初中英语作文运用所学解决实际问题经历
As a middle school student, I have encountered many real-life problems that require me to apply what I have learned in English class to solve them. One such problem was when I had to give a presentation in front of the whole class, but I was extremely nervous and unsure of how to speak confidently in English.
I remembered that in my English class, we had learned about public speaking techniques and how to overcome stage fright. I decided to apply these techniques to my situation. First, I practiced my presentation multiple times at home, focusing on my pronunciation, intonation, and body language. I also recorded myself speaking and listened to it to identify areas for improvement.
On the day of the presentation, I took deep breaths and reminded myself to speak slowly and clearly. I made eye contact with my classmates and tried to project confidence through my posture and gestures. To my surprise, I found that I was able to deliver my presentation smoothly and without stumbling over my words.
Another real-life problem I faced was when I had to write an essay on a topic I was not familiar with. I remembered that in my English class, we had learned about brainstorming techniques and how to structure an essay effectively. I decided to apply these skills to my writing process. I started by jotting down key points and ideas related to the topic, and then organized them into an outline.
I followed the outline to write the essay, making sure to include an introduction, body paragraphs with supporting evidence, and a conclusion. I also paid attention to my grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure to ensure that my writing was clear and coherent. After revising and editing the essay multiple times, I felt confident in submitting it to my teacher.
Through these experiences, I realized the importance of applying what I have learned in English class to real-life situations. By using the knowledge and skills I have acquired,
I was able to overcome challenges and achieve success. I now feel more confident in my English abilities and am better equipped to tackle future tasks and projects.。
