第一节(满分15分)
Possible version:
Memories brought me back to the days when we were taken to the local park to sketch last Friday. You cannot imagine how meaningful and interesting it was!
We were tasked to draw or paint something that impressed us most. Inspired by the fantastic scenery, I determined to create a watercolor painting of the small bridge ove r the park’s pond, which was brimming with a wide range of blooming flowers.
The entire experience was incredibly refreshing. Being surrounded by nature not only sparked my creativity, but also offered a much-needed break from the usual hustle and bustle of school life. I felt a deep sense of peace as I painted In a word, it was not just an art class; It was a moment of connection with nature that I truly cherished.
第二节(满分25分)
Possible version 1
My mother called me to dinner table, but I ignored her. When she came to the bathroom door and demanded that I come out and have a meal, I burst out of the door, tears streaming down my cheeks. Before she stopped me, I stormed into my room and slammed the door shut behind me. Looking into the mirror, I saw a girl with more and
darker freckles on the face. Only then did I realize that the cream had a reverse effect when wearing it in the sun. I threw myself down on the bed and sobbed.
After what seemed a century, I heard a gentle knock on my bedroom’s door. Hesitating for a moment, with puffy(肿胀的) eyes and still wet cheeks, I opened the door. At the door stood my mother and Janette with a big bunch of tiger lilies, which were covered with black spots but amazingly beautiful. I stared at them in stunned surprise, not knowing what to say. My mother held me in her warm embrace. “There are all kinds of flowers, and they are all unique in beauty and fragrance,” said she. Hearing this and smelling the enchanting odor(迷人的气味)of the tiger lilies, the freckles on my face seemed to have magically faded.
Version 2
My mother called me to dinner table , but I ignored her. Not receiving any response from me, she quickened her pace anxiously to the bathroom, checking on me. Seeing me in a whole skin, she breathed in relief and asked me what was going on. Her words seemed like a hammer blow, tossing me into deeper sorrow. Tears streaming down, I uttered in injured tones that I applied the freckle-remover cream on my face and freckles appeared on my face more and more. Knowing my situation, she comforted me, “It is normal that teen girls have more freckles on their faces than usual, So do I at your time, honey!” Down in spirit, I turned a deaf ear to what my mom said, dashing towards my bedroom and throwing myself into the bed.
After what seemed a century, I heard a gentle knock on my bedroom’s door. Hesitating for a moment, with tearful eyes and still wet cheeks, I shuffled across the room to open the door. At the door stood beautiful Elisabeth and mom with a bunch of tiger lilies in her hand. My lips parted with nothing uttered. Mom locked me into her embrace, gently saying “every flower is a unique soul blossoming in nature and so are you.” “And how could you hoe the field so amazingly better than any of us”, Elisabeth jokingly added. Cracking a radiant smile still with watery eyes, I realized for the first time that there existed some starry points in me, just like those tiger lilies, those dotted with ugly “freckles” would still smell fragrant.

Text 10
Hi, boys and girls. Welcome to this feature exhibition of our science museum. As you know, the brain is one of the most astonishing parts of the human body. But here's so much the average person doesn't know about it.
Firstly, the brain itself can't feel pain. When a person has a headache, it's often thought of as pain coming from the brain, but this is actually not the case. The muscles and skin surrounding the brain can feel pain. Secondly, the brain is greedy. It might account for only about 3 percent of your body weight, but it receives about 30 percent of the blood being pumped by your heart. And this is even more true for young children. In order for a kid's brain to stay running, it requires significant amounts of energy. Almost half of a child's energy goes to fuel their brain. Finally, the brain's ability to change itself throughout a person's lifetime is a truly remarkable thing. For example, the part of a blind's brain can rewire itself to process sound information instead of visual information, which is normally wired to work with eyes. That means those who are born blind can “see” through ears. Pretty cool, right?。
