The New Year#39;s day and the scream is written by lu xun, and he tells some interesting stories about lu xun#39;s childhood. It depicts the life of the people in the late qing dynasty and the early Ming dynasty.Scream, lu xun portrays the life one after another in the reactionary forces under the hard life of sentiments, lu xun in portraying the character, don#39;t pay attention to money and status, is more of a spiritual ignorance, numbness.Lu xun#39;s life was hard. He was a young man in his childhood. He was kept in a high wall and in the courtyard. He was not exposed to the outside world, and his knowledge was poor. He studied hard in his youth and was dissatisfied with the teaching of private schools at that time. He went out to study. When he wrote these works, lu xun ate all kinds of hardships, and the reactionary forces oppressed him, but he persevered and tried to save the hearts of the masses. I admire him very much. Many people in the world are trying to find a perfect panion. Some of these may marry and not know what their new husband or wife is like. This kind of situation often leads to separation or hostility. Other situations may develop between two friends that stem from jealousy, desire for revenge, uncaring parents, etc. Emily Bront?#39;s Wuthering Heights displays several characteristics of destructive relationships. Three of these are uncaring parents, marriage without knowing the person, and jealousy.Uncaring or unsympathizing parents are shown throughout this story to be an element of destructive relationships. Because Heathcliff gained all the attention from Mr. Earnshaw, Hindley became disassociated from his father. This separation continued until after Mr. Earnshaw had died.Another example is between Hindley and Hareton. Hindley became such a drunk and a gambler that he could not properly care for young Hareton. This led to a separation between Hareton and his father as well. One primary example of an uncaring parent is shown between Heathcliff and his son Linton.Heathcliff did not even want his son for anything except enacting a part of his revenge. This is shown by Linton#39;s fear of Heathcliff and Heathcliff#39;s enmity toward his son. Linton even says 。

英语文学名著读后感(精选5篇)英语文学名著读后感(篇1)On Sister Carrie Carrie was such an ordinary rural girl at the beginning of the story. Sitting on the seat of a bus she couldn’t help feeling exciting at the sight of the metropolis’ spectacle. She was impressed deeply by large crowd on the avenue the spacious square or tall buildings. Far more different from other heroines Carrie was not a plain pure angel like Snow-white nor was she brave enough to be a heroine of revolutionist or even a reformer nor was she so clever as to be a successful career woman who start from scratch. What attracted her most after her entering this huge metropolis was the incredible fineries fashion shoes smart handbags displaying in the shop windows the jewellerys shining brightly behind the glass. She dreamed that one day she could wear all of these jogging gracefully into the most luxurious hotel with focused sights of admiration. And this was not merely a dream. Because she had large eyes which can earn others’ sympathy even love. She had wonderful figure which can win others’ hearts. However anything she got anywhere she reached had not come from her ambition.Things happened and then she accepted. That’s what she had just done ? just to accept willingly from the bottom of her heart. She was not at all an evil woman who would give anything for the fortune or fame. However she would give uo something for a better life when her instinct defeated her intellect. That was Carrie a girl had her own desire a human being just like many others in the realistic world. There’s one sentence written in chapter VIII:” When this jangle of free-will instinct shall have been adjusted when perfect understanding has given the former the power to replace the latter entirely man will no longer vary.” However how many people can go that further.英语文学名著读后感(篇2)the novel opens with the famous line, "it is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife.". and ends with two marriages: jane and bingleys, as well as darcy and elizabeths. both couples are assumed to live happily ever after.elizabeth (lizzy) bennet is the core of the family. elizabeth is the second of mr. and mrs. bennets five daughters, and is an intelligent, bold, attractive twenty-year-old when the story begins. in addition to being her fathers favourite, elizabeth is characterized as a sensible, yet stubborn, woman. misled by his cold outward behaviour, elizabeth originally holds mr. darcy in contempt. however, she finds that mr. darcy improves on acquaintance, more so than she would expect.fitzwilliam darcy (commonly known as mr. darcy) is the central male character and elizabeths second love interest in the novel. he is an intelligent, wealthy, extremely handsome and reserved 28-year-old man, who often appears haughty or proud to strangers but possesses an honest and kind nature underneath. initially, he considers elizabeth his socialinferior, unworthy of his attention, but he finds that, despite his inclinations, he cannot deny his feelings for elizabeth. his initial proposal of marriage is rejected because of his pride and elizabeths prejudice against him; however, at the end of the novel, after their relationship has blossomed, he is happily engaged to a loving elizabeth.role of women in the 18th centuryin late-18th-century england, women were relegated to secondary roles in society with respect to property and social responsibilities. for example, women were not permitted to visit new arrivals to the neighbourhood (such as mr. bingley in pride and prejudice) until the male head of their household had first done so. women were under enormous pressure to marry for the purpose of securing their financial futures and making valuable social connections for their families. therefore, marriage, though romanticised, was in many ways a financial transaction and social alliance rather than a matter of love. although jane austen did not condone loveless marriages (she stayed single all her life), she did approve of matches having equality in various respects, including wealth, social status, love and character. in pride and prejudice, wealth, social status, chastity (and the perception of chastity) and physical attractiveness are depicted as factors affecting a womans chances for a good m英语文学名著读后感(篇3)i believe that one of the factors that makes a piece of literature or even a movie a masterpiece is how well the reader can relate to the story. this is definitely a book everyone can relate to.the adventures of tom sawyer is a literary masterpieces, written in 1876 by the famous author mark twain. tom sawyer is a mischievous young boy who lives in the small town on the mississippi river called st. petersburg. the story line is simple, the book reads like a biography or a memoir of a summer in tom sawyers life.tom sawyer seems to be the precursor of and the template for misfit kids such as dennis the menace, malcolm in the middle, and calvin and hobbs. what makes this story great is that tom sawyer represents everything that is great about childhood. the book is filled with toms adventures playing pirates and war with his friend joe harper. tom has a trusted friend, huck finn, who few of the adults approve of. the book is filled with ideas of how the world works, such as how pirates and robbers work, that are so innocent, they could only come from a child. it is a story filled with action, adventure, ingenious ideas, love, and schoolyard politics. the whole story is seemingly a complication of what people did or wish they did during their childhood.the book is a little difficult to read at first. personally, it takes me a little while to get used to the 19th century dialect in the book. other than referring to persons of african decent in derogatory terms (which im sure uses terms even young children already know), the book would be an enjoyable read for people of all ages. i highly recommend this book for anyone looking to feel young again, if just for a few hundred pages.