This year's summer vacation was most enjoyable. I spent fifteen days helping my grandparents doing farm work in the countryside，where I saw mountains fields covered with green plants. Sometimes I went swimming in the river to the west of the village，the water in which was quite clear.
I kept a diary every day. Besides doing farm work，I help the children in the neighborhood with their lessons. All of them showed interest in English.
They could read write wellthey could hardly understand simple English. So every day in the morning I spent about two hours helping them improve their listening spoken English.
They all made great progress. Their parents all thought highly of me.
I now realize that knowledge is very needed in the countryside.

I like the summer holidy so much. I look forward to summer holiday every year. Last summer, I went to Shen zhen for my holiday, which is also a city of seashore like Haikou.
I enjoyed having a walk along the beach after supper or having a swim in the afternoon. The sky is blue, the air is fersh. Wherever you go, You can always see the green trees, the neat grasses and the colourful flowers. They were really wonderful. Shen Zhen has a lot of tall buildings. And it is a modern city.
I am planning to spend my summer holiday on sports this year.
Playing basketball is always my favourite, so some of my classmates and I will form a small team and play basketball together. Sometimes we may have a match against some other teams and I do enjoy the sense when we win the game.
If you ask me what my favourite summer holiday will be like, traveling aound the only answer. I hope that one day I could meet different people and vist different places of interest.

My winter holiday was very interesting.As that day i got back to my native hometown,cousins and cousines took me to ski.My skiing skill isn't good,got down for 15 times,they laughed at me behind,i can't help smiling， too.
The day of Spring Festival was the most happiness day,we had meal for the first,a table of delicious food,that made me so glad.Then we played the fireworks.
The childrens waving the lightening ticket while watching the adults playing the fireworks.
That was so beautiful!Like the stars rainning down the world.
At the end,it was time to get the red bag.we were very exciting,and satisfied.Sometimes,we also went shopping and bought something we like.
