现场介绍英文作文高中范文
英文,。
I remember the first time I had to give a presentation in English. It was back in high school, and the topic was about famous landmarks around the world. I was incredibly nervous because not only did I have to speak in front of my classmates, but I also had to do it in a language that wasn't my native tongue.
Preparing for the presentation was nerve-wracking. I spent hours researching different landmarks, practicing my pronunciation, and writing and rewriting my speech. Despite all the preparation, I still felt butterflies in my stomach when it was finally my turn to speak.
But as soon as I started talking, something changed. The words seemed to flow more naturally, and I found myself getting into the rhythm of the presentation. Sure, there were a few stumbles here and there, but overall, I was
surprised by how well it went.
One thing that helped me a lot was using idioms and expressions in my presentation. For example, instead of
just saying that the Eiffel Tower is a popular tourist attraction in Paris, I said that it's "a must-see landmark that draws millions of visitors like a magnet." Using these kinds of phrases not only made my presentation more engaging, but it also helped me feel more confident as I spoke.
After the presentation, I received positive feedback from my classmates and even my teacher. They said that they were impressed by how fluent and confident I sounded. It was a huge confidence boost for me, and it made me realize that I was capable of expressing myself effectively in English.
Looking back, that experience taught me a valuable lesson about stepping out of my comfort zone and pushing myself to try new things. It also showed me the importance of preparation and practice when it comes to public
speaking. Now, whenever I have to give a presentation in English, I approach it with much more confidence and ease.
