Introduction to the author
William Shakespeare (William Shakespeare, 1564-1616) was a dramatist and poet of the English Renaissance period, a master of the Humanism Renaissance, and one of the founders of modern European literature. He wrote 37 plays, 154 sonnets, two long poems and other poems. The four great tragedies are Hamlet, Othello, King Lear, Macbeth. The four comedies: Twelfth Night, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the merchant of Venice, and as you like it. Historical plays: Henry IV of France, Henry VI of England, Richard II of England, etc.

In the duel, Hamlett’s mother, Gertrude, was poisoned to death by drinking the poisoned wine Claudius had prepared for Hamlett, and Hamlett and Laertes were both poisoned by the sword, hamlett, who learns of the poisoning, kills Claudius before he dies and asks his friend Horatio to tell his story to others.
