2. 读懂Story time中的故事并能进行角色表演。
教学准备教师准备：职业卡片和家庭成员及一些交通工具的卡片。
学生准备：1. 本单元所有表示职业的单词卡片。
2. 代表某一职业的道具，如：警察制服或帽子、医生的帽子等。
教学方法角色表演教学法学生根据Story time 中的任意一段内容进行角色表演。
教学过程Step 1：Warm-up1. 教师检查学生作业，发现学生不足并加以指导。
2. 击鼓传花教师敲击小鼓，学生传递职业单词卡片，鼓声停止时，拿到卡片的学生要用卡片上的单词说一句话，如：I want to be a pilot.或I'm going to be a pilot.3. Bingo游戏教师与学生挑出九张单词卡片。
正面朝上排成一个正方形，教师随意说出一张卡片上的单词，学生将听到的单词卡片翻过去。
如此连续说三个单词，如果这三张单词卡片横、竖或斜在一条直线上，就可以喊“Bingo”，然后把这三个单词重复出来可得一分。
Step 2：PresentationStory time全班学生听Story time部分的录音，教师讲解故事内容，学生模仿并跟读。
在讲解故事的同时，教师顺便问学生一些相关的问题，帮助学生更好地理解故事内容。
如：How many jobs are there in this stroy?等。
教师播放录音，学生跟读，并复述内容。
