So, I chose this major, business plus English, two in one, hehe.5. What subjects were your favorite? Why? 3:My favorite courses are mostly in my minor area of study, Public Relations, as my major Geography Education is not really my interest. I like the courses of PR Crisis, Corporate Image and Media Relations not only because their content is interesting and useful, but also because they are taught in a very interactive way. Most teachers have an overseas MBA degree so they taught us as MBA students. It’s really cool, you know, we usually did the case studies on our own first, and then presented our opinions in front of the whole class. I loved those subjects!6. What subjects were your least favorite? Why?7. Other than the courses you studied, what is the most important thing you learned from your college experience? 2:My biggest achievement in my college life, I think, is that I have learnt to make choices. My responsibilities are mainly to assist the sales manager and representatives with order tracking, stock reporting, document preparation and translation, using Excel, Word and PowerPoint. How do you feel about the prospect of frequent travel? 3:I don’t worry about frequent travel because my daughter is taken care of by my parents, who are both well-educated scholars. My mother says I’m hard working because it’s true, I am a bit of a workaholic. She says I am independent because she sent me to boarding school at 14 and I took very good care of myself. But maybe because she sent me away at a young age, I’ve learnt to make my own decisions instead of consulting her, so she feels I am stubborn, hehe.29. What do you consider your strengths as an employee? 2:I have good time management skills. As an assistant I often have several things in my hands at the same time so I have to manage my time well to work effectively. So I am very organized both at work and in personal life, never missing important events and deadlines.30. What do you see as your weaknesses as an employee? 1:I am not a great public speaker. When speaking in public I feel uncomfortable unless the topic is familiar. So I have to be well prepared before giving a presentation. As a matter of fact, I did lots of preparations for our interview today!32. Where do you see yourself being in your profession in five years? Why did you establish these goals?33. What will you do to achieve your career goals?34. What are your salary expectations for this position? Starting salary? Salary in five years? 1:I expect to have a salary between 4,000 and 5,000 as this is the average salary the students of our school can get. But we can negotiate that. As a new graduate I care about career development opportunities more than the starting salary. As to the salary in five years, frankly speaking, I haven’t eve n thought about it. The more the better, but of course, it depends on what I can do for the company.七、Questions35. What questions do you have for me?。