英语文学名著读后感(篇4)i read the book written by luxun .it is called zhaohuaxishi. it includes 10short articles about the writers stories .they are based on his own experience ,when i read this book ,i feel very happy to see luxuns childhood. it wasdiffrent from ours,so we may find it intersting and exciting. luxuns langange isvery great but maybe difficult to understand . but through his words ,we canfind his happiness in his heart .英语文学名著读后感(篇5)ive just fininshed reading the first 4 harry potter books for about the 5th time through, and theyre just as magical and affecting as they have ever been. everything is in here: suspense, adventure, mystery, humour, danger. theres even some pretty satisfying paybacks. the characters are fantastic and fantastically realistic. there are bad people who turn out to be good guys and good people who turn out to be bad guys, just like life.i think the thing i like best about these books is the message that its okay to be different - to be not "normal." i would love for everyone in school to have hear that message. it would probably reduce the bullying around the school.these books value real thoughts. much has been made of harrys rule breaking, but only once in the series so far does he break a rule for arbitrary personal gain. most of the time he makes a decision that whats right is more important than whats written. and you know what? lifes likethat sometimes. i think its great that kids are getting an example of how to do whats right even when it involves breaking rules. the potter books also show that there are consequences for rule breaking. if not getting caught and getting a detention, then a spell going wrong and someone getting turned into a cat. this shows that when you make a decision to go against the rules that things may not go as you expected and you have to take responsibility for the outcome.。

the reason is the nature of goodness. i think it is the most important information implied in the novel by dickens-he believed that goodness could conquer everydifficulty. although i don’t think goodness is omnipotent, yet i dobelieve that those who are kind-hearted live more happily than those who are evil-minded.for me, the nature of goodness is one of the most necessary character for a person. goodness is to humans what water is to fish. he who is without goodness is an utterly worthless person. on the contrary, as the famous saying goes, ‘the fragrance always stays in the hand t hat gives the rose’, he who is with goodness undoubtedly is a happy and useful person. people receiving his help are grateful to him and he also gets gratified from what he has done, and thus he can do good to both the people he has helped and himself.to my disappointment, nowadays some people seem to doubt theexistence of the goodness in humanity. they look down on people’s honesty and kindness, thinking it foolish of people to be warm-hearted. as a result, they show no sympathy to those who are in trouble and seldom offer to help others. on theother hand, they attach importance to money and benefit. in their opinion, money is the only real object while emotions and morality are nihility. if they cannot get profit from showingtheir ‘kindness’, they dr aw back when others are faced with trouble and even hit a man when he is down. they are one of the sorts that i really detest.francis bacon said in his essay, ‘goodness, of all virtues and dignities of the mind, is the greatest, being the character of the deity, and without it, man is a busy, mischievous, wretched thing, no better than a kind of vermin.’that is to say a person without goodness is destined to loseeverything. therefore, i, a kind person, want to tell those‘vermin-【篇三:300字英语名著读后感】frankenstein was a good scientist.he wanted to use elestricity to help people, and he wanted to discover the secrets of life.he worked very hard on these two things.he wanted to create a new life, but he was not allowed to make such medical experiments.he made a body in his laboratory and he didnot let anybody enter his labtatory or his flat while he was doing this awful work.he bought or stole all the pieces of human body that he needed, and slowly and carefully, he put them all together. he used electricity from lighting to give life to the body. in the beginning, the monster was kind and helpful. but when he was hated everywhere by his creator and people,he felt very painful. he became hated everything and wanted to destroy everything.he killed frankensteins son, william and fiancee ,elizabeth.frankenstein filled with anger chase him with his creation demonic monster, finally, frankenstein and the monster in the fight they died.it is a very terrible story. frankenstein created a monster, in this society in which the subject of ridicule, discrimination, so that he eventually became hate everything, trying to ruin everything. this is not just to create a simple person, but to create a satan, a devil. if people all show kindness for the monster, it would be a good man.there would not be many people losing their lives.in the story, the monster asked frankenstein to make a second creature.but at last, frankenstein did not.i think he is right.if he does that, there may be more people to be dead.maybe in the future, there will be no person on earth. it is awful.from the story,i learned that everyone should have sympathy. do not only care about appearance.。

1Jouney to the West is a historic Chinese novel that is considered one of the 4 classics from the Ming Dynasty .These novels along with Outlaws of the Marsh, A Dream in Red Mansion as well as Three Kindoms ha一ve won popular acclaim from generation to generation . Jouney to the West is actually a combination of myth , parable and comedy .It is filled with imagination and ha一ve enjoyed a great and immense popularity among the people in China for over 400 years on account of its fresh and convoluted plots , distinctive and life-like characters, profound and incisive ideological content and life-hearted style .It is based on a story about a Buddhist monk and a bunch of animals with human characteristic(which are his 3 disciples ,the irrevent and capable Monkey, greedy Pig, and Friar Sand) .The animals in the story are actually of a very fairy tale type of mood and they tra一veled west to India to find Buddhist scriptures. The animals themselves are celestial being in mortal forms and they ha一ve magical powers that protect them from the goblins and the evil spirits.Monkey was created out of a rock. He not only has the sharp wit and an unruly nature of a monkey but also extra ordinary powers that he uses to overcome demons and monsters. Monkey is also gifted with intelligence and agility both mentally and physically. So he puts his talents to use by mastering his skills ofwizardry to the point of where he can transform himself 72 times in a blink of an eye. He has a magic wand that can shrink smaller than a pen or expand till it is like a club of bronze and a magic cloud that can take him up to the hea一vens or down to the bales of the earth. Full of life and filled with spirit as well as being sincere and optimistic in nature, he is not bothered by suffering and is always ready to face up to new challenges.Pig sets off his pig like clumsiness with the disposition that is the epitome of honesty and directness. He is always making a mess out of things and generating a lot of humor in the