英国留学申请材料中的申请文书部分主要包括：个人陈述(PS)、推荐信、简历。
什么是个人陈述?个人陈述(PersonalStatement，简称PS)是申请英国大学时，由申请人写的一篇关于自我介绍的漫谈体文章，是申请英国大学本科课程和硕士课程必要且极其重要的申请材料之一。
主要用于描述申请者的个人背景、申请目的、研究方向等信息，是申请材料中较重要却也比较难把握的。
英国大学录取学生和发放奖学金，都是通过全面、综合考察申请人的条件来决定。
一篇成功的个人陈述不但应该语言流畅、逻辑严谨、层次分明，更要充分显示申请人的才华，并抓住审阅人的注意力。
英国大学审核个人陈述时，通常会问以下几个问题我们是否想要这个学生来学习这门课程?我们是否想要这个学生来我们的学校学习?个人陈述应当包含以下内容1、为什么要申请这个课程?2、对申请学校和专业是否了解?3、是否有独特的人生经历?4、为什么对这个专业有兴趣?5、有哪些社会实践?6、最终的事业目标是什么?7、是否具备杰出的品格，比如诚实、可靠、善良、刻苦等等，能否提供真凭实据来加以证明?是否具备值得一提的很好的、特别的工作习惯和态度，以及禀性上的优势。
8、具备什么样的特殊才能，如分析能力、领导才能和交流才能?为什么比别的申请者更具有在事业上成功的把握?9、个人陈述的写作原则是什么?个人陈述的结构一般来说，从开头的导论开始就需要申请者花一半的长度来讲述申请者对专业的认知以及申请者为什么要申请这个专业，后一半的话就谈谈申请者自己以及申请者的特殊技能。
还有，另外一种办法就是将申请者前面做过的纪录分为几个类别，然后每一个类别写一段，比如：第1段：专业认识，以及其中吸引申请者的部分，谈谈为什么。
第2段：在与这个专业相关的领域上都做了什么。

英国大学申请材料
1．(1)已毕业的学生提供：毕业证和学位证的复印件，大学四年成绩单原件6份（成绩单要加盖学校公章）;
(2)没毕业的学生提供：大学三年成绩单原件6份（成绩单要加盖学校公章）;
在读证明(为保证在读证明的准确性，由我公司负责制作,学生只需要到学
校盖章即可);
(3)已参加工作的人员要提供：工作证明。
（以上文件在15天之内给我）
2．(1)在校的学生提供：2封自己的大学老师的推荐信；
(2)已参加工作的人员要提供： 1封自己大学老师的推荐信，另一份是自己的
老板/上司的的推荐信，
（我方可为客人代写推荐信，我方需要的信息包括，推荐人的姓名、性别、职务、职称及与本人的关系、联系方式电话和电邮、和联系地址）（10天之
内给我我可以提前书写推荐信）
3．需要本人的个人成长经历包括自己的工作经历和自己想攻读的专业方向，（同时提供自己单位信纸一叠和信封7个，也需要10天之内给我可提前书写学习计划和PS）
4．个人在高中和大学期间所获得奖项的复印件。

我们对提供的申请材料的标准及要求
1.申请表的填写
1）清晰打印或复印各大学最新版的申请表，并完整填写申请表中要求申请人填写的各项信息，尽量请申请人本人签名。
2）明确学生申请的课程和入学时间，最好是提前与学生将学习计划确定好，以免出错。
3）如语言成绩未考，请在“语言成绩”处填写将要考试的时间。
4）以下大学请填写推荐人表格，同推荐信一起签名并装封：曼彻斯特大学，斯特灵大学的管理学院，爱丁堡大学；另外爱丁堡大学要求申请人提交申请时附一张2寸彩照，而且该校MSc in Finance and Investment专业需在申请时缴纳25英镑申请费，该费用不退还，希望贵公司向申请人解释清楚。
我公司一般要求申请人缴纳相当金额的人民币后（约合400元，会随汇率变化），由公司开具一张25磅的支票，同该申请人的材料一起寄出。
2.个人简历
1）原则上如果是在校生，可以不提供简历。
但如果该生在大学期间从事过具体项目的研究或参加各项活动获奖或获得很多职业证书等与申请专业相关的信息较多时，需提供。
2）如果工作经验较丰富，或申请必须要工作经验的专业（如MBA,HRM,EDUCATION）时，需提供。
3.个人陈述（PS）
1）如果申请人申请的课程与其本人的教育背景相关，则需重点说明为什么还想在该领域就读硕士，为什么选择该大学，自己就读该专业有什么特长，学成后有何打算等。
2）如果申请人申请的为转专业课程，除了以上内容外，还需重点说明为什么自己要转专业。
3）PS中最好有具体实例，或有充实的统计数据等来说明想表达的问题，不要使用过多的形容词或复杂的从句。
4.推荐信
1）已经工作的申请人请提供一份大学教授推荐信及一份雇主推荐信。
2）在读学生可提供两封教授推荐信，但如果有较好的实习单位，也可请单位提供一份，但不是必须要求。
3）推荐信中要详细注明推荐人的职位或学历如：（Dr.或 Professor等）通信地址，联系电话（办公电话），email及传真（但不是必须）。
4）推荐信内容一定要用推荐人所在单位或院校的抬头信纸打印，并用印有单位名称的信封封口。
（用9号标准信封封口即可）
5）如果申请表中推荐人的信息已经填写完整，请把推荐信封好口，并确认封口

5.语言成绩
1）随着中国学生申请英国大学数量的增多，英方越来越看重申请人在提交申请时的语言成绩，所以，尽量建议申请人提前考一个雅思或托福成绩。
合格或接近入学要求的雅思成绩会加快申请的时间和成功的把握。
2）如果语言成绩不合格，原则上如果低于入学要求1分（如要求7分，只考了6分），则应该提供，如果低于入学要求太多，（如要求7分，只考了5.5分）则最好不要提供，而是在申请表中把何时要考的信息填写清楚,并在成绩出来后及时给申请院校寄去。
6.学历证明及成绩单
1）最好提供由申请人所在大学出具的中英文学历证明及成绩单，并由教务处密封及加盖封口章，每个大学一份。
2）如果学校没有英文翻译，则可以由其本人或代理公司翻译后让学校教务处加盖公章。
但注意翻译件的表格格式要与原件一致。
3）如果申请人为大四在读生，并未获得学历，则需由校方（教务处或院系办公室）提供“在读证明”，内容中要提到“若该生按规定修完所有本科课程，将于××年×月发放毕业证及学位证”。
7.其他与申请有关的证书，出版物及作品集等
1）任何与申请有关的获奖证书（如奖学金，优秀毕业生等）、专业资格证书（如会计证，微软认证，工程师认证等）均可提供，其他表现申请人特长的也可以有选择性提供，但不建议多（如：游泳比赛或卡拉OK优胜者等证书就不要提供了）。
2）申请特别专业时需要提供作品集（如新闻类，建筑类，美术或设计类），请申请时务必提供，但原则上以方便邮寄为准。
邮寄的材料请不要超过500克。
8.高中生或本科在读生申请UCAS需要填写信息的学校及专业代号等，请申请前确
认后再填写申请表。
9.初中生申请寄宿学校也有较复杂的申请过程，请就个案客居提详细咨询。
10.以上所有材料必须是中英文对照（用订书器将中英文件装订），统一用A－4纸清
晰打印（或复印）,完整的材料和美观的文件会更快的得到大学的受理。
