What I Plan to Do Tomorrow
Tomorrow is Sunday and I'm so excited because I don't have school! I love weekends because I can sleep in late and do whatever fun activities I want. I've been looking forward to this Sunday all week. Here's what I plan to do tomorrow:
First thing in the morning, I'm going to sleep until at least 10am. During the school week, my mom makes me get up at
7am which is way too early in my opinion. But on Sundays, I can catch up on my sleep. I'll probably lay in bed playing games on my tablet for a little while before finally getting up.
Once I'm up, I'll get dressed and head to the kitchen for a big breakfast. My dad is an amazing cook and loves making fancy breakfast meals on the weekends. I'm hoping he makes his signature chocolate chip pancakes tomorrow. They are divine! I'll eat a huge stack with lots of syrup.
After breakfast, I'm planning to hang out with my friends. We're going to meet up at the park near my house around noon.
Parks are my favorite place to spend time with my crew. We can run around, play sports, climb on the playgrounds, and just have a total blast.
My friend Jessica is bringing her new puppy tomorrow, so we're all excited to get to play with the cute furball. I love puppies - they're so hyper and cuddly! We'll probably take turns holding and petting the puppy. I just hope it doesn't pee on anyone like the last puppy we played with did to Tommy. That was so gross!
Once we get tired of the park, we're going to head over to Eric's house. His parents just put in a brand new pool and waterslide in their backyard. We're all bringing our swimsuits so we can take turns going down the slide and splashing around. Eric's house has the biggest backyard of anyone I know, so there's plenty of space to run around too. I can already picture us having epic water balloon fights and getting completely soaked!
After a few hours of that, we'll probably be starving. So the plan is to order a bunch of pizzas for delivery. Eric's mom said we can eat them by the pool. I'm going to get a pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and extra cheese. That's my absolute favorite type of pizza. I'll probably eat at least 4 or 5 slices because I'll be so hungry from all the running around.
Once we're stuffed with pizza, we'll settle in to watch a movie together. We're all excited to see the new superhero film that just came out. I'll let Eric pick the movie since it's his house. As long as it's not a chick flick, I'll be happy!
We'll probably start the movie around 6 or 7pm. Hopefully my parents let me stay out until at least 9pm since it's the weekend. I always beg them to let me stay out late with my friends but they harp on me about getting enough sleep. We're not babies anymore!
At some point my mom will probably text me saying it's time to come home. She'll say something silly like "Don't want to turn into a pumpkin!" Which basically means the fun is over and I have to go to bed at a lame hour. But you know what, even if I have to head home at 9pm, I'll still have had an awesome day.
When I get home, I'll get ready for bed but maybe squeeze in some video games or YouTube videos first if I can stay up a little later. My parents are so strict about bedtimes which is really annoying. Don't they know us kids can handle a lot more than they think?
Anyway, once I finally have to go to sleep, I'll just lay there thinking about what an amazing Sunday I had. Playing with
friends really is the best! I'll drift off to sleep with the biggest smile on my face.
Then it's just the long wait until next weekend when I can do it all over again. The weekends go by way too fast if you ask me. Weekdays are the worst with all their rules, restrictions, and crazy amounts of homework. But the weekends are my happy place where I can let loose and make my own schedule. I wish there were more weekends and way fewer weekdays!
Well, that's my plan for my ideal Sunday. Of course, my parents will probably try to ruin it by nagging me to do chores or running errands with them. And the weather could be gross and rain on our pool party. Stuff like that always seems to get in the way of my fun. But a kid can dream, right? I'm going to spend all week looking forward to tomorrow and my perfect day. Hopefully it all goes according to plan! Keep your fingers crossed for me.

What I Plan to Do Tomorrow
Tomorrow is Saturday, and I'm really excited because I don't have any school! I have a bunch of fun things planned that I'm looking forward to.
First thing in the morning, I'm going to sleep in. During the school week, I have to get up at 6:30am which is super early. My mom is usually banging on my door to wake me up, and I never feel fully rested. But tomorrow, I can sleep as late as I want without anybody bothering me. I'm hoping to sleep until at least 9 or 10am. Sleeping in on the weekends is the best!
After I finally roll out of bed, I'll go downstairs and have a big breakfast. We don't have time for a nice breakfast on school days - it's just a granola bar or some cereal as I'm running out the door. But tomorrow I can take my time and make something delicious like pancakes, waffles, or an omelet. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!
Once I've eaten a huge breakfast, I'll get dressed and hang out for a little while. I'll probably play some video games or watch some YouTube videos. I like to start my weekend mornings with a little relaxing free time. During the week, it's rush rush rush to get ready for school on time. It will be nice to just chill with no time pressures.