1. Recall a time from your work experience when your manager or supervisor was unavailable and a problem arose. What was the nature of the problem? How did you handle that situation? How did that make you feel?Sample excellent response: My supervisor was absent once when I was in charge of a soccer game. An actual assault took place at the game. A player hit the referee. With no supervisor to turn to, I immediately called the police, who quickly restored order to the situation. I felt I made an effective decision.2. Recall a time when you were assigned what you considered to be a complex project. Specifically, what steps did you take to prepare for and finish the project? Were you happy withthe outcome? What one step would you have done differently if given the chance?Sample excellent response: I had to give a marketing presentation while attending community college. The project was about Anheuser-Busch. We were assigned to report on key management personnel (CEO, Chairman of the Board, President, key VPs), divisions and subsidiaries, major products/brands/services, key financials for the most recent year (sales revenue, expenses, total income, net income, sales growth or loss for the last year), market share, key competitors, mission statement, product positioning, and number of employees. Among the steps I took were visiting the companys Miami branch to interview employees and gather visual aids for the project. I spent a lot of time organizing and writing thepresentation. Then I spent time reviewing my speech over a period of several days. As a result I was calm while giving the presentation and received an "A" for the project. The one additional step I perhaps wish Id taken would have been to talk to some consumers and store owners about the product.3. What was the most complex assignment you have had? What was your role?Sample excellent response: My senior research was my most complex assignment. It took two semesters to complete and was made up of many components. I had to make many critical decisions along the way that would affect the outcome of my research. I made these decisions independently with minimal influence from my professor. I was very successful and happy with my final product.4. How was your transition from high school to college? Did you face any particular problems?Sample excellent response: The transition was somewhat challenging for me because I traveled a great distance to attend college. To help myself adapt, I got involved with as many organizations as I could. I also made it a point to get to know my professors. I used my interpersonal and communication skills to the best of my ability to make a lot of friends, and college became one of the best experiences of my life despite a beginning that seemed a bit overwhelming.5. Tell of some situations in which you have had to adjust quickly to changes over which you had no control. What was the impact of the change on you?Sample excellent response: The bank in which I worked instituted a policy that centralized the lending process. An application was to be taken from the client and sent off to be approved/declined, processed, prepared, and returned to the branch to be signed by the client. While the process was streamlined, it also took away valuable face-to-face knowledge about the client and the loan. If the employee did not have any prior lending experience, he or she couldnt answer simple loan questions from the client. While I appreciated the newly created time on my schedule, I felt that the clients were being slighted. I did adjust quickly to the new procedure and did my best to help those around me by sharing my knowledge. 1. Tell of a time when you worked with a colleague who was not completing his or her share of the work. Who, if anyone, did you tell or talk to about it? Did the manager take any steps to correct your colleague? Did you agree or disagree with the managers actions?Sample excellent response: During a group project in college, we had one member who would do no work whatsoever. The project was to compare and contrast four companies in a single industry, so his work was vital. We first discussed the situation and asked for the bare-bones minimum of what we needed from him. We got just below that. As a result we as a group went to the professor and told her our situation -- not expecting or requesting action -- just informing her the situation we were dealing with. Then we as a group split up the non-contributors work, and completed our work collectively on his share. In phase two in which we analyzed theinformation and reported how each of our companies fared compared to the others, we did not get a paper from the group member. As a result, we told the teacher that we had our work done, and were willing to do the extra paper but that we would rather spend time polishing our own work, and not picking up slack. She agreed and said to focus on the three companies we had compiled the most info on while not entirely neglecting the fourth. The papers came out very well, but were understandably weak when comparing the fourth company. The professor understood, and we received the grades we deserved. I was pleased with our teamwork and the way we handled the situation.2. Describe a situation in which you had to arrive at a compromise or guide others to a compromise.Sample excellent response: My first semester in college, I was a political-science major. My introductory government class professor had a differing political view then I. We disagreed on everything, and many classes were filled with criticizing each other’s view. However, on one test I answered a question with the view I believe in, and she marked it wrong. So I asked her how an opinion can be wrong, and she said because her opinion is the way she taught it in class. I pointed out that my answer showed I understood the concepts of the question. She agreed, and I also agreed not be so combative in answers on tests. Compromise is the key to problem resolution.3. We can sometimes identify a small problem and fix it before it becomes a major problem. Give an example(s) of how you have done this.Sample excellent response: When I worked in a large retail store, the standard procedure was to leave a product on the shelf until it ran out, then place more items out. This practice obviously wasted a lot of man-hours. Of interest particularly to me were the air conditioners. Not only did I have to put the heavy thing on the shelves, but they were selling at a very high rate. So if somehow AC units ran out on a day in which I could not restock them, they would not be available to customers. As a result I started making a list of products (including the AC units) that the overnight stock people could put on the shelves. As a result, the people on duty always had a job to do, so labor hours were not wasted, and the shelves were always stocked full of product.4. In a supervisory or group leader role, have you ever had to discipline or counsel an employee or group member? What was the nature of the discipline? What steps did you take? How did that make you feel? How did you prepare yourself?Sample excellent response: As president of a community-service organization, I was faced with a board member not carrying out his duties as management development vice president. I consulted with him as to what we could do together to fix the problem. We agreed that he really couldnt devote the time that it took to carry out certain projects, and he ended up resigning his position, but he also stated he would help his replacement in whatever capacity he could. It made me feel as though we had come to the conclusion together, rather than him thinking I was criticizing his performance, which was not the case. I had a plan of action and carried it out successfully. 1. Give me an example of a time when you were able to successfully communicate with another person even when that individual may not have personally liked you (or vice versa).Sample excellent response: During my time in the theater, I had one director with whom I absolutely did not work well. However, because of my track record, she would assign me as stage director and/or assistant director. I was usually involved in the day-to-day operations of the play and the details of how the play would be performed. I handled the operation for the play by directing scenes the best way I could and then showing them to her for approval. If she did not like the way a scene worked, I gave her my opinion as to why it should be my way. If we still could not compromise, I would follow her directions to the best of my ability. Understanding that people dont usually have malicious intentions is key, and understanding that you will never be able to convince some people that your way is right is the best way to avoid conflict and still get the job done.2. Sometimes its easy to get in "over your head." Describe a situation where you had to request help or assistance on a project or assignment.Sample excellent response: Its impossible to know everything in the IT field because of rapidly changing technology, so recently when we were having troubles with our circuit emulation over our ATM network, I had to call in some engineers from North Carolina to come help me out. The nice thing about asking for help is that when you get the assistance, you can learn from what you are told and apply it to future situations.3. Give an example of how you applied knowledge from previous coursework to a project in another class.Sample excellent response: Last semester I was taking a microeconomics and a statistics course. One of the microeconomics projects dealt with showing the relationship between the probability that customers would stop buying a product if the price was raised a certain amount. Through what I learned in statistics I could find the median where the price was the highest and still kept most of the customers happy.4. Describe a situation where others you were working with on a project disagreed with your ideas. What did you do?Sample excellent response: I was on a project team in a business class in my freshman year in college, The group brainstormed ideas for the video we were assigned to produce, and everyone but me was leaning toward an idea that would be easy. I suggested instead an idea that would be more difficult but would be something different that no other group would be doing. I used my communications skills to persuade the rest of the group to use my idea. During the project, we really learned what teamwork was all about, became a close team, and ended up putting a lot of hard work into the project. All the team members ended up feeling very proud of the video, and they thanked me for the idea -- for which we earned an A.5. Describe a situation in which you found that your results were not up to your professors or supervisors expectations. What happened? What action did you take?Sample excellent response: Recently I was asked to put together a proposal for a migration of network systems. Misunderstanding my boss, I thought it was just an informal paper. When I presented it to him days later, he was upset with the quality since it had to be presented to our VP. I explained my misunderstanding, apologized, reworked the paper, andhad it back to him with enough time for him to review it before he presented it successfully at the meeting.。

