Your radio operates as usual, except that you use an external microphone, speaker, and antenna. The HANDSFREE powers the radio and charges its battery (standard or slim-line only).USING YOUR HANDSFREE UNIT INSERTING THE RADIOBefore inserting the radio remove the following:• the round rubber plug in the antenna port on the back of the radio.• the system connector plug from the bottom of the radio.3INSERT THE RADIO INTO THE HANDSFREE HOLDER1. Slide the radio straight down parallel tothe back of the holder.2. Push the radio all the way down tomake sure the system connector is properly seated.3. Push the radio back until the side tabsof the handsfree unit lock into place.4OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Service Available IndicatorThe indicator light on the top edge of the radio shows a steady green light when service is available from the service net-work.Answering A CallRefer to your radio user’s guide to se-lect an answering option. Most radios have at least three options:• answer with the SEND key• answer with any key except VOL-UME keys• answer automatically after a num-ber of rings Adjusting The Speaker VolumeWhen the radio is in the cradle and turned on, you can adjust the speaker vol-ume using the volume keys. The radio stores two volume settings independently--one for when the radio is used as a port-able, and one for the speaker volume when the radio is in the HANDSFREE unit. Both settings remain unchanged after the radio is turned off.CHARGING YOUR RADIO BATTERYWhen your radio is on and in standby mode in the HANDSFREE unit, the radio battery is automatically charged. You can charge your radio battery by leaving the phone in the cradle overnight. However, continuously charging the battery in this5way for more than a week can temporarily weaken the vehicle battery.• When your radio is in the HANDSFREE unit, the radio dis-play will indicate charge status. Theindicator alternates between C for“Charging” and the charge level (0through 9). When the battery isfully charged, the display shows an“F” for “Full Charge.”• The HANDSFREE unit recharges a standard battery in less than twohours and a similar battery in lessthan an hour.NOTE: Charging pauses when acall is in progress, but a tricklecharge maintains the batterycharge level.• To use your radio in the HANDSFREE unit if the radio bat-tery is completely discharged (i.e., the radio will not turn on), place the radio in the unit and wait 10 min-utes before placing a call.6REMOVING THE RADIO1. To release the radio from theHANDSFREE unit, squeeze the tabson both sides of the holder until theradio tilts slightly forward.2. Slide the radio straight up out of theholder so that the HANDSFREE sys-tem connector detaches from the baseof the phone.7CARE AND MAINTENANCE• Carefully follow the instructions on Inserting and Removing the radiofrom the HANDSFREE unit.• Do not attempt to service the HANDSFREE unit or componentsyourself. Doing so will void the war-ranty.• Follow all safety precautions and user guidelines8TROUBLESHOOTINGRADIO PROBLEM PROBABLE CAUSE REMEDYThe LED does not light when the vehicle power is supplied. The holder is not receivingpower, or vehicle power polar-ity is reversed.Check the power connec-tions and fuse. This document provides an overview of the installation process and operation of the SDRplay ADS-B(dump1090) application.Dump1090 was originally written by Salvatore Sanfilippo ***************** in 2012 and is released under the BSD three clause license.Malcolm Robb *********************** made a number of improvements in 2014. In this revision of the application, support has been added for the RSP.Oliver Jowett ********************.uk created mutability version including oversampled demod in 2016. Contents1.Installation (2)2.Getting Started (11)3.RSP Command Line Options (13)4.Legal Information (14)1. InstallationDownload the SDRplay ADS-B (dump1090) installer from the Windows section of the website (/downloads)Run the downloaded installation file and you will see this, click Yes to continue.Click Next to continue past the welcome screen. Please read and accept the license agreement. The next screen will display important information about these early releases. Read and then click Next. The next screen shows the installation directory. Check you have enough disk space and then click NextThe next screen confirms where the software will be installed to. If correct, click Install. After the software has installed, there will be some quick tips in the next screen, after you have reviewed these click Next. This completes the installation, clicking Finish will close the installer. This software works well with the Virtual Radar Server software. Virtual Radar Server will collect the data from dump1090 and produce a clickable map that shows all of the aircraft found by dump1090 in real time. You can download it from here: /Download.aspxAfter downloading the software, run it to start the installation.Click Next to continue past the welcome screen.Review and accept the license agreement, then click Next. You can review the change log and then click Next to continue.Review the installation directory and click NextThe next screen allows you to change the port number that the server listens on to receive web requests. Review this information and then click Next once you have decided on the correct setting. After reviewing the summary of what will be installed, click Install to begin. After the software has installed, click Finish to close the installer.2. Getting StartedThe easiest way to get started is to click on Start dump1090 from the Stat Menu (underSDRplay/dump1090). This will start dump1090 with settings to output the received plane information to the network ports.A receiver should be setup in Virtual Server with the following information:Format: BeastIP: 127.0.0.1 (if dump1090 and virtual server running on the same machine) or set to the IP address of the machine running dump1090Port: 30005 (this is the default output port for beast data)Please note: there are more Start options from the menu, these are 2MHz mode (interactive or quiet) and 8MHz mode (interactive or quiet). Interactive will show the plane information as received but will require more CPU than the quiet mode that just outputs the data to the network port.Whilst this is running, start Virtual Radar Server from the Start Menu. It should automatically connect to the dump1090 application and start to process incoming data. You can now click on the link in blue inside the Virtual Radar window (shown in blue) and it will open up a browser window showing the aircraft being detected on a map.You can change some of the command line options to try to improve the performance to capture more aircraft data. After saving, campaigns will be automatically sent out to all of your customers on annual basis and to some of your customers based on their actions or lack of actions that you specify as campaign triggers. The ‘Email Campaign’ grid is displayed in three blocks: ‘Customer Lifecycle’, ‘Shopping Cart’ and ‘Annual Campaign’.The email campaign dashboard is your main guide in creating and tracking successful email campaigns. It contains detailed tracking data on how your campaign performs: number of bounced emails, clicks, number of products added to a cart, number of purchases and total purchase amount resulted from a particular campaign. The left column shows three (3) campaign statuses: ‘Running’ – green arrow, ‘Stopped’ – red stop sign and ‘Ended’ – grey arrow.‘Customer Lifecycle’ campaigns are triggered when your customer: (1) registered, (2) subscribed for a newsletter, (3) has a birthday, (4) after X hours / days since your customer last login, (5) after your customer’s first purchase, (6) after your customer’s last purchase, (7) after your customer’s last time viewed product(s) on your website. You can define all or some of those 7 triggers while creating a campaign. You can specify after how many hours, days or even months your campaign shall be triggered after your customer made an eligibility action on your website or after your customer has been inactive on your website.‘Shopping cart” campaigns are triggered when your customer left a cart. You can decide to trigger a campaign only if some particular products are left at a cart, perhaps, because you are trying to sell them faster. Or you can trigger a campaign every time when any of the products are left. This campaign is truly tailored to your customer’s preferences, as it will show them the products they left with a special offer from you.‘Annual campaigns” are triggered at fixed dates of your choice every year. You are only limited with your imagination in specifying those annual events. Is it a Valentine’s day? A special offer day?PORTAL: Create Email TemplatesYour Email Template Creator provides beautiful designs with no coding required. This makes it particularly easy to manage content and layouts for all customers’ lifecycle events. You can access your template creator by clicking on your profile at the right top corner of the merchant portal or by editing your email campaign.
