独坐敬亭山，对着千里江山，景物湖山相映，涟漪荡漾天光。

春去秋来生幽思，岁华东流骤西风，胡雁南飞去，满目荒凉无人行。

北斗下天汉，蟾蜍引清泉，谁知道我此时，独坐敬亭山。

Alone on Jingting Mountain sits he, Gazing over a thousand miles he sees; Scenery of lakes and hills reflects on each other, With ripples spreading to the shining sky further. Spring has gone, autumn is coming, he feels melancholy, The years are fleeting like the west wind, he dolefully; Wild geese fly south, leaving the land deserted, No human is seen across the desolation ascertained. Below the north star lies heaven’s band, Frogs’ croaks lead to a murmuring stream running grand; Who knows that I, being so lonely, Sit alone on Jingting Mountain solely.

With the spring now gone, autumn comes to mind, The years seem to rush, leaving him behind. Wild geese fly south, seeking warmer place, Leaving behind desolation, without a single trace. The North Star shines bright, as stars fill the night, Frogs’ croaks an ambient sound, by the stream’s flight. Only he knows the feelings now flown, Alone on Jingting Mountain, a heart of his own.
评析
唐代诗人王之涣的《独坐敬亭山》是一首以景写情的千古绝唱。

从几幅意象的构建中，表达了诗人作为一个文人的孤独悲凉以及岁月流转逝去中的忧伤。

但是本诗情感却不仅仅是孤寂。

第一篇英译版本采用了经典的平仄声调，尽管没有完全遵循原诗的意象，但仅凭精练的几个词一并运用的数个叙事手法，正足以表现出诗人的孤独感。