process. Pig fills a role that symbolizes the desire to comfort and pleasure. He too has magical powers but it is just not the same as monkey , who makes him seem naive and clumsy by comparison .Monkey just love to tease him , so pig does all his best to be a thorn in monkey’s side by telling lies about him to Tang Priest.Another character that appears quite less frequently is Friar Sand . He is quite resolute and his down-to-earth nature is readily apparent. In Jouney to the West, a total of 87 chapters are dedicated to the story of the Tang Priest ,Xuang Zang’s quest for the Buddhist scriptures. In the course of their journey , they bra一ve a series of dangers and vanquish devils and monsters. The road to the Western Paradise is fraught with danger , whether in mountains and forests or in villages and towns .Before the monk can find the scriptures he must surmount 81 obstacles . Demons of all descriptions like the ferocious Red Boy, the scorpion sipirt of Pipa Ca一ve and spiderwomen ,etc. try to bar their way ,even to the extent of killing and eating XuangZang .Some of these ghostly opponents appear openly hostile ,while others are cunningly disguised . Some wield power over kingdoms or feignto officials carrying out their lawful duties .Monkey plays a central role in every battle with the monsters ,not only contending with them face to face , but also helping his companions overcome the obstacles and restraints that originate within themselves. After overcoming all kinds of evil and devious enemies , with Monkey as the backbone of the company ,the tra一velers finally reach the Western Paradise and accomplish their sacred mission of taking back the scriptures . In this so-called “ stories of the 81 obstacles” which symbolize the difficulties and challenges that people meet in the course of pursuing their ideals , the staunch spirit and character of the 4 companions to battle all enemies and overcome all hurdles in order to attain their goal is manifested very clearly and as much it is a vivid portrayal of the spirit and character of the Chinese nation. With supernatural beings as its protagonists ,Journey to the West creates a world full of fantasy and illusion. But this fantasy world reflects various kinds of contradictions in the society of Wu Chen’en’s time .The characters of the demons are generalizations and sublimations of the characters of ordinary mortals .Fantasy and reality reach a high level of synthesis in Jouney to the West.Humor is a major characteristic of the style of Jouney to the West. Money is the supreme comic figure in this classical Chinese novel. His humor springs from his optimistic self-confidence and his sharp ability to perceive people’s true natures ,as well as his tolerance of others’ weaknesses and his hatred of evil .The humor in this novel is also manisfested in certain plots & subplots of the nature of comedies. Pig’s clumsy actions a nd speech are invariably hilarious ,but the laughter he elicits is tolerant but sad at the same time .This is because the weaknessesin Pig’s character are not unique or accidental ,they ’re common traits of the Chinese character. The author’s humor is built up on a base of profound knowledge of human society and a high degree of psychological penetration.Actually Journey to the west is purification of the mind in that the entire expedition to find Buddhist scriptures is actually a way of achieving spiritual goodness. So in this play three weaknesses arrogance, laziness, even ignorance, they are all weakness of human nature that requires spiritual correction. However honesty ,goodness ,and courage are all our friends in the depths of our soul. And this way the Journey to the west teach us that in human life it is possible to temper ourselves to achieve ideals and goodness. 2"Journey to the west" is the story of tang's monk teacher and pupil four people to go to India to obtain buddhist scriptures. The four of them each have each have advantages, also have various shortcomings.Tang's monk is the advantage of scriptures is determined, no matter how many difficulties on the road, he will go forward, never retreat. 1‘WE ARE EQUAL!’ When these three words came out of the plain-looking girl’s mouth, the whole world was shocked. We have good reason to be shocked——deprived of family happiness from an early age, with neither beauty nor wealth to speak of, Jane Eyre seems to be never destined to become the heroine shining in the spotlight we often read about in romances——but is there really such a thing called destiny? At least Jane doesn’t think so. She is not pretty; she is not rich; she is a mere ordinary governess, so what? As an individual human existence, she has dignity as well as anyone else, so she deserves the chance to love and to be loved as well as anyone else! Despite her short, delicate body, her soul is not the least weaker than others’——even greater than most of them. The moment she said the three powerful words to Mr. Rochester proudly and steadily, her pale face must have been sparkling with sacredness, which would have made her the most beautiful woman ever, because the beauty of independence is eternal. With this spirit of independence she not only gained herself love, respect and happiness but also proved to the world that nobody is second class——unless you believe yourself to be.Hundreds of thousands of ordinary girls that usually get neglected in life——me included——love and admire Janedeeply because she inspires and encourages us to strive for our life goals against all odds bravely. She is a role model, an idol in our hearts but at the same time a friend, a big sister next door who’s not at all cold and distant, always ready and willing to stand by our side whenever we are in trouble. Every time when I feel inferior, puzzled and lose faith in myself and the strength to carry on the life path already chosen, Jane, my dear friend’s determined face and forceful words on that serene summer night would emerge inside my mind, which never failed to relight my fire of passion. Oh, how I long to be like her.But it’s not that I totally believe in her life story, by which I mean I don’t think the story of hers can happen to anybody. To me, it’s somewhat like a fairy tale that begins with ‘long long ago’ and ends with ‘ever after’,in which the prince and princess, though having suffered much in the process of getting together, would always end up in a harmonious marriage and enjoy all the best life has to offer. Being an obscure girl herself, the author Charlotte Bronte was so generous as to have provided our dear Jane a Mr. Rochester who loves her just the way she is, appreciates her unique character and a kindhearted family (later proved to be her relatives)that took her in when she was helpless and offered her a job to support herself. In reality, not every Jane Eyre can meet the proper people at the right time, just as not every ugly duckling can turn into a graceful swan——it may depend on a matter of luck. If you are too obsessed with fairy tales, you are very likely to feel disappointed and deceived by the not-so-perfect everyday life. But what are fairy tales for? We love to read them and we tend to believe in them even though we know they are not real. Sometimes we do need a little romantic daydream as seasonings in the routine of life, and wealso need an ideal to believe in, a creed to live by, and a northern star to show us directions on the long journey. That’s maybe what Jane Eyre is for——it gives numerous common girls a possibility to look forward to, a life to reach for, and above all, a positive attitude to face all odds to encounter. Perhaps we can’t all have her luck, but we can have her independence, confidence, persistence, the courage of standing up to fight for ourselves against those seemingly taller than us, and the faith that we can finally win because WE ARE EQUAL. 