学生会要举办英语演讲比赛的通知英语作文全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1An Exciting English Speech Contest is Coming!Hey there, friends! I've got some super cool news to share with you all. Our student council is organizing an awesome English speech contest, and I'm so psyched about it! Let me give you all the juicy details.First off, why are we having this contest? Well, you know how important it is to practice our English speaking skills, right? This is a fantastic opportunity for us to show off our English talents and maybe even discover some hidden public speaking superpowers within ourselves! The contest is open to all elementary school students, from grades 1 to 6. Whether you're a total English whiz or just starting to learn, you're invited to participate. Don't be shy – this is your chance to shine! Now, let me tell you about the cool prizes up for grabs. The first-place winner will receive a brand-new tablet! How awesome is that? You could use it for studying, playing games, or evenmaking your own videos. The second and third-place winners won't go home empty-handed either. They'll get some pretty neat prizes too, like books and gift cards. But wait, there's more! Every participant will receive a special certificate and a small gift, just for having the courage to step up and give their speech a go. That's right, even if you don't win one of the top prizes, you'll still be celebrated for your effort and bravery.Okay, so how does this whole thing work? Well, you'll need to prepare a short speech on a topic of your choice. It can be about anything you're passionate about – your favorite book, a memorable vacation, or even your dreams for the future. The only rule is that your speech has to be delivered entirely in English.Don't worry if you're feeling a little nervous about public speaking. The student council is organizing some workshops to help you prepare. You'll get tips on how to structure your speech, project your voice, and even manage those pesky butterflies in your tummy.Oh, and here's the really cool part – the judges for the contest will be some of our favorite English teachers! They'll be looking for confidence, clarity, and overall presentation skills. Butmost importantly, they want to see your passion and personality shine through. Now, I know what you're thinking: "When is this happening, and how do I sign up?" Well, mark your calendars, because the contest is scheduled for next month, on Saturday, June 3rd. It's going to take place in our school auditorium, so you'll have a real stage to perform on – just like a professional! To sign up, you'll need to fill out a registration form, which you can get from your homeroom teacher or the student council office. The deadline for registration is Friday, May 19th, so don't delay! Spots are limited, and we don't want you to miss out on this incredible opportunity.I can't wait to see all of your amazing speeches and cheer you on from the audience. Remember, even if you don't win a prize, just participating in this contest is a huge achievement. You'll be practicing your English skills, building confidence, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. So, what are you waiting for? Start brainstorming your speech topics, practice your delivery, and get ready to show the world your English awesomeness!Good luck, my friends! Let's make this English speech contest one for the books!篇2An Exciting English Speech Contest is Coming!Hey everyone! This is your super excited student council president Jackson here with some amazing news. Get ready because we're going to have an awesome English speech contest at our school very soon!I'm sure you're all wondering what this speech contest is all about. Well, let me tell you - it's going to be the coolest event our school has seen in a really long time! The student council has been working hard to put together this special competition to give all of you a chance to show off your English speaking skills.I know some of you might be thinking, "An English speech contest? That sounds kind of boring..." But trust me, it's going to be anything but boring! We have so many fun activities and prizes planned that you won't want to miss out.First off, the contest is open to all students from 3rd to 6th grade. You can sign up either individually or in teams of 2-3 people. For the team entries, you'll work together to write and deliver a short skit or play entirely in English. How cool is that?If you prefer to go solo, no problem at all! You can prepare a speech on any topic you're interested in - your favorite book, a personal hero, an awesome vacation you went on, you name it! The only requirement is that your speech needs to be 3-5 minutes long and delivered smoothly in English from start to finish. Now here's where it gets really exciting. The student council has been hard at work gathering all sorts of awesome prizes for the winners. The first place winner (or winning team) will receive a 50 gift card to the bookstore! How amazing is that - you can get all the latest books, games, and cool stuff you want.Second and third place winners won't be left out either. We'll be giving away some super sweet prizes like movie tickets, restaurant gift cards, board games, sporting goods, and more. Just thinking about all the great prizes is getting me pumped up!But that's not even the best part. Are you ready for this? The student council has also arranged for the first place winner to be the VIP guest of honor at our end-of-year school talent show! You'll get front row seats and your name will be announced on the big stage. How's that for feeling like a celebrity?I can already picture the big crowd cheering as you walk up and get your award. Maybe you'll even dress up in your fanciestoutfit and sunglasses like a real movie star! Just don't forget about us little people when you become massively famous, okay?Okay, okay, I'm getting a little carried away here. But you have to admit, this speech contest is shaping up to be pretty epic, right? I can't wait to see all of you showing off your English skills and creativity. Who knows, maybe we'll discover the next great poet, motivational speaker, or comedian in our midst! The contest will take place in about six weeks, so you'll have plenty of time to prepare. Our English teachers have even agreed to stay after school a few days a week to help anyone who needs assistance writing or practicing their speech. You definitely don't want to miss out on that awesome opportunity.Signups will be opening next week, so keep your eyes peeled for the