4mins Teacher: Good afternoon, class.
Before we begin our new class, I have a
question for you.
What do you usually eat for lunch?
Teacher: Ok, I heard all kinds of foods
such as rice, potatoes , and eggs. Next ,
I will show you some foods and you tell
me the names of them as soon as
possible. Are you ready?
The teacher begins showing the
pictures. When it occurs to some new
words like “
vegetable”, let the students
read after teacher, for 3 times.
After showing these pictures, the
teacher asks the students to have a
discussion.
Teacher: you are so great, guys. Next,
please have a short discussion in your
group. Then , classify these foods into
two categories—healthy and unhealthy
foods.

open your textbooks and turn to page