What’s the meaning of your English name?

Actually, Sushi is my nickname. My friends gave me this name because I like to eat the Japanese food sushi.

1、What are your strengths/weaknesses?IMPORTANT — this common job interview question can be asked in many different ways, such as “What qualities do you admire in others that you would like to develop in yourself?”Strengths should be easy enough to think about (keep the position in mind).Talking about weaknesses can be harder but good interview answers are still possible. Many people choose to mention something which they’ve recognized as being a weakness but have overcome.“I’d like to be more organized, like one of my colleagues. She doesn’t have to try. But because I don’t find it as easy as her, I use to-do lists and a diary to help me successfully manage my work”.On a final note, it’s much safer to highlight your lack of experience or knowledge as a weakness than a fault in your personality. Employers can always give you experience but few want to help you overcome shortcomings in your personality! So avoid telling interviewers that you “get bored” or “too involved” or “frustrated”!2、Why did you think you are suited to this job? What they are really asking is “You know what we are looking for so can you tell us what you have done or what you have, that is relevant.”3、Why should we give the job to you above other applicants? This is often our closing question. We want to know, in a nutshell, why you are the best candidate for the job. This is a chance to list your best attributes as they relate to the vacancy. Don’t be cocky, but don’t be shy.4、How well do you work under pressure?“I know that all jobs involve some sort of pressure at some time.I can work as well under pressure as I do at any other time but when I am busy, I prioritize activities so that my workload is manageable.”If the interviewers focus on other pressure, such as pressure to meet targets, dealing with difficult customers etc, give an appropriate reply, mentioning past situations where you have coped under such pressure.5、What sort of people do you find it difficult to work with?“I am an easy going person who seems to get on with everyone. If I have to pick a type of person that bothers me, it’s the one who doesn’t pull their weight or isn’t worried about the standard of their work because it reflects badly on the rest of the team.”6、Sell me this pen!In interviews for sales job, you may hear this, believe us! In fact, one of us had a non-sales interview and was asked this, unexpectedly. The object you are asked to sell could in fact be anything. Some interviewers like to see whether you focus on the benefits of the object or its features. The features of the pen might be that it’s blue, with a roller ball andplastic coating. The benefits might be that it’s reliable, easy to hold and leak proof. 1、What key skills do you think you need to be successful in this role? You got this far because your job application form or resume or CV matched the interviewers’ criteria as specified in the job advert. Just expand on this in your job interview answers. List the skills you think are required, giving a little explanation as to why each is needed. You might then be asked to give examples where you’ve used one or more of these skills. These are behavioural interview questions.2、Where do you see yourself in five years time? This can be a difficult job interview question to answer, especially if you’ve not thought beyond getting this job! When you answer, you want to sound ambitious enough to be motivated to do a good job, but not too ambitious in case your interviewers think you’re only using this job as a stepping stone to something better.I can be successful in this job and taken on additional responsibilities and be considered suitable for promotion.3、How does this job fit into your career plans? This is a similar job interview question to the one above really, except that it looks beyond five years. Be realistic. You might say something like this if you’re going for a middle-management position:“My ambition is to lead a department and be involved in strategic decision-making at a senior level. I expect the role I’m applying for to give me more experience of leading and some introduction to strategy so that I’m ready for a senior role in a few years time”.4、Where did you think you’d be at this stage in your life?Avoid saying further than you are now! It’s better to show you’ve met or exceeded your ambitions than fallen short of them. Tell the interviewers that you are happy with your life and career, but are looking for more challenge as you like to stretch yourself to achieve more.5、If you could start again, what career decisions would you make differently? You’re on sticky ground if you start trying to think of hypothetical career changes that might have served you better in the past. Your answers to interview questions will suggest you’re not happy with the way things are and no-one wants to hire an unhappy person.“I wouldn’t change anything. I am happy with my career as it is now but want fresh challenges.”“I’m not the kind of person who looks back with regrets. I prefer to invest my energy looking forward”. 1、What can you tell me about XYZ Company? If you need to, start by saying “Is it ok if I refer to my notes?”. When you get the nod, off you go.A good interview answer should include short factual statements covering such things as the Company’s history, its products, staff numbers, turnover and future business objectives. Something like this is fine: “I believe the Company began in 1967, with just one outlet, but now has 25. From what I’ve read, you sell A,B andC products across Europe and the States and have a turnover in excess of $5 million. You employ 125 staff. I beleive you hope to enter the Asian market by ″. “I’ve done some research and can tell you more if you like”.You will likely hear “No, that’s fine. Thank you.”Your interviewers will be impressed that you prepared and made notes and you’re off to a good start.2、What do you think XYZ Company can offer you? There are two bits to this interview question, the role and the Company. Mention both. You might say:“I’m told the Company has a firm commitment to individual training and development. This is great news for me because I’m keen to learn and advance in the Company. The role itself appears challenging and rewarding which I’ll find very motivating”.3、If you’re successful, what do you think you’ll be doing day-to-day?You might start by saying “I understand that I’ll be…”. Then you could talk about the main role, any other activities and any targets you expect to be given.。

