马克·吐温(Mark Twain,1835年11月30日-1910年4月21日),原名萨缪尔·兰亨·克莱门(Samuel Langhorne Clemens),是美国著名作家、幽默大师,也是著名演说家,19世纪后期美国现实主义文学的杰出代表。
马克·吐温于1835年11月30日出生在美国密苏里州的佛罗里达乡村里贫穷律师家庭中,于1910年4月21日去世,享年75岁,葬于纽约州艾玛拉。
威廉·福克纳称赞马克·吐温为“第一位真正的美国作家,我们都是继承他而来”。