2At first glance, "the elephant man" when one is his accustomed to black and white color preference, two is directed to director David Lynch (DavidLynch) name, the "Elephant Man", David Lynchs 1980 debut, let me cry.He is not like a man, not an animal, man is man. This is the theme of the film is also the protagonist is Merrick - angle into despair when the last shout, but do not seek to rescue.Like the slow start of a film: a beautiful girl in a picture frame, a mother of desperate people, a herd of noisy elephants. With the background of the noisy sound of the horn, a girls body by elephants trampled trampling. The girl, a mother, the absurd experiences in the rainforest, the origin of the story, was brought to the abstract with such montage. Then it was a long two hours.Black-and-white picture. As people have natural aversion physiological wheeze, deformed body, ugly skin, big head, only can distinguish the left eye and a clear or are left, the beautiful ugly appearance of the sacred heart, night prayer nerve lamb slaughtered lamb. That is the man.Man is innocent, he tremble with fear like a child, he was afraid of his people to the whip, he laughed at, he was afraid ofthose people outside the window harbour evil designs appear suddenly in the face, he is afraid of even a sudden closing sound, he is afraid to speak. He took a picture of his mother with a girl with an angels face, and then he said sadly, "if my mother is still there, she must not want to see me."......Will be ashamed of me, I, I put her to shame......Even those who just posturing like close to him, he was overwhelmed by an unexpected favour, happy like a child, he would say: it is really, really so? He did not dare to believe that he thought his life would really like an animal in the lower dark wet through with a weak body, and heavy wheeze. He expected to come from outside the church, he just wants to do for an ordinary person, but the church is not far out of the window, so close that he could not see, he can only draw the outline of it in the heart, to create his ideal to use their own imagination, one for ordinary people not worth mentioning the ideal.Sentimental personality signature cold girlI think that this is just Lynch made up by the abnormal people to ridicule the world of black humor, a "Notre Dame de Paris" continuity and reconstruction, with cruel body face to sing the sanctity of the heart. When I began to search for more information about the driver, I find the story of JosephMerrick."The elephant man" is based on the real experiences of change and JosephMerrick. Its a shock and a sad truth.More than 100 years ago, before the real man.In fact, the reality is far more cruel than what the film shows. After Merrick died, his body was kept by the Royal Infirmary in London for experiments. His rare pathology became a problem that puzzled the medical community for more than 100 years. While the film with deformity of dwarf relief and the doctor finally conscience to prove a perfect one, but still unable to save the mansdeath.JosephMerrick had personally made a church out of cardboard, and it was gorgeous and fragile."If not, maybe I can please you better and please the world," says JosephMerrick.......If I could......If you can measure his worth with ones soul......In the end, the film comes back to the beginning of abstraction and illusion, because we can not get answers in the real world.A voice said, it is a dead mother, she said: nothingwilldie. 3People are dying in this story called "living".A chance at high school, the Chinese teacher gave us a share in Yu Huas Novels "alive" by the movie, this is my first time to contact the "live" this works, then determined the Internet to buy a book and began to carefully taste the real flavor between the lines."Alive" actually tells the story of a persons life story, the book tells the story of a fukki rich young master, first put into a family gambled all the poor father died and he resented; unfortunately caught by the Kuomintang when young men died after those in the world, but the mother is sick then the son has died; Qing was blood to die, her daughter Feng Xia died due to postpartum septicemia, wife Zhende rickets eventually died; and two injured died like son-in-law, grandson of bitter root by eating beans by death; finally, only the old Fu and a cow story. This is an old man who has gone through the vicissitudes and tribulations of the world. The authors brushwork is very quiet, not deliberately to foil a kind of ups and downs of the atmosphere, with the authors plain narrative, experienced the heros life, sad and happy. After reading Yanjuan meditation, the heart is heavy, feeling indescribably sad, it seems that life can experiencemisfortune befell the hero. Thinking about the protagonists experiences, I began to think: what is the meaning of life?I think the value of living is growing.Something from a completely spoiled and unruly wealthy young master to a prop up the ordinary peasant family, no regrets, this period is not something hated complained, but more is to allow yourself to accept the reality, continue to be strong, this is growing fukki, this is the purpose of his life. From the outset we cannot decide the birth, or rich or poor or healthy or sick, some people do not feel happy, that will start to ask why people alive? However, when we are from the past that even the 99 multiplication tables are difficult to calculate now back pupil function, learn mathematics; from the past under the guidance of the teacher will appreciate an article now will own appreciation of his creation of an article; from the past to now unsuspectingly naive mature mind and mentality across from the past; capricious temper now for the sake of their parents. Weve been growing up this way, and thats what were living for.I think the meaning of human life is -- because responsibility is better and better. When something was caught when young men on the battlefield, the battlefield after death, as captured in the face of the PLA are choosing to stay or get the money for the journey home, he did not hesitate to choose the home; when the fukki because the implementation of peoples Commune and the home field only in front of a small block when he was not discouraged, but remember that his father taught him "through their own efforts to make our Home Xu from the chicken into goose from the goose into sheep, from sheep into cattle, slowly re issued" he tried to let the family live better, these are your family ofresponsible performance. Your responsibility to live better because of this, he is the meaning of life.Students in all walks of life we all have their own responsibility, breakfast every morning to make cakes for Wang Shushu; white-collar Miss Lin every day sitting in front of the computer seriously under report; courier brother Zhou to you to express every day in all weathers. They all live better because of their responsibilities, and thats what we live for.I think the meaning of living is to give love continuously. When your tired one day later, he is still willing to bend down to your feet now; when life is not comfortable, he is still willing to give money to save the Long Feng Xia Na a new dress; know when Fugui was the first school in the Qing run when his eyes full of are proud. These are your love for them, they also love your. Your constant love, this is the purpose of his life.If the world were a cabin, love would be a window in the hut; if the world were a ship, then love would be a beacon in the boundless sea. To be loved is a wonderful enjoyment, and to love others is a noble and good character. As long as you observe carefully, you will find that there are