(设计意图:充分给学生一次全面理解、认知课文的机会,同时让他们有一次语言输入的机会,为下面的环节做好充分的准备。)
3、小组初读课文整体感知,遇到不认识的单词、词组与句子找出并写在卡纸上,然后全班师生共同学习与解决。

教与学的策略
要求学生以小组为单位表演故事,教师并叫1-2组学生到教坛前表演故事。(设计意图:让学生在此活动中可创造性地使用语言,培养学生的想象力、创造力和引导学生体验参与,相互协助,培养合作精神 4、小结寓意。
教师鼓励学生说出本故事的寓意和看法,然后教师小结:做事不要抱着侥幸的心里和想着不劳而获。No pains no gains . Don't wait for another hare. Go for it.

活动概述
通过让学生唱歌曲“One, two, three, four, five”,从而引出农夫和野兔揭示课题。利用学生对故事有浓厚的兴趣,去讲述本寓言故事。经过老师的多次讲述,学生也从中不知不觉地学习讲故事。同时通过学生自主学习和小组合作交流的法式去学习单词和短语,并运用中理解单词的含义和用法。在课文学习方面,因为故事、寓言的趣味性较强,学生具备初步的运用英语进行听、说、读、写的能力,可以用各种各样的自主思维学习练习,让学生达到理解甚至讲出这个故事的要求。发展部分发挥学生的想象能力,编出农夫一个月之后会怎样或如果你是农夫的朋友你会对农夫说什么?把它
