I am in charge of the data management department and my work can be simply divided into two parts, the technical part and nontechnical part.For the technical work, I will establish an electronic commerce website and database. This website will be the core of internet marketing strategy in our company. Through this website, we can showcase our products to customers and store the online-transaction records to the database, such as product name and trade time. With this information, we can get to know the sales conditions about every product of our company and judge the customers' purchasing trend, which must be helpful in our new products development process. This website is also our service platform, and we must promise it can stably provide 24-hours service for the world-wide customers and the customers can also contact us and enjoy our service anytime and anywhere through the internet. Besides, data security is another important part and I must make sure the user information is safe. If customers have no confidence in their trading record security, they would not dare to go shopping online, no matter how wonderful our product is. So some related network and database security technologies, such as information encryption, digital signature and firewall, will be applied to create a safe electronic commerce environment.For the nontechnical part, the data management department will work as the data analyst and coordinator in our company. For example, through collecting the sale information about a product, we can compare with the counterparts, provide the data reference and make a reasonable suggestion of price strategy for the sale department. With the income and expenditure data, we can coordinate the work with finance department, sale and marketing department and some other department, saving more and spending less. Besides, we can help to draw the trend chart of our company development according to the sales records and financial statements, judge the market trend and provide reference for the manager toformulate annul production and sale plan.In addition to handling our company's internal issues, we also have the responsibility to serve our customers. We believe "The customer is god", and we will spear no effort to improve our service quality constantly. Firstly, our department will help to establish the membership data files, by which we can control various information of customers, not only the basic information such as address and phone number, but also some other related information, including their family members, their colleagues and so on. Through the in-depth analysis and long-term tracking of the customer information, we can grasp the customers’ requirements, improve customer satisfaction and enhance the competitiveness of our company. In the second place, our department will help to establish a systematic online service mechanism. We will collect the customers’ evaluation information of our customer service staff, which is one of the most elements in the assessment of work performance of a customer service people. Meanwhile, we will set up the frequently asked questions (FAQ) web. In the electronic commerce, FAQ is the one of the most common online service methods, and a good FAQ web can at least answer 80 percent of customers’ questions, not only saving the service cost, but also improving customer satisfaction. However, it is not easy to build a good FAQ web. We must keep a long-term record of the customers’ frequently aske d questions, and frequently update the information on the FAQ web, promising to solve the customers’ hotspot questions. And to facilitate customers to inquire the related questions, the questions’ order will be arranged according to the click rate statisti cs. In a word, all of our work is consumer-oriented.Certainty, we have a lot of other responsibilities and obligations, and we will work together to serve customers, broaden market and realize quick and stable development of our company.。