many people around you who need you to continue to give love, and that is what we live for. What is it to live for? Your life tells us: to live, not only for themselves, those who you love and who love you is worth you to live for them. 4Man must be on the road to death, so death is a matter of no hurry, and death is a sure coming festival. -.By chance, I read Yu Huas "alive", the book tells the story of a fukki rich young master, first put into a family gambled all thepoor father died and he resented; unfortunately caught by the Kuomintang when young men died after those in the world, but the mother he died of illness; then there is blood to dry the Qing son died, her daughter Feng Xias wife died of postpartum septicemia, Zhende rickets eventually died; and two injured died like son-in-law, grandson of bitter root by eating beans by death; finally, only the old Fu and a cow story. The story spans China from the Kuomintang to Mao Zedong. Tells the broad and rich tears. After reading this ordinary story, I am meaningful, but also I understand the despair of despair. So Yu Hua wrote in the preface, "alive" in our China language is full of strength, its strength does not come from shouting, not from attack, but to endure, to endure life gives us the responsibility to bear the reality to give us happiness and suffering, boring and mediocre.I like talking to old people because talking with them always makes me think a little more about life. They have been to old age, not pain with the world and say goodbye, fear of death is coming, nor in the life left in the sad face, complaining about the injustice of yesterday. I see is the temper of time to allow the soul to Xijinqianhua in the dust, pure white. Visited thousands of the world, experience the life of the torrential rain, condensed water is life, to add a soft Youth passes as a fleeting wave. let life, enjoy the quiet beauty in the leaves. Quiet time, they no longer ask how many flowers, only asked whether smile enron. There is a good saying in living, "man lives for himself, not for anything else."". There is only one life, and when it is lost, it is really gone. It is priceless and can not be bought with money. The impermanence of life, come and go. In each of the parting of the intersection, we can only see a figure, the overlapping lingeringendless blessing about full load. In the life and soul of the moment, the cohesion is a good and happy, this moment of burst out of the brilliance, worth our lifetime waiting for, forever treasure. The heart of an old man is like a pebble flowing through the water. Young, how can we absorb all the light? Just because of all mortal beings, can not help but touch a little human fireworks, not through the vicissitudes of current events, and how can we get the real practice, let indifferent interpretation of life? However, this indifferent attitude toward life, but more or less gave me a calm forward. As a philosopher said, in fact, life in the end is but a false alarm. When you find that so many of the past have gone with the wind into the years lost aloes, growing pains in the wind seems to be the memory of understatement. I began to learn the youth behind the reversal raving quiet, gently tapping the years wrinkles, only hope that life in the light, I can still choose to do the positive and optimistic, let the heart as a mirror, leisurely path.Life is a beautiful scene in the one-way trip, its charm is in its way, it is never to return. Not only that, we will watch God clear, dress costumes take this way of life happiness tour, luxury life. In the ruins of the years of life movement in the United States spectrum. The road to life is long and long, and life has to sing all the way. To live is more important than anything. Lucky to be alive. 典范英语优秀读后感5After Read The African ChildThe African Child was written by an African writer called Camara Laye, who gave me a different perspective about seEing the African children. It is really a book which is worth reading although it do not belong to the best-sellers or the newestpublication. It is just a book written in a very long time ago by a not that famous writer, but you’ll find it fantastic or you will finally get something after read the book. Now let’s see the details. The African Child is a book collected by Collins English Library, and the library graded it with level 4. The level represents a text written within a basic vocabulary of 500 words and appropriate structures, 2:1000 words, 3:2000 words, 4:3000 words, 5:5000 words. The Collins English library series are written for students of English as a second or foreign language and for reluctant native readers. The African child only contains 12 chapters, but for me, it’s the perfect, because I cannot read that much words in a short time by my reading speed, I know I have to do with my reading. At the beginning of the book, there is a short passage written for the writer’s mother to express the writer’s thanks towards his great mother, and also, to appreciate the women of Africa. Then comes the story. It is a true story about the author himself became a man, and finally left his hometown and family. During the reading process, I find something interesting and touching. I used to misunderstood that all the African family are living a poor and unhappy life, and the woman here has little importance in their society. Now I know that not everything is so absolute. The author tells us that some people may hold this view for many years, but Africa is huge, with many different ways of life, and in their country the woman has considerable freedom and power. In his hometown, his mother was respected and admired greatly not only for her strong mind, but also her strange powers. He really had a mother with fantastic powers just like magic. In the book, it seems just many of them have magic, his father’s black guiding snake which guided him to do the right thing, and ledhim to the way of success. And also, his mother’s power to make animals come to life, the mystical ‘sema’ or medicine man, and marabouts who have a magic power to make wishes come true or can predict future just like a wizard. In the beginning of the book, I saw that those African boys did not live a hard time. Instead, they were happy almost every day, they loved wild animals, and the wild animals like snakes never hurt them, snakes are thought to be good friends and tutor to them. In a certain time, the author would go to visit his grandmother who lived in countryside. Here everybody knew everybody else, they know almost everything about each other, and each other’s secrets, but they were very considerate to each other in a country manner. Here we can see that country manners do not mean rough manners, people are more polite in the country than in the town. They have more time, and the way of life is simpler in the country, but there are accepted rules. Although everyone knows everything about everyone else’s lives, they are always very careful about each other’s personal freedom. And if their minds seem to work more slowly in the country, it is because speech is a serious matter. They always think careful before speaking. Here author spent a very happy time. He enjoyed the activity of cutting rice with adult and partners just as young as he is, he liked the sound of drum while cutting rice, and he loved to keep the birds away from their rice on the ground. He could swim in the river with others freely, and climb trees as he want even though his clothes would be torn. He was not afraid of that here, he had a grandma who would mend it without complain. She loved her grandson. But life is not happy all the time; there surely will be some hard time to spend. As the author went to school, old boys alwayshit the younger students, took their food and money away, but the young was too afraid to tell their fathers. Finally one day, hungry and hurt, one of the younger students dared to tell all about it to his father, one of the most famous people in the town, so the problem was solved, and the younger students was lived in a happy life ever after.Time flies, here came the day of boys becoming men. They would experience the circumci sion. The process is hurt, but it’s the price of becoming a man. All the boys behaved very bravely that they never cried out under the almost unbearable pain. They were the African children!,In the end, I want to say that although there are some strange customs in Africa, I do changed my view on the African lives. Maybe they do not as wealthy as the Europeans, but they are living a happy life too, just like the author said, Africa is huge, there’s different ways of life. Now I see Africa as a place full of love, care, magic and natural life.。