registration forms. My fellow student council members and I will be coming around to the classrooms to hand them out and answer any questions you might have. We can't wait to see who's going to join in on the fun!In the meantime, start thinking about what you'd like to speak or perform about. And don't forget to keep practicing your English every day. Read books out loud, watch movies andshows in English, or even just narrate what you're doing to yourself. Every little bit of practice helps!Well, that's all the details I have for now. I'm so excited for this contest, and I hope you are too! Get ready to wow the judges with your amazing English skills. Oh, and remember - always stay cool, confident, and have fun with it!Let's make this the most epic English speech contest our school has ever seen. See you there!Your bilingual friend,Jackson篇3An Exciting English Speech Contest is Coming!Hi everyone! This is Alex from the 5th grade student council.I have some super exciting news to share with all of you!Our student council has been working really hard to plan a special event for the whole school. After lots of discussions and planning meetings, we've decided to organize...drumroll please...an English Speech Contest!I can hear some of you groaning already. "A speech contest? In English? No way!" But trust me, this is going to be so much fun. Just hear me out!First off, why are we doing an English speech contest? Well, as you all know, being able to speak English is a really important skill these days. It's the global language that connects people all around the world. By working on our English speaking abilities now, we'll have a huge advantage later in life for things like jobs, travel, making new friends from other countries, and so much more. But more importantly, this speech contest will allow all of us to build our confidence and public speaking skills in a supportive environment. I know speaking in front of a crowd can be scary at first. My hands get all sweaty and my heart races like I just ran a marathon! But with practice and encouragement from our friends and teachers, we can all become much more comfortable and capable speakers.Just imagine how proud you'll feel after giving an awesome speech in English in front of the whole school. That's a memory you'll never forget! And who knows, you might even discover you're a natural-born public speaker. Maybe this contest will set you on a path to become a famous motivational speaker, actor, politician or teacher when you grow up. The possibilities are endless when you believe in yourself. Now let me tell you a bit more about how this exciting contest is going to work:The contest will be open to all grades from 1st through 6th. There will be separate categories and judging for lower grades (1st-3rd) and upper grades (4th-6th) to make sure it's fair for everyone. You'll get to choose the topic for your speech, as long as it's appropriate for school. You can pick something you're really passionate about, like your favorite sport, video game, book series, type of music, or anything else that interests you. Or you can choose an important issue you care about, like protecting the environment, stopping bullying, or celebrating different cultures. The best speeches come from the heart!Once you've picked your topic, you'll need to write out your speech ahead of time. Don't worry, your teachers will provide guidance and let you work on your speeches during class. They'll make sure you stay within the 3-5 minute time limit too. No one wants to listen to someone ramble on forever! You'll have a few weeks to practice delivering your speech out loud. Be sure to practice introducing yourself, speaking slowly and clearly, making eye contact with the audience, using hand gestures for emphasis, and ending with a big smile. Your family and friends can help you do practice run-throughs at home too. When it's finally contest time, you'll get to perform your speech on the big stage in the auditorium! Can't you just picture yourself up there already? The whole school will be in the audience, cheering you on. Doesn't that sound exciting? There will be a panel of judges made up of teachers and some special guest judges (maybe a local TV news anchor or the mayor!). They'll score each speech based on criteria like content, organization, delivery, grammar, vocabulary and overall effectiveness. Then they'll choose winners from each grade level to receive awesome prizes! What kinds of prizes, you ask? Well, that's still a secret for now. But you can be sure the student council is cooking up some incredible prizes that will make all your friends jealous. We're talking things like tablets, gaming consoles, cases of your favorite snacks, bicycles, toys, books and more! But even if you don't win one of the big prizes, you'll still get a cool certificate just for participating. And hey, getting up on stage and giving an English speech in front of hundreds of people is already a huge prize in courage! We should all feel proud. So there you have it - all the details on our super exciting, first-ever English Speech Contest! I hope I've convinced you to give it a shot. Don't let those nerves hold you back. Just picture how amazing you'll feel after conquering that stage like a public speaking hero.Over the next few weeks, teachers will be providing more information and signing students up. Start thinking about your speech topic right away! You'll need to put in some hard work practicing and preparing, but it will be so worth it. Trust me, this is going to be an unforgettable experience.Speak confidently, speak proudly, speak English! Let's make this speech contest one for the history books. I can't wait to hear what amazing speeches you all come up with. See you on that stage soon!Your student council president,Alex。

