On the 20th day of December, Yili Group announced on its brand upgrade press conference, from 2011, Disney would establish strategic partnership with Yili. Under the partnership Yili would become the exclusive dairy franchisee of Walt Disney in China to develop health dairy products for children and promote healthy dietary habits and deep nutrition knowledge together with Disney. November 15, the "First Financial Daily’s CBN Marketing Festival" was held in Shanghai. Yili Group was awarded the Prize of “2010 Successful Corporate Marketing at World Expo” for its excellent marketing performance and good reputation on humanistic services in and out of the World Expo Park.

July 2, 1996, Yili Group held press conference in Shanghai, with slogan: “Yili walks toward Olympics; the world focus on Yili”, declaring that Yili’s products, including: popsicle, ice cream, milk powder and milked tea powder were authorized as designated products for Atlanta Olympics.