Here I am sitting on a couch alone, thinking about what I have just finished reading with tears of sadnefilling my eyes and fire of indignation filling my heart, which revived my exhausted soul that has already been covered by the cruelty and the selfishneof the secular world for a long time. It is truly what I felt after reading Oliver Twist, written by the prominent British author Charles Dickens. The resonance between me and the book makes me feel not only the kindneand the wickedneof all the characters in the novel, but what this aloof society lacks, and what I lack deep inside. These supreme resources I’m talking about right now are somewhat different from minerals, oil that we usually mention. They’re abstract like feelings, and some kinds of spiritual stimulation that all of us desire anxiously from one another —— love and care. Those charitable figures whom Dickens created in the novel are really what we need in life. They showed love and care to others, just as the gentle rain from the sky fell upon the earth, which was carved into my heart deeply.Mr. Brownlow is one such person. The other day he had one of his elaborate watches stolen by two skilled teenage thieves, Artful Dodger and Charley Bates, and thought naturally it was Oliver, who was an orphan and forced to live with a gang of thieves, that had done it because he was the only one near by after the theft had takenplace. Being wrathful, he caught Oliver, and sent him to the police station where the ill-tempered, unfair magistrates worked. Fortunately for him, Oliver was proved innocent by one onlooker afterwards. With sympathy, Mr. Brownlow took the injured, poor Oliver to his own home. There Oliver lived freely and gleefully for some months as if he were Mr. Brown low’s own son. One day, however, Mr. Brownlow asked Oliver to return some books to the bookseller and to send some money for the new books that he had already collected. The thief Oliver once stayed with kidnapped him. After that he disappeared in Mr. Brow nlow’s life. Searching for a while, Mr. Brownlow had to believe the fact that he had run away with his money. But dramatically, they came acroeach other again a few years later. Without hesitation, Mr. Brownlow took Oliver home for the second time not caring if he had done something evil.Perhaps most of us would feel confused about Mr. Brownlow’s reaction. But as a matter of fact, this is just the lesson we should learn from him. Jesus said in the Bible. “Forgive not seven times, but seventy-times seven.” Why is that? Because forgiveneis our ability to remove negative thoughts and neutralize them so our energy may be spent on doing what we came here for. We cannot move forward in our future if past issues cloud our thinking. Stop put Mr. Brownlow into the list of your models. Always give people a second chance no matter what they might have done. That’s also a substantial part of loving and caring others.Charles Dickens said:“Love makes the world go around.” These immortal words have inspired and will keep on inspiring us to chant the melody of love and to say the prayer of care forevermore. Let us, therefore, enjoy lifeand treat other people lovingly. These principles are the roots and foundations of beliefs supporting this article and our mission together.

名著的英语读后感第一篇:呼啸山庄名著英语读后感a reading report of wuthering heightsthe book i have read this term is wuthering heights. emily bronteis perhaps the greatest writer of the three bronte sisters——charlotte bronte, emily, and anne bronte. emily bronte published only one novel, wuthering heights . some of her best lyric are also rated with the best in english poetry. her famous poems are love and friendship, the bluebell.a man named lockwood rents a manor house called thrushcrossgrange where the housekeeper nelly tells him the story here. one day, mr. earnshaw, the owner of the manor, goes to liverpool and returns home with an orphan boy. at first, the earnshaw children——a boy named hindley and his younger sister catherine ——detest heathcliff. but catherine quickly es to love him. mr. earnshaw prefers him to his own son, and he sends hindley away to college when he treats heathcliff badly.then mr. earnshaw dies, and hindley returns with a wife. he treatsheathcliff as a labor to seek revenge on him. one night, heathcliff and catherine wander to thrushcross grange. catherine is bitten by a dog and is forced to stay at the the grange. during that time, sheinfatuates with edgar. catherine’s desire for social advancement prompts her to bee engaged to edgar linton. heathcliff runs aways froms wuthering heights, and returning shortly after catherine and edgar’s marriage. then he deviously lends money to drunken hindley. when hindley dies, he inherits the manor. he places himself in line to inherit thrushcross grange by marring isabella linton. catherine bees ill, she gives birth to a daughter and dies. shortly therefore, isabella flees to london and gives birth to heathcliff’s son, named hareton. thirteen years pass, young catherine meets hareton. they began a secretromance. linton pursues catherine only because his father forces him to. when edgar nears death, heathcliff lures and holds catherineprisoner until she marries linton. then edgar and linton die soon. six months later, lockwood returns, and finds that catherine grows to love hareton as they live together and plan to be married. heathcliff beesmore and more obsessed with elder catherine, and then dies soon.wuthering heights is a classic tragedy of love. i am surprised by howmuch i like it. this is a book that talks about the death ofromantic notions, even the relatively happen ending doesn’t reduce its sorrow. when i was wrapped up in the story, i am so moved by their true love and felt sadness deep in my heart. after reading the whole story, i would like to talk about the main character of the story——catherine earnshaw and her choice of marriage. catherine does love heathcliff very much for he is more herself than she is, but her choice of love really leads to the tragedy. in catherine’s life, she made a very important decision in her life——marrying to edgar. in fact, her love for edgar can never be pared to that for heathcliff. she did so, because she thought the wealth of edgar would be useful to help heathcliff.heathcliff is a man full of retaliations. he loved catherine very much, but what he did, on the contrary, added to the misery of catherine, he sho uld not walk into catherine’s life again after his disappearance. at the same time, his revenge on young catherine and edgar as well as his own son seems so ridiculous and can only bring himself with endless sadness.as far as i am concerned, the choice between true love and highsocial status is so difficult. many people say that the life is real, you can not make a living only depend on romance, so most people persuade me to marry to a rich man. in the modern life, if one man hasno house or money, it is difficult for him to find a wife. so we can not get rid of thinking of this fact. different people have different attitudes towards happiness. they should choose unique love from which they can find what they like best, in order thatthey can stay happy all their lives.after reading, i have a better understanding of love. if you really lovesomeone, his or her happiness is the most matters. not having aright understanding of and attitudes towards love will only result in hurting yourself as well as the one you love. in a ward, love is the permanent theme of literature and human beings. people often struggle in those troubling romantic notions. to be or not to be, it’s really aquestion. however, which kind of marriage one should choose depends all on his or her character and experience, no one else can make choice for them and that’s why every love story is unique. 