In the afternoon, I'm planning to go to the park with a couple of my friends. We're going to ride our bikes on the trails, play on the swings and seesaws, and maybe have a picnic lunch that our moms pack for us. The weather is supposed to be
beautiful - sunny and around 75 degrees. Playing outside in the nice weather will be a blast after being trapped inside all week at school.
After the park, my friends and I will come back to my house and do some baking. We're going to make chocolate chip cookies from scratch - my favorite! My mom will help us a little but we'll do most of it ourselves. I can't wait to eat some of the warm, gooey cookies fresh out of the oven. Mmm!
Once my friends have gone home for dinner, my family and I will order a pizza and watch a movie together. We'll get half pepperoni and half veggies so there's something for everyone. My little brother and I will build a fort in the living room with blankets and pillows, and we'll eat the pizza inside the fort. So cozy! Watching movies and cuddling on the couch is one of my favorite weekend activities.
Finally, just before bed, I'll take a nice long shower or bath. Showers during the school week have to be super quick, but on Saturdays I can take as long as I want. I'll use a bath bomb that turns the water bright colors and makes it smell amazing. Relaxing in a hot bath is the perfect way to end a fun day.
By the time I finally climb into bed, I'll be totally tuckered out from an activity-packed day. I'll fall asleep as soon as my head
hits the pillow, resting up for another busy (but fun!) day on Sunday. Weekends are just the best, and I can't wait to soak up every minute of this one!
That's my plan for how I'll spend my Saturday tomorrow. A little sleeping in, a delicious breakfast, outdoor adventures, baking treats, family time, and relaxation. It's going to be an awesome day with the perfect mix of fun, yummy food, and R&R.

What Am I Planning To Do Tomorrow?
Tomorrow is Saturday, and I'm so excited because it's finally the weekend! During the school week, I'm super busy with classes, homework, and activities. But on the weekends, I get to do whatever I want. Tomorrow is going to be awesome. I already have the whole day planned out.
First thing in the morning, I'm going to sleep in. My mom usually makes me get up at 7am for school, but on Saturdays I can sleep as late as I want. I'll probably stay in bed until around 9:30 or 10am. Then I'll go downstairs and have a humongous breakfast. I'm talking pancakes, bacon, eggs, hash browns - the
works! My dad makes the best big breakfasts on weekend mornings.
After breakfast, I'll head outside to play some basketball with my friends. We have a basketball hoop set up in Sam's driveway across the street. Sam, Jake, Emma and I try to get together for a couple hours almost every Saturday to shoot some hoops and run around. We'll probably play our usual game of rallying-up - where we divide into two teams and keep score, playing until someone reaches 21 points. I'm pretty good at basketball, so I'll be trying my best to lead my team to victory!
Once we're tired out from basketball around lunchtime, we'll all head to my house and order a pizza for lunch. My parents are usually okay with me having pizza on Saturdays as long as I eat a salad too. My favorite is pepperoni pizza from Pizza Palace. They have this crazy good ranch dressing that I like to dip my crust in. After we demolish the pizza, we'll probably watch a movie or play some video games for a little while to rest up.
Then in the mid-afternoon, our plan is to go to the mall. The mall is mine and my friends' favorite hangout spot on weekends. We like to window shop, try on silly clothing and accessories, and sometimes we'll even use our allowance money to buy something small. My favorite stores are GameStop, Hot Topic,
and Forever 21. I also love going to the Disney Store and playing around with all the cool toys and games. I'm kind of a big kid at heart!
At some point when we're at the mall, we'll take a break and grab some snacks. I usually get a sweet tea from Chick-fil-A and share some cheese fries with Sam and Emma. Jake likes to get a huge pretzel or some Dippin' Dots. Then after we've refueled, we'll walk around the mall a bit more before one of our parents comes to pick us up.
Once I'm home from the mall in the early evening, I'll take a shower and get into some comfy clothes to just hang around the house. For dinner, we'll probably grill out some burgers and have corn on the cob on the side. Yum! After dinner, my family and I will play a board game together or watch a movie before I have to get ready for bed.
I know I'll be totally tuckered out after such a fun and
jam-packed day. Before going to sleep, I'll text my friends to make plans for the next day. We like to maximize our weekend freedom! Then I'll lie in bed and think about what kind of adventures we'll go on Sunday. Maybe we'll ride our bikes to the park or walk to the swimming pool if it's warm enough. Or maybe we'll have a video game tournament at Jake's house. No
matter what, I know it will be impossible to be bored with my busy weekend social calendar!
Weekends are my favorite because I get a break from the routine of school and activities. For those two days, I get to make my own schedule and do whatever I want. And tomorrow is shaping up to be the perfect start to an epic weekend. I can't wait to wake up and get it started! I'll make sure to pack in as much fun as possible before Monday morning rolls around again. Weekends go by way too fast when you're a kid!。
