Good morning, everyone. Today, I'm going to report on our English class duty.
First of all, I want to talk about the activities we did in the English class. We started the class with a warm-up activity, where we reviewed some vocabulary and grammar points from the previous lesson. Then, we moved on to the main part of the lesson, which was a discussion about the importance of learning English. We had a lively debate and everyone participated actively, sharing their own opinions and experiences.
After the discussion, we did a reading comprehension exercise. The passage was about the benefits of bilingualism, and we had to answer some questions based on the text. This helped us to improve our reading skills and also learn some new vocabulary.
Next, we had a speaking activity, where we practiced using the new vocabulary and expressions we learned in the reading passage. We worked in pairs and had to discuss a topic related to the theme of the passage. This activity was very beneficial as it allowed us to apply
what we had learned in a real-life context.
After the speaking activity, we had a grammar review session. We revised the past tense and practiced using it in different contexts. This was important for consolidating our understanding of the grammar point and for improving our accuracy in using it.
Finally, we ended the class with a writing task. We had to write a short paragraph about our own experiences with learning English and the benefits it has brought to us. This task encouraged us to reflect on our own learning journey and also to practice our writing skills.
Overall, I think the English class was very productive and engaging. We had a good balance of different activities that catered to different language skills, such as reading, speaking, listening, and writing. The teacher also created a supportive and inclusive atmosphere that encouraged everyone to participate and contribute to the class.
