As is widely recognized, the Internet is an efficient tool which has revolutionized people's life. What's more, it serves as a platform where people can express opinions, seek advice, and participate in different discussions. Therefore, it is understandable that people are fascinated by it and rely on it to some extent. However, one thing we need to realize is that the Internet has limitations. It cannot replace face-to-face communication, which is the basis of all social activities. We need to interact with each other, to talk, to touch, and to listen in person in order to get the real pleasure of human relationships. Social life is far more than a virtual game. It requires human emotions and involvement, which cannot be achieved solely through the Internet. Therefore, it is necessary for people to keep alert to the potential negative impact of the Internet on social activities and pay attention to them. In conclusion, people should make reasonable use of the Internet and meanwhile, try to take part in various social activities to enrich real life.
