语法:when,while,as引导时间状语从句的区别when,while,as都可以引导时间状语从句,但用法区别非常大。

一、when可以和延续性动词连用,也可以和短暂性动词连用;而while和as只能和延续性动词连用。

宾语从句可以分为三类:动词的宾语从句、介词的宾语从句、形容词的宾语从句。

1. 宾语从句的引导词that主句的谓语是由“be + 形容词(afraid / glad / sure / sorry)”等构成的系表结构时,后面常接that 引导的宾语从句。

that没有任何意义,只具有语法功能,目的是使读者清楚后面的句子是做前面动词的宾语,多数情况下that可以省略。

但并非所有的动词后面都能接that引导的宾语从句。

常接that 引导的宾语从句的谓语动词是:believe,expect,promise,think,tell,hope,wish,remember,forget等。

I hope (that) everyone will have a happy family.2. 引导词that下列情况不能省略1)当宾语从句的主语是that时。

He says that that is a useful book. 他说那是一本有用的书。

2)当主从句之间有插入语时。

It says,on the card,that it is made in China. 卡片上说,它产于中国。

3)当宾语从句中含有主从复合句时。

语法:when,while,as引导时间状语从句的区别when,while,as都可以引导时间状语从句,但用法区别非常大。

一、when可以和延续性动词连用,也可以和短暂性动词连用;而while和as只能和延续性动词连用。

① Why do you want a new job when you’ve got such a good one already?(get为短暂性动词)你已经找到如此好的工作,为何还想再找新的?②Sorry,I was out when you called me.(call为短暂性动词)对不起,你打电话时我刚好外出了。

③Strike while the iron is hot.(is为延续性动词,表示一种持续的状态)趁热打铁。

④ The students took notes as they listened.(listen为延续性动词)学生们边听课边做笔记。

二when从句的谓语动词可以在主句谓语动作之前、之后或同时发生;while和as从句的谓语动作必须是和主句谓语动作同时发生。

1.从句动作在主句动作前发生,只用 when。
