One of the biggest problems with over-exercising is the risk of injury. When we push ourselves too hard, our bodies can become fatigued and more prone to accidents. For example, if we run too much without proper rest, we may develop shin splints or stress fractures. Similarly, if we lift weights that are too heavy, we may strain our muscles or even tear them.
Another issue with over-exercising is exhaustion. When we work out too much, we may not give our bodies enough time to recover and rebuild. This can lead to a feeling of constant fatigue, which can make it difficult to function
in our daily lives. We may have trouble concentrating at work or school, and we may not have enough energy to enjoy
our hobbies or spend time with friends and family.
Finally, over-exercising can also have negative effects on our mental health. While exercise is often touted as a way to improve our mood, too much of it can actually have the opposite effect. When we exercise excessively, our bodies release high levels of stress hormones like cortisol. This can lead to feelings of anxiety and even depression.
