Beautiful Summer
Although it is early summer, the weather is very hot and humid. The sun shines fiercely on the earth, making me feel dizzy. In this hot summer, why not go for a walk by the lake? When I arrived at the lake, I immediately felt the oncoming water vapor, which made me feel cool. The breeze blew the fine bangs on my forehead, which made me feel itchy. It filled my pockets and blew my shirt up. If I smelled it, I could find that the breeze was full of the fragrance of grass. I could also hear the rustling sound of the grass in the wind. The deep blue lake also had ripples due to the wind. I couldn't help but sigh, why is there no lotus in such a good lake? If the lotus was still there, I could appreciate its quiet blooming, or perhaps I could have the luck to smell its faint and refreshing fragrance. The lake was full of round boulders. Xiao Xinxin and I sat on the boulders of various shapes and chatted casually. We also threw some small stones into the lake from time to time. I don't kno w why, but I found it very interesting. I couldn't help but look up at the blue sky. There was not a single cloud, only a few swallows flew lightly occasionally. My eyes accidentally touched the dazzling sun, and I suddenly felt a burning pain in my eyes, which made me quickly squint my eyes that were covered with my hands. Taking a leisurely stroll on the gravel road, I couldn't help but feel as if something was missing, and this feeling lasted for a long time and could not be shaken off... Perhaps it was because I couldn't hear the lonely and sad flute sounds that seemed to fall from the sky; perhaps it was because I didn't see the endless green lotus leaves; or perhaps... The setting sun dripped into the lake like blood, which meant that a ray of setting sun was spread in the water, and half of the river was red. But this also meant that I had to go back, so let me take another look at it. So, under the shining of the brilliant sunset, I looked back and took a deep look at the lake that I have always loved deeply.。
