摘要:PURPOSE:To prevent the destruction of an object and an accident resulting in injury or death of a person by a constitution wherein a sensor delivering a signal proportional to a contact pressure is provided at the end of a rod projected forward from the body of a vehicle, and the rod is moved forward and backward flexibly by an output signal from the sensor so as to maintain the contact pressure against the object at a constant level. CONSTITUTION:A pressure sensor 4 delivering a converted signal proportional to a contact pressure is fitted to the end of a rod 3 provided movably on the body 1 of a vehicle through the intermediary of a supporting member 2. The rod 3 is provided with a rack 3a, and a servo-actuator 5 rotating a pinion 5a gearing into the rack is mounted on the upper part of the supporting member 2. The amount of rotary driving of the servo-actuator 5 is detected by a potentiometer 6. The detection signal of the pressure sensor 4 and the output signal of the potentiometer 6 are compared with each other by a comparator 7, the servo- actuator 5 is driven to rotate according to the output signal of the comparator 7, the rotary motion of the servo-actuator is transformed into a linear motion, and thereby the rod 3 is moved forward and backward in proportion to the contact pressure.
