My Chinese New Year Diary。

As a Chinese, celebrating Chinese New Year is always the most important event of the year for me. This year, I spent the holiday with my family in my hometown.
On the eve of Chinese New Year, my family and I gathered together to have a big dinner. We enjoyed a
variety of delicious dishes, such as dumplings, fish, and rice cakes. After dinner, we watched the Spring Festival Gala on TV, which is a traditional show that has been broadcasted every year on Chinese New Year's Eve.
On the first day of Chinese New Year, my family and I visited our relatives and friends to exchange greetings and wish them good luck in the new year. We received red envelopes filled with money from our elders, which is a tradition that represents good fortune and blessings.
During the rest of the holiday, my family and I visited temples to pray for good luck and happiness in the new year. We also played traditional Chinese games, such as mahjong and card games, and enjoyed delicious snacks, such as tangyuan and niangao.
Overall, this Chinese New Year was a wonderful time for me to spend with my family and friends, and I am looking forward to celebrating it again next year.。
