对话,引出外出旅游的话题。
情感目标
通过拓展旅游知识开阔视野。激发学生热爱生活,认真学习的美好情感,丰富学生的想象力。
重难点
除掌握相关词汇外,应更好地操练语法项目——and, but 和or的用法,正确使用不定式,掌握反身代词。

1.Tell students Hobois askingEddiequestions.Play the recording for students to listen and answer the questions.
(1)Is Eddie really going to climb the hill to exercise?

2.Play the recording again for students to listen and repeat.
3.Practice reading in pairs. Ask some students to role-play the dialogue before class.

本课内容是Comic strip和Welcome to the unit,是本单元的第一课时,也是打开学生想象大门的第一步,主要是提起学生的学习兴趣,引导他们进入本单元的学习,通过Eddie和Hobo的精彩对话,引出外出旅游的话题,几个小问题的设置,旨在培养学生有效获取信息的能力。在教学方法的选择上,本着让不同层次的学生都能有收获,又体现教师主导作用的原则,采用自主、合作、探究的方法;在课堂教学流程的设计上,力求做到板块之间的连接自然。既夯实基础,又突出重点、训练能力;既从整体上把握全文,又引导学生领略文章的含义,力求提升学生的英语素养和综合运用语言的能力。

Step 1 Warming-up
Bring some pictures to class and give them out to students.
T: Please look at the pictures in your hands and try your best to recognize which places they are. Which place do you want to go? Do you know where all these places are? Do you want to go abroad to visit some places of interest such as...(Show some pictures on the big screen.)

Check the answers. Go through the dialogue and do some explanations about the meaning.

T: So many of you like going to visit places of interest. But in order to enjoy yourself better, you must have strong body. How to keep strong body? If you are free ,are you doing to exercise? What do you think Eddie is going to do?
10.教学反思与改进
有的学生对英语学习缺乏兴趣、自信心和学习动力;在英语课堂上不积极参与,缺少主动发言的热情或根本不愿意发言;另外,相当一部分学生在听新课时跟不上老师的节奏或不能理解教师相对较快的指示语。还有的学生对书本知识不够重视,找不到英语学科复习的有效载体,不能有效的利用课本,适时地回归课本,英语复习缺乏系统性,英语学习缺乏主动性。对此,我决定从以下几方面加强训练:激发学生学习英语的动机,调动其积极性,变被动学习为主动学习;加强学生英语自主学习策略的指导,帮助学生自觉有效的监控自己学习英语的过程;更新教学理念,改进课堂教学。
