Teaching Procedures:
Step 1: Warm-up.
1.Listen to the song “What time is it” and sing along with
the music.

It’s seven o’clock.
Step 2: Preview
T: What time is it now? It’s …It’s time for a fashion show. Listen to me and follow me, please.
Smart sweater/shirt, Smart sweater/shirt.
Come to the front.

Step 3: Presentation
1.Listen to the story and find the new words.
2.Show the key words and sentences to the students.
Wonderful, balloon, pretty, vest.

3.Have the students read the story after the tape and try to
translate it.
4.Have the students read the story and answer the question
below:

5.Have the students read the story by group.
6.Have the students read the story aloud together.
7.Role play, makes the students for 4 groups, and let them play
the story out.
Step 4: Homework:
To copy down the passage with Chinese meaning.