I have some really exciting news to share with all of you about an super cool event happening at our school soon.In a few weeks, our school is hosting its first ever English Speech Contest! I'm so pumped about this and I hope you are too. This is going to be an amazing opportunity for us students to practice our English speaking skills in a fun way. What is the English Speech Contest? The English Speech Contest is a school-wide competition where students from every grade level (kindergarten through 5th) can prepare and present an original speech entirely in English. The speeches can be on any topic or theme that interests you - your favorite book, a cherished memory, something you're passionate about, etc. The only rules are:The speech must be 2-5 minutes longYou must write and present it all in EnglishNo reading word-for-word from notes (you can glance at an outline though)The speech should have a clear introduction, body, and conclusionThere will be separate contests for each grade level, with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners selected. The 1st place winners from each grade will then compete in a final round to determine the overall school champion! Why Should You Enter?I know some of you might be feeling a little nervous about public speaking, especially if English isn't your first language. But this contest is all about challenging ourselves and stepping outside our comfort zones in a supportive environment. Here are some great reasons to enter:Improve your English fluency and confidence! The more practice you get speaking English in front of others, the better you'll become over time.Develop important life skills. Giving presentations and talking in front of groups are skills that will benefit you hugely in the future for school, jobs, and more. It's fun! Writing and delivering your own speech on a topic you care about can be such an enjoyable creative experience.Prizes! Winners for each grade level and the overall school champion will receive amazing prizes likebooks, art supplies, gift cards, and more!Make your family proud. I know my parents and relatives will be so impressed if I participate and do my best. How to PrepareWondering how to get started? Here are some tips for preparing an awesome speech:Choose a topic you genuinely care about and know a lot about. It could be anything from your favorite sport or hobby to an important issue in the world you want to discuss.Create an outline to organize your main ideas into an introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. The body should have 2-4 main points with supporting details for each.Write out your speech word-for-word, then practice delivering it out loud over and over until you have it mostly memorized.Work on strong skills like varying your tone, making eye contact with the audience, using hand gestures naturally, and speaking slowly and clearly.Time yourself repeatedly to make sure it fits within the 2-5 minute window. Shorten or lengthen as needed.Do mock practice runs in front of family members or friends and ask for feedback on what to improve.Doesn't this all sound so exciting?! I truly hope each and every one of you considers signing up for this English Speech Contest. It's going to be an amazing experience to challenge ourselves, learn public speaking skills, and have fun in the process. If you're interested, registration forms will be available from your English teacher starting next week. My name is Emily, and I'm a fifth-grader at Sunshine Elementary School. Today, I have some really exciting news to share with all of you! Our school is organizing an English Speech Contest, and it's going to be an amazing event! You might be wondering, "What's so special about an English speech contest?" Well, let me tell you all about it!First of all, this contest is open to students from grades three to six, which means that lots of us will have the opportunity to participate. Isn't that awesome? We'll get to showcase ourEnglish speaking skills and prove how much we've learned in our English classes. But wait, there's more! The contest has different categories, so everyone can find a topic that interests them. For example, there's a category for storytelling, where you can narrate your favorite fairy tale or make up your own imaginative story. There's also a category for persuasive speeches, where you can try to convince the audience about something you feel strongly about, like why we should recycle more or why recess time should be extended! If you're more of a factual person, there's a category for informative speeches too. You could share interesting facts about animals, planets, or any other topic that fascinates you. And for those of you who love to crack jokes, there's even a category for humorous speeches! Just imagine standing on stage and making everyone laugh with your witty words. Now, I know what some of you might be thinking: "Public speaking? That's so scary!" Trust me, I understand. The thought of standing in front of a crowd and delivering a speech can be nerve-wracking. But that's where the fun part comes in – we'll all get to practice and prepare together! Our English teachers have planned special workshops to help us write and rehearse our speeches. They'll give us tips on how to structure our speeches, how to project our voices, and even how to use gestures and body language effectively. And the best part? We'll get to practice in front of our classmates, so we can feel more comfortable and confident before the big day.Speaking of the big day, the contest is going to be held in our school auditorium, and our parents and families are all invited to watch! Just imagine how proud they'll feel when they see us confidently delivering our speeches in English. It's going to be a moment to remember for sure! But that's not all! The contest organizers have also arranged for some amazing prizes for the winners. The first-place winner in each category will receive a shiny trophy and a gift card to the bookstore. How cool is that? You get to show off your speaking skills and get rewarded with new books to read! And if that's not enough motivation, the overall winner of the contest will get a special surprise prize. I won't spoil it for you, but let's just say it's something every kid would love! So, what do you think? Are you excited about the English Speech Contest yet? I know I am! Just think about how much funit's going to be to prepare, practice, and then finally get on stage and wow everyone with our English speaking abilities.Plus, it's going to be a fantastic opportunity to bond with our classmates and make new friends who share our love for the English language. Who knows, maybe we'll even discover some hidden talents among us!So, my dear friends, what are you waiting for? Start thinking about the category you want to enter and the topic you want to speak about. Ask your English teachers for help, practice with your family and friends, and get ready to shine on stage!I can't wait to see all of you at the English Speech Contest. Let's make it an event to remember and have loads of fun while we're at it! And who knows, maybe one of us will even become the next great public speaker of our generation!Mark your calendars, practice those speeches, and get ready for an unforgettable experience!篇3Absolutely!
