I recently went on a trip to Xi'an, a city in China with a rich history and cultural heritage. The first thing that struck me about Xi'an was its ancient city walls, which are incredibly well-preserved and offer a glimpse into the city's past.
Walking through the bustling streets of Xi'an, I was amazed by the variety of street food available. From spicy lamb skewers to steaming bowls of noodles, there was something to satisfy every craving. I couldn't resist trying a little bit of everything, and I was not disappointed.
One of the highlights of my trip was visiting the Terracotta Army, a collection of thousands of life-sized clay soldiers buried with the first Emperor of China. In addition to its historical sites, Xi'an also has a vibrant cultural scene. I had the opportunity to attend a traditional music performance, where the haunting melodies of the erhu and the rhythmic beats of the drums transported me to another time and place.
