定语从句一般放在先行词的后面,引导定语从句的词叫关系词(关系代词和关系副词),关系词在从句中充当句子成分。

2. The girl (who/whom/that) I talked with just now is my cousin. 那个刚才和我一起谈话的女生是我的表妹(表姐)。
3. That is the book which/that has beautiful pictures. 那是一本有美丽图片的书。

【结论】通过以上4个例句,我们可以看出:1. who 指人,在从句中作主语或宾语。
2. whom 指人,在从句中作宾语。
3. which 指物,在从句中作主语或宾语。
4. that 既可以指人,页可以指物,在从句中作主语或宾语,指认时相当于who或whom,指物时相当于which。
5. 介词后面只能用which 或whom, 不能用that 或who。
注意:在由that,which,who引导的定语从句中,当它们在从句中作主语时,都不可以省略;在定语从句中作宾语是可以省略。