me about yourself.

Drivingis my hobby. I really love the feeling of driving on the road. Carsare my best friends. ."

2. What are your three greatest strengths回答这个问题的时候不可以含混不清,不可以只是简单回答 "I'm really organized, punctu al and getalong well with others."

I think my three biggest strengths are details-oriental, patientand cautious." I think my biggest strengths ar ethat I am aggressive, hard working andcommunicative."

3. What are your three greatest weaknesses

Iam a perfectionist and I pay very much attention to details."4. Why are you interested in working for our company这个问题主要考察应聘者是否对这个工作进行了了解,或者是否真正有兴趣,所以需要围绕整个公司的具体情况来回答,让面试官知道你很清楚这个公司的运营模式,以及对这项工作非常积极。

Itseemed like a good career move."或是 "I haven't been able to findanything else interesting."

Iread an article in the newspaper and was very impressedby..."

5. Why did you leave your last job

Ididn't agree with the company's direction.” I got no recognition formy work." "My boss was totally unreasonable. "要从自身发展的角度出发来回答:"I love dmy last job and really learned a lot from it, but I needed a newplatform and more room to succeed in my career."

6. If we hire you, how long will you stay with us这个问题是老板想知道你会不会像离开上一份工作那样很快的也离开这里,可以这样回答:"As long as my position hereallows me to learn and to advance at a pace with my abilities."

7. Tell me about a difficult time at your previous job.

8. Do you have any questions for me这也是一个面试中经典的结束问题,测试应聘者是否真正对这份工作真正有兴趣与热爱,此时应该询问具体的问题以显示应聘者非常了解该公司,对未来的工作有很多的期待和好主意,充分表示热情。

Ilearned that your company has seen tremendous growth in recentyears. I'm keen to know how you created suchsuccess." (1) 1、Why are you interested in working for our company 2、Because your company has a good sales record.