英语名著读后感!review of “is arrogant and prejudice”austin "is arrogant and prejudice",just like she said,is on two inches ivory the thin carving,it is austin's representative works.this winning the pulizer prize in 1953 and the 1954 novel prize for literature and confirmed his power and presence in the literary world. hemingway is also one of my favorite writers.besides the old man and the sea, i have read some of his other works, such as the sun also rises, a farewell to arms and the snow of kilimanijaro. but the old man and the sea is the one that left the deepest impression on me.i first read this book when i was in my fifteens. and now i remember it just as well as if i had read it yesterday.pride and prejudice is a chefdoeuvre. my first impression of this story was from screen.it's long long ago, maybe before i can read english books. i don't remember which movie edition i had seen. but i was impressed by themusic, the scenery and the costume. i was very favor of a section of music in its balls. it's pretty brisk, liked a wonderful song of a bird. regarding to the characters, i liked elizabeth, the heroine, though i didn't think she's beautiful. but she's smart. however, i didn't pay much attention to the plot. i thought it's so long that it made me impatient and bored. by now, i haven't read the whole story in english or its chinese version, either. i owe it to my prejudice.in fact, i didn't understand the story at that time. i didn't know why it called pride and prejudice. of course someone was pride, but i didn't find where' s the prejudice. i thought it's normal, the way people treated each other in that. i considered prejudice would be very disgusting. but to the movie everthing was ok in my minds, except its length. now, i think i have understood more about it. i'm a prejudiced person so i can't find where's wrong. i merely like to do the things i like. everytime i meet somebody or something,my thinking about he or it all depends on my foregone experience and my mood of the time.《the adventures of tom sawyer》汤姆索亚历险记读后感:the adventures of tom sawyer is american famous literary giant mark twain take his youth as the main subject to all of poland, even in europe in the 1930s. szpilman died in 2014 at the age of 88, and he wrote down the amazing story immediately after the liberation of poland, which tells his struggle to survive nazi occupation of poland during world war ii.szpilman became subject to anti-jewish laws imposed by the conquering germans. by the start of the 1940s, szpilman had seen his world would go from piano concert halls to the jewish ghetto of warsawand then must suffer the tragedy of his family deported to a death camp. at last deciding to escape, szpilman went into hiding as a jewishrefugee where he was a witness to the warsaw ghetto uprising in 1943 and the warsaw city revolt in 1944.in 1999, this book was rewarded as o ne of the best books. “ 'the pianist,' wladyslaw szpilman's remarkable memoir of his survival in warsaw between the years 1939 and 1945, is a significant contribution to the literature of remembrance, a document of lasting historical and human value. it has all the rawness and specificity of horrors painfully and unprehendingly withstood and afterward just as unprehendingly --but necessarily-- recorded. writing this book would seem to have been a further act of survival by a man who performed more of them in six years than most human beings do in a lifetime. there are many ways to read a book about the holocaust, and one of them, surely, inevitably, is to try to answer the unanswerable: what makes one man endure when so manyothers succumb? from szpilman's testimony we learn this: it is an ineffable and wholly unpredictable mixture of fate, determination, accident, instinct. to know wladyslaw szpilman is, in the most hopeless of contexts, to know a modicum of hope” .it has been reprinted for many times and was translated to at least 30 kinds of languages. and it was also been made into a movie, which won three oscars: best director, best actor, and best adapted screenplay.after finishing appreciating the book as well as the movie, i was deeply shockedand moved. in the ghetto, people lived in fear from minute to minute, starving, ill, tired and witnessing scenes of unspeakable horror. people were shot at random by bored german soldiers; others were registered and sent to concentration camps.by contrast, we are so happy to live in the peaceful world, with enough food, sound body and freedom. there’s no excuse to plain, the only thing we should do is to cherish our beautiful life.on the process of szpilman’s escape, a number of people help him to survive, including his friends and boss and even a germany caption. that remains me the humanity, which exists among people in every corner ofthe world. we all have families, we all have friends, and we all havethe right to live. but do the germans really c an’t understand thispoint? it seems that they take killing others as game, but after burning the dead bodies of the jews, they bee talk about their own mothers…… war, it’s all because the war. how many innocent people die? how much unnecessary loss is caused?in the end, i would say that everyone has the responsibility to object to and avoid violence and wars, and we must build a harmonious world through our own efforts. then we can really live a happy life.第四篇:英语名著读后感简爱麦克白呼啸山庄macbethmacbeth is one of the scriptures written by shakespeare. the storyis filled with blood and its plot twists and tums .at first, macbeth was a heroic warrior whom the king depended on and trusted. but after he heard what the three hags said and believed it, and after his wife’s urging, the desire to murder, like an iron mask, came down over his human features . from this point, there was no going back.. he killed the king ,his friend banquo and all the family members of macduff successively in order to get the statues of king and keep it. macbeth ad too much blood on his hands! just as the saying goes, ‘you must reap what you have sow,’ macbeth’s wife became mad and died and macbeth failed to stem the revolt and was killed by macduff.from this story, i see the changes of macbeth’s feature. at first, he was soft with a clear conscience. however, at last, he no longer felt guilty or agonized , killing men was like swatting flies to him. his human nature was buried by benefit. everyone will pay the price for any thing that he did. te biter is sometimes bit. as a students, i think we shouldn’t intrigue against each other but help each other instead in order to make our mon ambitions e true.wuthering heightswuthering heights is a well-written tragedy of love. i think cathy is a real dangerous beauty who caused the tragedy because of her vanity. heathcliff or edgar, she chose edgar because she thought that it would degrade her to marry heathcliff. then, the revenge of heathcliff started. heathcliff c ame back with a lot of money and cheated hindley’s belongings by a card game. he married edgar’s sister isabella and hijacked little catherine and forced her to be married with his dying son. he had given all his love to cathy and his heart turned into astone as soon as cathy was married to edgar. the only thing to our happiness was that little catherine fell in love with hareton and the revenge was over at last.as we all know, love should be selfless and holy. it shouldn’t be connected with one’s sta tus, health, property or anything else. just as the buzzword goes,“i love you not because of who you are, but because of who l am with you.” love is the purest thing in the word that exceeds glacial melt water. at least, love is far away from revenge.the story is wonderful and everyone who reads it would be touched and moved. it is mixed with love and hate, happiness and sadness. wuthering heights is a book worth reading because it can give you so much lessons about life. try to read it and you won’t reg ret it!jane eyre‘yes, jane .you are a free woman,’ he said.