英语句子的升降调

二、常见句式的语调
（一）陈述句的语调。

陈述句表示陈述一件事时用降调。

例：1、I know.↘ 2.、It’s cold.↘3.、There is a book on the desk.↘
（二）特殊疑问句的语调。

特殊疑问句一般用降调，句首的疑问词一般重读。

例：1、What’s this?↘2、Who is your mother? ↘
3.、Who are they? ↘4、Where are you going? ↘
My name is ↘Bill. 我叫比尔。

He called ↘me. 他给我打电话了。

I can’t help↘you. 我帮不了你。

He is ↘right. 他是对的。

1、What do you want to eat?
2、How much is a hamburger?
3、When would you like to eat?
4、Who can help me?
What time is ↗it? 都几点了？(批评对方迟到了)
How much is ↗it? 多少钱？(嫌对方要价太高)
Why do you ↗come? 你为什么要来呢？(表示不喜欢这里)
What did you ↗say? 您说什么？(没听清楚，请对方再说一遍)
↗What? 什么？(没听清楚，请对方再说一遍)
What’s your↘name? 你叫什么名字？
When is your ↘birthday? 你的生日是什么时候？
Where do you want to ↘go?你想去哪里？
Why did you beat ↘him? 你为什么要打他？
（三）感叹句的语调
1、感叹句表示强烈感叹时用降调。

例：What a beautiful car!↘What a nice↘day!
What a small ↘world! 这个世界好小啊！
That’s absolute↘nonsense! 真是一派胡言！
How beautiful you ↘are! 你真漂亮！
How time ↘files! 时间过得真快！
2、感叹句表示惊奇时用升降调。

例：A: I bought this dress for 500 dollars
B: 500 dollars!

3.Oh, my god!Take this ↘seat. 坐这个位子。

Be ↘careful. 小心点。

Give it to ↘me. 把那个给我。

Give me your ↘hand. 把你的手给我。

（四）一般疑问句和答语的语调
一般疑问句用升调，它的简略回答用降调。

例：1、Is this your book? ↗2、Are you from America? ↗
Yes, ↘it is. ↘Yes, ↘I am.↘
No, ↘it isn’t.↘No, ↘I am not.↘

1、Is it really a dog? ↗
Yes, ↘it is.↘
No, ↘it isn’t.↘
Are you Mike ↗Green? 你是麦克▪格林吗？
Do you ↗understand? 你明白吗？
Will you help ↗ me? 愿意帮我吗？

（七）祈使句的语调
1、表示命令，语气强硬的祈使句，句末用降调。

例：Don’t open the door↘! 不许开门！
练习：
Stand↘up! 站起来！
2、表示鼓励、态度亲切或客气的请求的祈使句，句末用升调：
Stand up, please↗. 请起立。

练习：
Let’s go there↗together. 咱们一起去那里吧。

Don’t do↗that. 不要那么做。

Come with ↗me. 和我来吧。

Come over ↗here. 过来一下。

Wait a ↗moment. 稍等。

Now listen to me carefully. 现在认真听我说。

Give me a call. 给我打电话。

Give my best to your family. 待我向你们全家问好。

3. 表示恳切的请求，或责备或表示关心的急切警告时用降升调，第一个重读音节用降调，句末用升调。

例：Don’t ↘open the door↗. 不要开门。

（会冷的）
Don’t ↘eat so much sugar↗. 不要吃那么多糖。

（糖对身体不好
Do you ↗understand? 你明白吗？
Are you ↗ready ? 你准备好了吗？
Is this your ↗book？这是你的书吗？
Will you help ↗me？你愿意帮我吗？
一般疑问句通常是助动词放在句首，并且必须用“是或不是（yes或no）”来回答，这就是为什么一般疑问句也叫Yes – No Questions。

当说话者在重复某事或询问某人的时候，一般疑问词如果用降调，则表示无礼。

I ask you again: do you know the ↘ man? 我再问你一遍：你认不认识这个人

Is she ↗Sally or ↘Jane? 她是萨莉还是简？
