Why don’t you + 动词原形?= Why not + 动词原形?是提建议的一种表达法。
英语中提出建议的表达方式主要有:
(1) Why don’t you... / Why not…? 为什么不……?
(2) Sb should / shouldn’t…某人应该做/不应该做……
(3) How about/What about + doing?……怎么样?
(4)It’s a good idea to do sth.做某事是个好主意。

write down 意为“写下、记下”,是“动词+ 副词”构成的短语。
我们学过的这类动副型短语还有:put on 穿上take off 脱下turn on 打开pick up 捡起
注意:这类动副型短语后面的宾语是名词时,名词可放在副词之前,也可放在副词之后;当宾语是代词时,代词只能放在副词之前。
