Dear XYZ Company,
Thank you so much for letting me and my classmates visit your office last week! It was really exciting to see where you work and learn more about what you do. I had such an amazing time, and I wanted to make sure to say a big thank you.
When we first arrived, I was wowed by how huge and modern your building looked on the outside. The big glass windows and sleek design made it seem like something from the future! I couldn't wait to go inside and explore.
Your lobby was just as impressive, with a high ceiling and plenty of cozy seating areas. I loved the big fish tank with all the bright tropical fish swimming around. It made the space feel relaxing and peaceful. The person at the front desk greeted us with a warm smile and made us all feel very welcome.
Then our tour guide, Sarah, came to meet us. She had a big smile and such a friendly energy! Sarah explained that she would
be showing us around to different areas and introducing us to some of your employees. I was really excited to get started.
First, Sarah took us to see the cafeteria and kitchen area where you prepare all the food for your staff. The kitchen was gigantic, with huge ovens, grills, and prep stations. The chefs were so cool, wearing those tall hats and juggling multiple tasks at once with big smiles on their faces. I loved watching them at work. And the cafeteria had the most amazing salad bar and dessert station! I wish my school lunches were that good.
After the kitchen tour, we headed to someoffices and meeting rooms. Sarah let us peek into a conference room where a team was having a meeting. They had charts and graphs showing on a huge TV screen, and they were deep in discussion about some project. It looked very important!
In one of the offices, we met a computer programmer named Mike. His desk had not one, but three huge computer monitors, and his keyboard could light up in different colors! He showed us some of the code he was working on and talked about all the problem-solving he gets to do in his job. I'd love to be a computer programmer when I grow up so I can have a super cool workspace like Mike's.
My favorite part was definitely getting to visit the design studio where your team works on creating new products. The room had the most amazing energy, with colorful art and prototypes everywhere you looked. We met a designer named Jessica, who let us try out some virtual reality headsets and check out 3D models. It was so futuristic and high-tech!
Jessica explained how your team takes an idea for a new product, sketches out designs, builds digital and physical models, and tweaks the designs over and over until they get it just right. She said you aim to make your products "simple and intuitive, but innovative and delightful." I think that's such a cool goal! Someday I'd love to be able to dream up creative ideas and bring them to life like your designers do.
At the end of the tour, Sarah took us back to the lobby where you had set up a little snack station with lemonade, cookies, and fruit for us. It was so thoughtful of you to provide those refreshments! We got to take a break and I overheard my classmates buzzing about how awesome the tour was.
Ms. Garcia, our teacher, gathered us together before we left. She thanked Sarah and the rest of your team for being such wonderful hosts. Then she asked if any of us had questions. I
raised my hand really high because I had a burning question I needed to ask.
"At your company, do you get to have recess and nap time like we do at school?" I asked sincerely.
Sarah laughed and said, "No, we don't have scheduled recess or nap times. But we do take breaks to stretch our legs, grab snacks, and recharge when we need to!"
That made me feel a little better that grown-ups at work get some kind of breaks too, even if they aren't as fun as recess.
On the bus ride back to school, I couldn't stop talking about how awesome the tour was. Seeing your office and meeting your employees gave me such an inspiring look at what different career paths could be like. Even though I'm only in 4th grade, it got me thinking about what I might want to do when I'm older. Maybe I'll be a chef and get to cook delicious food all day. Or a computer programmer solving problems with code. Or maybe I'll become a designer and create amazing new gadgets!
Whatever I end up doing, your company showed me how a workplace can be vibrant, collaborative, and challenging in the best way. You opened my eyes to see that work doesn't have to be boring - it can be a place to exercise creativity, work together
as a team, and even have fun in the process of accomplishing big goals.
Thank you again for hosting us and making our tour so special and memorable. Your team went above and beyond to give us a welcoming, engaging experience that I'll never forget. You haveawesome employees doing meaningful, innovative work in such a cool environment. I feel lucky to have gotten a behind-the-scenes look at your impressive company.
Sincerely,
[Your name]

Dear Mr. Smith,
I'm writing to say a big THANK YOU to you and everyone at Awesome Co. for the incredible field trip you hosted for my class last week. It was the best day ever and I can't wait to tell you all about it!
First of all, thank you for the warm welcome we received when our school bus arrived. Seeing all your friendly employees waving and smiling at us made me feel so excited. I loved the
"Welcome Rogers Elementary" sign you had made just for us - it was such a thoughtful touch.
The tour of your factory was amazing! I had no idea how much work goes into making widgets. Who knew there were so many different machines and procedures involved? My favorite part was getting to wear those cool safety goggles and vests. I felt like a real factory worker!
Thank you for taking the time to explain everything in a way that kids like me could understand. Mr. Jones has a habit of using pretty complex words and ideas that go over my head. But you broke it all down into simple steps, and you made it so interesting with all the fun facts you shared. Did you know I want to be a mathematician when I grow up? I loved learning about how you use math and measurements to create the perfect widgets.
