I am a senior high school student in China. I chose to attend a vocational school because I wanted to learn practical skills that could help me find a job after graduation. I am studying to become a chef, and I love the hands-on experience I get in the kitchen.
My school schedule is different from that of
traditional high schools. I spend half of my time in the classroom learning about food safety, nutrition, and culinary techniques. The other half of my time is spent in the kitchen, where I practice cooking and baking under the guidance of experienced chefs.
I believe that vocational education is just as valuable as traditional academic education. Not everyone is suited for a four-year university, and vocational schools provide an alternative path to success. I am confident that my skills will allow me to find a job in the food industry after I graduate.
In addition to my culinary classes, I also take general education courses such as math, English, and history. I think it's important to have a well-rounded education, even if my main focus is on my vocational training.
I am proud of the education I am receiving at my vocational school. I know that I am gaining valuable skills that will serve me well in the future. I am excited to see where my training will take me, and I am grateful for the opportunities that vocational education has provided me.。