‘so choose freelynow .i offer you my heart ,my hand, and all my life.’ as a reader, i can’t imagine what could make jane much more surprised and happier than that. when mr. rochester ask ed, ‘will you marry me, jane?’ and when he said ,‘use my name-edward-and accept me .’i am filled wit tears and moved a lot. but out of our expectation, two uninvited guests appeared on the wedding and declared that mr. rochester had married another woman .there was no doubt that the wedding was destroyed .after jane knew that mr. rochester was tricked into marrying bertha mason who was a madwoman and a drunkard by mason’s family ,she still left thornfield hall resolutely and determinedly without anything mr. rochester’s. living in a world without mr. rochester was more painful than any punishment to jane . years late ,jane came back as a wealthy women .‘will you marry me? poor , blind and crippled?’ ‘yes, sir.’after reading this story , i understand the true meaning oflove .just as the saying goes, i love you not because of who youare ,but because ofwho i am when i am with you. love is like a crystal which is pure without any defect. if you fall in love ,you will throwall caution to the winds . love triumphs over everything. love has no age ,no limit and no death . there is no paradise on earth equal to the union of love and innocence . to my happiness, the story has a good ending as i excepted. jane eyre is one of the most wonderful story in the world and attracts so many people. it is well worth reading and youwill be touched a lot and benefit a lot.第五篇:简爱世界名著全英文读后感全英文读书笔记英语专业大学本科 feelings of reading jane eyre useful expression1) [useful expression]if all the world hated you, and believed you wicked, while your own conscience approved you, and absolved you from guilt, you would not be without friends.2) [useful expression]prejudices, it is well known, as most difficult to eradicate from the heart whose soil has never been loosened or fertilized by education: they grow there, firm as weeds among stones.3) [useful expression]life appears to me too short to be spent in nursing animosity or registering wrongs.the type of materials in this book is written in english, and the topic area is literature. i spent reading the book for 2 months.in the world history of literature, some many classical famous works are going to be immortal, but jane eyre deeply enters people's soul deeply, it by irresistible intrinsic deep has attracted the tens of thousands of readers deeply, has affected people's inner world, is in the world history of literature the eternal classics.when jane eyre was a baby, her parents died. so she had to live with her uncle and his family. unfortunately, her uncle also went away several years later.then jane was sent to the logwood, which was a charity school and became a teacher there when she grown up. later she left it to bee a governess of adela varens, the ward of mr. edward rochester, a thornfield manor. later, jane and mr. rochester fell in love with each other, and they decided to get married. but mr. rochester was revealed that he had a wife during the wedding ceremony. so janeleft thornfield and mr. rochester. otherwise mr. rochester’s wife was crazy. one day, she made a fire. mr. rochester tried his best to save his wife, but failed and his eyes were burnt and he became blind.the terrible news came to jane, she came back to mr. rochester hurriedly. jane told mr. rochester that she still loved him a lot, and tried her best to cheer him up. finally, they got married, and had a lovely baby.this book enthralled me with the charm of language, and broughthome to me the great wealth of english words and phrases.but this bookis too difficult to me, and i had to look up a number of words. if there are explains of some difficult words, i think it will be much better.the figure of jane eyre had the greatest impact on me. after i close the covers of the book, after having a long journey of the spirit, jane eyre, a marvelous figure, has left us so much to recall and to think: i remember her goodness, her pursuit of justice, her self-respect and the clear situation on equality, her striving for life, her toughness andher confidence…the wr iting of the book is effective, beautiful and even fascinating. the author is skillful in telling stories. i can easilyfind out the characters of these dramatis personages.behind thewonderful story, the author expressed herstrong dissatisfactions to the society then. the author thinks that people should be good educated, and everyone is equal, no matter male or female.the new facts that i hadn’t learn before is goodness.i remember her goodness: for someone who lost arms and blinded in eyes, for someone who despised her for her ordinariness, and even for someone who had hurt her deeply in the past.to me, i think that i can hardly forgive those people who have hurt me deeply. may be it is good enough that not to do some revenge.as a result of reading this book, her story makes methinking about life and i learn much from her experience, at least, that is a fresh new recognition of the real.i can feel that how beauty really is, as we are all fleshly men, so we can’t distinguish whether a man is of noblene ss or humbleness, but fleshly men, so we can’t distinguish whether a man is of nobleness or humbleness, but as there are great differences in our souls, and from that, we can know that whether a manis noble or ordinary, and even obscure, that is, whether he is beautiful or not.in essence, bronte's novel became a direct assault on victorian morality. controversy based in its realistic exposure of thoughts once considered improper for a lady of the 19th century.emotions any respectable girl would repress. women at this time were not to feel passion, nor were they considered sexual beings.to conceive the thought of women expressing rage and blatantly retaliating against authority was defiance against the traditional role of women. jane eyre sent controversy through the literary munity.for not only was it written by a woman but marked the first use of realistic characters. jane's plexitylied in her being neither holy good or evil. she was poor and plain in a time when society considered "an ugly woman a blot on the face of creation." it challenged victorian class structure in a strictly hierarchal society.a relationship between a lowly governess and a wealthy nobleman was simply unheard of. bronte drew criticism for her attack on the aristocracy who she deemed as hypocritical "showy but ... not genuine." she assaulted individual's already established morals by presenting a plausible case for bigamy.。