I also appreciated how patient and kind your employees were when we peppered them with a million questions. They didn't seem to mind our curiosity at all. In fact, I think they enjoyed telling us about their jobs and showing off their work spaces. I'll never forget Joe from Receiving - he let me operate that huge fork lift for a minute! Under very close supervision, of course, but still, how cool is that?
The pizza lunch in your campus courtyard was delicious. I've never had such a tasty pizza, and I've had a lot of pizza in my 9 years! Thanks for making sure to have veggie lovers' pizzas for kids like me who don't eat meat. My friend Tommy loved the pepperoni though. He had about 6 slices!
That magician you hired to entertain us during lunch was hilarious. I still can't figure out how he pulled that endless string of colored handkerchiefs from his sleeve. Magic is amazing! And the way he made that coin disappear and reappear in unexpected places...I'm going to have to look up some magic trick tutorials online so I can learn his secrets.
Thank you for giving us all those cool Awesome Co. t-shirts, frisbees, and fidget spinners as souvenirs. I'm wearing my shirt as I write this letter. Seeing your company logo makes me smile and remember what an awesome day I had.
I think what I'll remember most though is the kindness of your employees. They treated us like valued guests, not just young kids coming through to get a peek behind the scenes. They shook our hands, looked us in the eyes when they spoke to us, and made us feel like insiders at Awesome Co. for the day.
I could really sense the pride they took in their work and in being part of your company. They praised the products you
make, talked about the importance of quality control, and seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs. As a kid, that gave me such an positive impression of the working world. Now I can't wait to grow up and find a career that I love as much as they do.
I also appreciated how your employees talked about Awesome Co.'s commitment to ethical business practices and environmental sustainability. I learned that you donate a portion of profits to environmental cleanup efforts, you've switched to renewable energy sources for your factories, and you only use recycled materials. That's so cool! It's inspiring to see a company doing good while making useful products.
So from the bottom of my heart, thank you Mr. Smith, and thanks to every person at Awesome Co. who made our field trip such a fun, educational, and memorable experience. You all went above and beyond. I'm already looking forward to my next chance to visit!
Your new friend,
Tommy Jones

Dear Company Friends,
Hi there! My name is Jamie and I'm a 4th grader at Oakwood Elementary School. I'm writing to say a great big THANK YOU for having my class visit your company last week. It was the best field trip ever!
First off, I want to thank you for the warm welcome we received as soon as we stepped off the bus. Your staff greeted us with bright smiles and gave each of us a cool company t-shirt and baseball cap with your logo on it. I felt like a VIP right from the start! The shirts were so soft and comfy - I've been wearing mine all week.
The tour of your factory was amazing. I had no idea how much work goes into making the products you sell. The machines on the assembly line were huge and looked so
high-tech. It was mind-blowing to see those robots putting everything together with lightning speed and perfect precision. The best part was getting to take home the samples you made just for us kids. My little brother loves the stuffed animal version of your mascot!
I'll never forget the story your founder shared about how she came up with the idea for your company while doodling at her kitchen table. It was inspiring to hear how her dream grew from
just a simple sketch into an extremely successful business over the past 20 years. Her message about never giving up and believing in yourself really struck a chord with me. I have big dreams of becoming an author someday, so her words motivated me to keep writing my stories.
The interactive exhibits in your museum were so engaging and fun. Who knew learning could be that entertaining? I loved being able to go hands-on and get creative with all the different activities. Making that mini 3D model really helped me understand how your products are designed and put together. And virtual reality? WOW - I felt like I had shrunk down and was actually inside one of your gizmos! The sights and sounds were incredible.
But I think my absolute favorite part was the pizza party you hosted for us in your amazing cafeteria. Those were hands-down the most delicious slices I've ever tasted! The toppings bar was insane too - who knew you could put crushed pretzels and gummy worms on a pizza? I tried it and it was shockingly tasty. Letting us drink all the soda we wanted was very generous of you as well. I may have over-indulged on the root beer a bit...oops! And those colossal chocolate chip cookies for dessert were to die for. I'm still dreaming about them.
The super cool goodie bags you surprised us with at the end were the cherry on top of an already epic day. I've been having a blast playing with all the gadgets, toys, and games you packed inside. Thanks for including some tasty snacks too - those will come in handy for re-fueling when I'm wearing myself out with my new fun stuff. I also really appreciated you giving us those super plush blankets. It's the coziest thing ever to snuggle up with while watching movies.
I could go on and on, but I'll wrap it up by saying I'm so grateful my teacher picked your company for our class trip this year. It was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. You and your staff went so far above and beyond to roll out the red carpet for us kids. We felt like superstars getting the VIP treatment all day long! Your passion, hospitality, and generosity left me awestruck.
I want to be just like the amazing employees at your company when I grow up - hard-working, creative, and focused on putting smiles on people's faces every single day. This field trip opened my eyes to so many potential future career paths too. Who knows, perhaps I'll end up working for your awesome company someday!
Thank you again for your incredible kindness and for making it a day I'll cherish forever. You have a permanent fan in me! I'll be sure to tell everyone I know how spectacular your organization is.
Your Pal,
Jamie。
