趣味旅游故事英文作文

As a travel enthusiast, I have had many interesting experiences on my journeys. One of my favorite travel stories happened when I was backpacking through Europe.
I was in Venice, Italy, and decided to take a gondola ride through the canals. It was a beautiful sunny day, and the water was calm and clear. The gondolier was singing Italian songs and pointing out the different landmarks along the way.
Suddenly, the gondola hit something and we all felt a jolt. The gondolier quickly stopped and jumped out to see what had happened. It turned out that we had hit a large fish that was swimming near the surface of the water. The fish was stunned but alive, and the gondolier carefully lifted it back into the water.
As we continued on our ride, the gondolier told us that hitting a fish was actually good luck in Venice. He said that it meant we would have a successful journey and that we should make a wish. So, we all made a wish and continued on our ride.
Later that day, I found out that I had won a small prize in a local raffle. I like to think that the fish brought me some good luck that day.
