袁隆平：我现在每月工资6000多 问：您的身价值1008亿，那你是如何看待财富和名利的?您现在穿的衣服 是名牌吗? 袁隆平：不错，我身价值1008亿，可我真的有那么多钱吗?没有。我现在 就是靠每个月6000多元的工资生活，已经很满足了。对金钱我不会挥霍 浪费，但该花的还是要花。至于我获奖得的奖金都放到基金会里边了。 我今天穿的衣服就50块钱，但我喜欢的还是昨天穿的那件15块的衬衫， 穿着很精神呢。我的表260元，鞋子100多块。要说一点名利思想都没有 是不可能的，但要淡薄名利，对物质别要求太高。 问：是什么让你一直有动力进行科学研究，对年轻人您有什么话要对他 们说吗? 袁隆平：动力吗?说实话我真的不清楚，可能这和我不满足的个性有关吧， 我觉得水稻还有很多东西值得研究，我自己也精力充沛，就是想研究下 去。还有我认为如果怕失败就不要搞科研，另外选对自己的研究方向也 是非常重要的，因为错误的理论违背了客观规律，再努力也是不会出成 果的。年轻人要明白自己应该为社会做点有用的事情，这是一种精神动 力，同时还要注重实践，比如说虽然现在书本、电脑上的知识足够丰富， 但里面不会产水稻，我还是要下田去搞研究。
